Comparative Analysis on the Facilitating Factors Affecting Learning Persistence in Synchronous & Asynchronous Emergency Remote Teaching In University Pandemic Situations (팬데믹 상황 속 대학의 동시적·비동시적 원격수업 촉진요인이 학습지속의향에 미치는 영향 비교분석)

  • This study has explored the facilitating factors affecting the learning persistence of university students and divided Emergency Remote Teaching(ERT) into two types based on its policies. The conclusions are as follows: First, perceived usefulness was the facilitating factor affecting learning persistence in Synchronous ERT. Therefore, learning persistence would improve by establishing various strategies such as exploring appropriate teaching strategies and building a stable infrastructure. Second, it was perceived usefulness, social presence, and system quality that were the facilitating factors affecting learning persistence in Asynchronous ERT. Thus, learning persistence would increase accompanied by immediate feedback, more active interaction, and so on.

  • In this paper, the research has been done to develop the inclination test items to form the desirable online learning community in which social interaction may be maximized, dropout rate lowered and learners' feeling of isolation eliminated. Once developed, the inclination test items have been classified into homogeneous ones and heterogeneous ones. And on the basis of the results of this research, Intelligent agent based Inclination Test Grouping e-learning System(IIGS) has been developed, which can perform automatic grouping of online leaning community by intelligent agent. The results of this research with 1,000 teachers in reality by means of developing the grouping system have shown that 151 groups are automatically formed. Among them, 34% have shown very high degree of learning satisfaction and intended to maintain the groups in the future.

  • The increasing demand for the distance learning has created a need to explore the implications of the emerging paradigm shift in the learning environment. For the use of information technology to improve learning processes, the pedagogical assumptions underlying the design of information technology for educational purposes must be understood. However, little theoretical development or empirical research has examined learning effectiveness in web-based distance learning. Thus, this paper reviews from research in management communications, education, social psychology, and information systems literatures to develop an conceptual model of influences on web-based corporate education outcomes. The hypotheses empirically examined using survey data from 152 students of 'L' company. The data support the validity and reliability of our constructs. And the hypotheses of this study get partially significant support. Finally, the implications of this survey results are discussed in terms of learning performance.

  • Web-based teaching-learning systems through the internet has continuously pursued the learner-centered educational environment by promoting the interaction between leachers and students. As a result, learners haute become free of the limit of time and space and have more ways to have access to education information more easily. Consequently, the development of the internet has resulted in the changes of the educational environment. Web-based distance education through the internet is now expected to be applied widely in various fields of education. In fact, distance education through the internet has taken place in a new education paradigm. The purpose of this paper is to promote the economical and educational efficiency of all the procedures from developing the system to operating in a remote training cyber system. Therefore in developing the system, we designed it to raise the efficiency by making main modulo into components and by reducing the terms and cost by reuse. Also lute meant to raise the efficiency of education by applying constructivism as an educational basic.

Methods and strategies for cultural heritage education using local archaeological heritage (지역 고고유산 체험 교육의 활성화 방안과 전략)

  • This paper presents several reasons for the necessity of archaeological hands-on training and strategies for its implementation. First, it is necessary to produce a specialized manual for local cultural heritage education that can enhance the specialization and educational effectiveness of archaeological experience education. In addition, in order to secure professionalism in hands-on education and conduct it systematically, the ability of instructors to conduct education is important, so instructor competence reinforcement education needs to be conducted regularly. In addition, hands-on education needs a strategy of planning and content development of archaeological education programs, with consideration given to the subjects of learning, and the establishment of a cooperative network. It is time to cooperate with various experts to establish an education system necessary for cultural heritage education in the region and develop customized content for local archaeological heritage supplementary textbooks. Finally, due to Covid-19, we agonized over effective education plans for online archaeological heritage education, which requires active interaction class design and a strategy to promote interaction between professors and learners. In addition, such archaeological heritage education should be compatible with the goal of providing customized lifelong education.

Development of Virtual Classroom for Computer System Architecture based on the Flash ActionScript (플래시 액션스크립트 기반의 컴퓨터 시스템 구조 가상 학습실 개발)

  • According to the appearance of various virtual websites using multimedia technologies for engineering education, the internet applications in engineering education have drawn much interests. But unidirectional communication, simple text/image based webpages and tedious learning process without motivation etc. have made the lowering of educational efficiency in cyberspace. Thus, to cope with these difficulties this paper presents a web-based educational Flash movies based on ActionScript language for understanding the principles of the computer system architecture. The proposed Flash movies provides the improved learning methods which can enhance the interests of learners. The results of this paper can be widely used to improve the efficiency of cyberlectures in the cyber university. Several sample Flash movies are illustrated to show the validity of the proposed learning method.

  • 마이크로티칭은 교사들의 모의수업을 녹화한 후 피드백, 평가, 성찰의 과정을 통하여 수업 스킬을 개선하는 교수-학습방법으로 교직수업 및 교원연수 등에 활용되고 있다. 그러나 마이크로티칭을 진행하는 데에는 상당한 시간적, 물리적 부담이 부가되며, 때문에 더욱 의미있는 학습, 평가와 성찰의 기회가 허락되지 않기도 한다. 따라서 이를 효율적, 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 방안이 모색되어야 한다는 요구가 있다. 본 연구에서는 동영상 위키 시스템에 기반을 둔 마이크로티칭 지원도구를 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 텍스트, 음성 기반 피드백 기능을 지원하여 교수자의 피드백을 보다 원활하게 도우며, 동영상 위키의 속성을 활용하여 동료피드백을 지원하여 능동적 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있다.

  • 메인프레임 기반 컴퓨팅에서 PC 기반 컴퓨팅에 이어 제3세대 컴퓨터 환경인 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경으로의 진화는 현실에 컴퓨터를 탑재하여 언제 어디서나 모든 곳에 존재하는 네트워크 환경을 제공하고 있고, 이러한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 이를 연동한 네트워크 패러다임은 미래교육 시스템이 나가야 할 새로운 방향을 제시한다. 양방향 의사소통을 기본으로 하는 지식기반사회의 교육패러다임의 변화는 컴퓨터의 역할 패러다임의 변화와 그 맥을 함께 하고 있으며, 이러닝 분야에서도 기존의 단순하고 일방향적인 교육 콘텐츠에서 벗어나 새로운 기술에 기반한 고품질의 양방향적 콘텐츠를 요구하고 있다. 이에 대한 하나의 대안으로 학습자에게 실재감과 몰입감을 촉진하고 마커의 직접적인 조작활동을 통해 양방향 상호작용을 극대화 할 수 있는 혼합현실(mixed reality) 기반 이러닝 시스템의 개발이 시도되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 혼합현실기반 이러닝 기술의 동향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 오늘날 정보의 중요성의 증가와 신속한 정보검색의 필요성에 따라 정보관리의 현대화가 요구되고 있는데 부응해 색인생산의 전산화를 기하기 위한 시스템을 활용하지 않은 전자문서의 표준화로 기술된 XML의 요소를 정보검색을 할 수 있도록 설계를 통해 일반 웹 문서가 전자문서로 서로 교환될 수 있는 그리고 색인기능을 지원하여 정보를 검색하고 기존의 텍스트와 여러 다양한 형태의 정보를 구조적으로 표현할 수 있어 웹을 통한 학습자에게 웹 문서를 쉽게 습득할 수 있도록 구조화된 문서의 표준인 XML의 요소를 이용한 교과색인 시스템을 웹에서 이루어지는 형태의 학습자료로 보다 쉽게 만들고 문서의 교환과 내용을 색인이 원활히 이루어지도록 교과색인 시스템을 구현하여 교사와 학생간의 상호 작용하는 웹 교과색인을 연구하였다.

  • This paper describes an experiment of concrete and specific group work learning system based on the traditional Jigsaw group work learning model. Jigsaw model has two groups of students such as random group and expert group so that a course can make progress on explaining and lecturing all members of class after each student can be a member of expert group of course topic. We design and implement Web-based training system to support collaboration and Interaction among students of a course based on Jigsaw model The Web- based learning system makes each group going up to the expert level of a course subject by supporting various study menu and provides equal opportunity of improving social abilities such as leadership, communication skill, trust, and trouble-settling by taking part in collaboration activities.
