Masan Port, which is a main entrance to Korea, has undergone the tough time these days. Many problems are mainly due to the deterioration of harbor facilities, the shortage of waterfront area and the decrease of the trading volumes. Especially the trading volumes are seriously affected by the Busan New Port, which was not only very close to the Masan Port but constructed in a large scale. For the Masan Port to develop continuously, therefore, it is vital to modernize harbor facilities, redevelop the old harbor, expand its waterfront, construct green port and develop harbor for sightseeing. At the same time, Masan port should be ready to develop a higher value added port. To vitalize Masan port's economy, we have to push forward a differentiation strategy that makes Masan port specialized harbor for distributing goods like hard and heavy cargo.

The purpose of this paper is to study on the third party logistics service enforcement of inland container depot at Pusan area. The main results of this paper are as follows: First, the inland container depot related to location selecting factor researches analyzed and korean TPL market reviewed. Second, the TPL service function reinforcement method and investments are mentioned. In detail the 9 factors are as follows: competitive high position and improvements of harbor back complex, ICD goods enterprise investment strategies, the harbor back which is inexpensive only the rent, taxes benefit and incentive, site security and base facility expansion, the goods service provision which is flexible, connection plan construction of goods enterprise, the incentive strategic establishment which is discriminated, the marketing activity which is long-term. and lastly the ICD and TPL Policy are needed that government and logistic enterprise's cooperation gains competitive advantage.

The aim of this paper is to establish the evaluation system of port logistics of Incheon using the QFD(Quality Function Deployment) model. The research methodology is consisted of four phases. The first step is to investigate the important factors consisting the port logistics of Incheon and then calculate the weighting of factors by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The second step is to draw out the degree of inter-relation among factors by Fuzzy Subordination Relations (FSR). At the third step, the established system through the QFD method using results of the first and second steps will be used to evaluate and diagnosis the level of port logistics of Incheon. Finally, the sensitivity analysis will be performed and the degree of improving port logistics will be presented according to the rising the relevant factors.

우리나라 상품의 대외경쟁력은 대체적으로 국내 물류비에서 결정된다. 이 좁은 국토(거리상으로)에서 왜 그리도 많은 내륙 물류비를 부담해야 하는 지 많은 이들이 의아해 한다. 제대로 갖추어져 있지 못한 국가차원의 사회간접자본(SOC) 시설, 승용차 중심의 도로운송시스템도 문제지만 제품공장과 수출입관문인 항만.공항간의 연결점에 있는 물류거점시설들이 활성화돼 있지 않다는 것이 요인으로 지적되고 있다. 민간업자 차원에서는 국토 요소요소에 물류센타를 세워놓고 고객들의 화물에 대한 일괄 물류서비스를 제공하려고 많은 노력들을 하고 있다. 이곳에서는 보관, 재고관리, 유통가공, 보세운송, 수배송, 물류대행, 물류컨설팅 등 종합(통합) 물류서비스들이 이루어진다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 물류센터의 실태를 조사하여 수요에 따른 물류센터의 공급능력을 평가하면서 물류의 일괄서비스 측면에서의 효율성을 점검해 보고져 한다. 또한 향후 이 분야에 있는 연구나 조사 필요성이 있는 과제가 무엇인지를 검토하여 단계별 연구과제를 정의하여 체계적인 연구가 진행될 수 있도록 하는데 그 믿걸음이 되고져 한다.

Recently, the harbor function is being reconsidered with the viewpoint of logistics, and various efforts are given to enhance the harbor performance agglomerating all procedures of stevedoring, treatment and background transportation of freight. The harbor performance largely depends on the efficient combination of the engineering part of harbor construction and the forthcoming logistics part. It may thus be anticipated in the future that the design concept of harbor construction will be transferred to a comprehensive consideration integrating both engineering and logistics parts to maximize the ultimate harbor operational performance. In the present study, various indicators for assessing a modem container terminal performance are presented far the purpose of helping harbor engineers understand the fundamental logistics through container handling operations. The indicators are compared, analyzed and compiled, by referring to the practical cases of Busan and Gwangyang ports as an illustration.

국가의 충체적 활성과 경쟁력 확보는 정부의 적절한 정책수행에 의해서만 가능하고 특히, 항만, 공항, 도로 철도 등 사회간접자본의 확충은 민간기업으로서는 할 수 없는 정부 고유의 역할이다. 정부는 여러 전문기관을 통해서 이러한 사업을 위한 연구를 수행하여 왔다. 1980년도 이후 급격히 증대되어온 해운물동량과 특히 컨테이너 물동량의 증대에 대비하면서 장내의 시설수요를 예측하고 현실에 닥치는 물류적체 해소를 위하여 부산항 3단계 공사등 긴급한 시설을 확충하여 왔다. (중략)

The purpose of this paper is to quantify the regional economic effects of the development in Incheon New Port(Stage I) using a regional I/O table and to provide implications for making policies to support the development of the port logistics industry. According to the results of this study, production inducing effect 6,064.5 billion won on Incheon local economy from the development of port facilities at the Incheon New Port (Stage I) occupies 15.0% of 40,398.5 billion won the total production of the Incheon area in 2005, added value inducing effect 2,821.3 billion won occupies 7.7% of 36,508.0 billion won the total added value of the Incheon area in 2005, and induced new employment 72,424 workers occupies 9.0% of 808,248 workers the total number of employees in the Incheon area in 2005. As presented above, the development in the Incheon New Port(Stage I) was expected to have huge spillover effects on Incheon local economy. Accordingly, the development in Incheon New Port must be promoted in a timely manner on national.

In this paper, the research trends of port hinterland from 1990 to 2018 were analyzed periodically using the Social Network Analysis (SNA) method. The data were collected from major academic journals and totally 116 papers were identified for analysis. The results of the analysis showed that in the first period (1990-1999), keywords can be listed as "containerization", "transport infrastructure" and developed countries related keywords like "Italy", "Canada" and "Germany". The results of the second period (2000-2009) were originated from keywords such as "regionalization", "competitiveness", "Asian consolidation" and "technology". In the third period (2010-2018), the results were derived from keywords such as "intermodal transport", "dry port", "container" and container related keywords and "shipping" and shipping related keywords. We could see the studies of port hinterland are becoming more systematic and integrated. This study provides some important implications for both academic, and industrial viewpoints, and it is helpful to understand the research concentration.

The purpose of this study is to develope a series of business models for promotion of value added logistics activities of lumber hinterland in Incheon Northport. A set of policies to create value added developed are an import market diversification model using Incheon Northport, a model by building integration processing center by pallet facility, a model by joint logistics center, an export-oriented Pre-cut material development model and an export processing value added model.

Jeon-buk is well equipped for the growth of the logistics industry as it is the center of inland and marine traffic. However, it was not activated because of the infrastructure insufficiency. This paper surveyed the logistics industry facilities, interviewed people who are engaged in its business, researched into their business difficulties and the problem of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk. As a result of research, this paper makes an alternative plan for the development of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk area.
