시스템 다이내믹스를 이용한 남북한 항공수요 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Forecasting of Inter-Korea Air Passenger Demand Using System Dynamics)

  • This study aims to forecast of Air Passenger Demand between South Korea and North Korea using the system dynamics analysis methodology that is based on the system thinking. System dynamics is not only a tool that makes the systematic thought to a model but also a computer program-based analysis methodology that mathematically models the system varying according to time variation. This study analyzed the causal relationship based on the interrelation among variables and structured them by considering various variables that affect aviation cooperation from the perspective of Air passenger demand forecasting. In addition, based on the causal relationship between variables, this study also completed the causal loop diagram that forms a feedback loop, constructed the stock-flow diagram of Inter-Korean model using Vensim program. In this study, Air passenger demand was using by the simulation variable value into System Dynamics. This study was difficult to reflect the various variables constituting the North Korea environment, and there is a limit to the occurrence of events in North Korea.

SHELL 모델과 HFACS를 활용한 영국 민간 무인 항공기 사고 요인 특징 분석 (Characteristics Analysis of Accident Factors of UK Civil Unmanned Aircraft Using SHELL Model and HFACS)

  • The unmanned aerial vehicle industry has developed a lot, but the possibility of accidents is increasing due to potential risks. In this study, SHELL models and HFACS were used to analyze unmanned aerial vehicle accidents in the UK and to identify the main causes and characteristics of accidents. The main cause analyzed by the SHELL model was identified as an abnormality in the alarm system. The main cause of the accident analyzed by HFACS was identified as the technical environment. The common cause identified by the SHELL model and HFACS was identified as a mechanical problem of unmanned aerial vehicles. This is due to the lack of accurate information or functionality of the alarm system in the operator interface, which often prevents the operator from responding to sensitive information. Therefore, in order to prevent civil UAV accidents, the stability and reliability of the system must be secured through regular inspections of the UAV system and continuous software updates. In addition, an ergonomic approach considering human interfaces is needed when developing technologies.

모의비행훈련장치 제도 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Flight Simulation Training Device System)

  • As the domestic aviation industry develops, demand for pilots is increasing. As a result, the demand for flight training using flight simulation training devices that implement the same or similar interior of aircraft is also increasing. Despite this increase in demand, domestic laws, regulations and management systems related to flight simulation training devices have remained unchanged since 2009. As a result, the criteria for designation of new or developed flight simulation training devices are ambiguous. In addition, proper improvement of the current system should be prioritized for designation of new devices such as UAM and VR, along with developing flight simulation training devices. It is intended to present measures to improve the domestic flight simulation training system by investigating and analyzing advanced cases overseas.

유해산출물을 고려한 국내 공항 효율성 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study of Analysis for Domestic Airport Efficiency Considering Undesirable Output)

  • Recently, Intense competition is expected to bring about continuous change with the rapid global aviation industry. In particular, domestic passenger demand has been steadily increasing over the past five years, with domestic and international shipments growing at a CAGR of 8.4% and 10.0%, respectively. In addition to the economic value of the airport, social interest due to greenhouse gas emissions is also rising. In this study, we analyzed the efficiency of airport operation by using DEA model(Directional Technology Distance Function) considering undesirable output for 14 airports in Korea. As a result of analysis, all airports except Gimhae, Yangyang, Cheongju and Yeosu were analyzed as efficient airports. However, only Gimpo, Gimhae, Jeju, Muan, Daegu and Gwangju were analyzed as efficient airports considering the undesirable output.

머신러닝을 이용한 항공기 수리부속 예측 모델의 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on Aircraft Repair Parts Prediction Model Using Machine Learning)

  • In order to predict the future needs of the aircraft repair parts, each military group develops and applies various techniques to their characteristics. However, the aircraft and the equipped weapon systems are becoming increasingly advanced, and there is a problem in improving the hit rate by applying the existing demand prediction technique due to the change of the aircraft condition according to the long term operation of the aircraft. In this study, we propose a new prediction model based on the conventional time-series analysis technique to improve the prediction accuracy of aircraft repair parts by using machine learning model. And we show the most effective predictive method by demonstrating the change of hit rate based on actual data.

스타트업 항공사 객실승무원 조직의 안전리더십 구성요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Research on Factors Composing the Flight Attendant Organization's Safety Leadership)

  • A startup airline is motivating its flight attendants to do voluntary and effective safety behavior as well as setting up safety culture in its organization at the same time in the early stage of revenue-flight service due to the lack of flight operation experience compared to competing airlines. Based on the sample of flight attendants from a startup airline, this paper tried to perform empirical analysis which focused on relationship among safety leadership, safety motivation and safety behavior. According to empirical analysis, it was proven psychological resources had a significantly positive effect on work engagement. Work engagement is proven to have a significantly positive effect on both flight attendants' safety motivation and their safety work. It was also implied that flight attendants couldn't understand a contradictory attitude of their leaders because leaders had them focus on safety work engagement while not providing enough human resource and capital. In addition, it was found leader's excessive emphasizing safety policy might not result in flight attendants' safety behavior.

항공사 객실승무원의 조직지원인식과 직무몰입의 관계성 연구: 국내 저비용항공사를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Cabin Crew's Perceived Organizational Support and Their Work Commitment: Focusing on Low Cost Carrier in Korea)

  • Due to globalization, the air transport industry plays a key role in the global economy. In particular, the air transport industry is highly dependent on human resources, and the capabilities of the cabin crews in managing safety and providing service in a cabin depend on the service quality and the success of the company's human resource management. Therefore, systematic support and interest in competitive key personnel are believed as very important factors. Airlines need to improve the work engagement of airline cabin crew through organizational supportive efforts. Thus this paper surveyed 309 cabin crews who worked at low cost carrier and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining the relationship between organizational identification and job commitment of cabin crew according to the airline's perception of organizational support. The comprehensive analysis reveals that perceived organization support has a significantly positive impact on cabin crews' work engagement.

국내 지방공항의 특성화 및 활성화 방안 연구 - 방위산업 기반 에어쇼 사례를 중심으로 - (A Research on the Development of Domestic Regional Airports Considering the Characteristics of Air-Defense Industry-Based Airshow)

  • Since 2017, South Korea's defense exports have shown the world's highest rate of increase of 177% over the past five years, making it the 8th largest defense exporting country in the world. In particular, the aerospace industry is playing a leading role in the Korean defense industry. Among these K-defense industries, the capabilities of the aerospace industry are closely related to the Sacheon Air Show. Sacheon Air Show is one of the largest aviation events in Korea, and products with expertise in the aerospace field are exhibited and demonstrated. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to seek the revitalization of domestic local airports, especially Sacheon Airport, through the Sacheon Air Show held at Sacheon Airport in Gyeongsangnam-do. The first is the development of various contents, the second is the maximization of expertise using air shows, and the third is internationalization. By actively promoting these measures, Sacheon Air Show will be able to maximize the expertise of K-Defense, recognize it as an international event, and promote the vitalization of Sacheon Airport in Gyeongsangnam-do by securing domestic and foreign participants and visitors.

정밀접근활주로 등급 상향에 따른 편익산정에 관한 연구 (A Study for Estimation of Benefit from Upgrading Precision Approach Runway Category)

  • The effects of weather on aircraft operations are predominant. In particular, severe weather, such as fog, strong winds, rainfall and snow, can cause delays, diversion or cancellation of operations. Of these, fog is considered the main reason for restricting aircraft operations. Meanwhile, Precision instrument approach using instrument landing system(ILS) has allowed aircraft to land safely even in situations where visibility is limited. However, the precision instrument approach require not only the performance of the aircraft but also the enhancement of the runway. In November 2018, Gimpo international Airport raised the category of the runway 14R from CAT-IIIa to CAT-IIIb to improve aviation safety and operational efficiency. Based on this, the research presented a methodology for estimating benefits according to the category upgrade of the precision approach runway, and estimated the benefits to Gimpo International Airport based on the methodology presented.

EBT를 활용한 민간항공 조종사의 비정상상황 대처능력 향상 (Improving Airline Pilot's Ability for Abnormal & Emergency Situation by Utilizing EBT)

  • 항공사고조사 분석자료를 통해 ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization)와 IATA (International Air Transport Association) 회원국의 전문가들은 비행 안전에 추가적인 개선이 필요함에 공감하게 되었고 조종사 훈련에 대하여 대대적으로 포괄적인 검토가 이루어졌다. 이 검토 결과 조종사의 기술적인 부분뿐만 아니라 CRM (crew resource management)과 관련된 비기술적인 부분의 역량 개발에 중점을 두게 되었다. 2013년에 ICAO에서 항공안전 증진을 위한 조종사의 역량 개발과 강화를 위해 체약국에 EBT (evidence-based training) 시행을 권고하였다. 본 연구에서는 국내 항공사들은 어떻게 EBT 훈련프로그램을 활용하고 있고 비정상 상황에 조우하였을 때 위협과 과실을 어떻게 관리하여 운항 본연의 목적인 안전을 확보하고 증진할 수 있는지, EBT의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있는 비기술적인 핵심역량을 개선 발전시킬 방안을 도출하고자 한다.
