Cyber Education System Based on CRM (CRM 기반의 가상 교육 시스템)

  • This paper presents the cyber education system which aims to improve the effect of cyber education that remains limited by uniform educational course being provided to all students. In this respect, a cyber English educational program has been provided to all individual students in different levels through combining CRM with WBI. The paper has analyzed the academic interest of each learner in the process of education using the algorithm that this paper proposes. Here the CRM algorithm enables the study to categorize the degree of learners interest in the process of education and utilize this in cyber education. The frame of education program based on the students' interest which is introduced in the paper is expected to contribute as one of the cyber education strategies that will increase the learners' academic interest.

  • Although academic interest, the intersection of cognition, emotion, and motivation, is a primary goal of learning and mediates the effects of learning, the present learning environment is full of impeding factors which undermine learner's interests in learning situation. The purpose of this study is to examine current state of academic interests of Korean students and to identify several potential causes of developmental declines in academic interests. It has been consistently found that academic interests in various school subjects decrease with age and grade in school. Three potentially contributing factors to the observed loss of academic interests are mainly discussed: deprived autonomy, severe competition, and normative evaluation. Based on theories on interest and motivation, and empirical findings, various prescriptions are also suggested for designing an interest-based learning environment in order to trigger and enhance learner's academic interests.

  • This study examines and measures the enhancement of intrinsic motivation in learners who have been part of the e-Learning system (www.englishbuddy.kr) for elementary-level English learning, developed based on the systematic application of the motivation theory as dictated by 'interest' and 'self-determination' and put into practice at 3,100 private tutoring institutions. According to the survey conducted on 328 learners in the e-Learning system inspired by the motivation theory and on 150 learners in other English programs, the former was found to have stimulated 'interest' and satisfied 'psychological desire' in the learners, leading to the development of 'specific strategies to motivate learners.' The study has clearly identified how learners are better motivated in the e-Learning environment, demonstrating its contributions to advancing e-Learning, building a practical e-Learning system based on a systematic motivation theory defined by 'interest' and 'self-determination,' and applying the system to some 16,000 learners at 3,100 private tutoring institutions.

  • This study utilized SPSS and AMOS program to research a process of learning satisfaction of learners, who used Ubiquitous Living English Experience Learning Center. The following results were found ; First, there was a positive correlation between learning setting and learning interest, between learning setting and learning satisfaction, between confidence and learning interest, between confidence and learning satisfaction, and between learning interest and learning satisfaction. Second, the process of the research model was meaningful in various ways: learning setting ${\rightarrow}$ confidence, learning setting ${\rightarrow}$ learning interest, learning setting ${\rightarrow}$ learning satisfaction, confidence ${\rightarrow}$ learning satisfaction, learning interest ${\rightarrow}$ learning satisfaction. Finally, learning setting had a direct influence upon learning interest and learning satisfaction.

  • 학업성취도를 결정짓는 중요한 변인 중 한 가지는 학습에 대해 학습자가 가지는 흥미이다. 따라서 보다 효과적인 로봇 프로그래밍 교육을 위해서는 학생이 로봇에 대해 가지는 흥미를 높여주는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 초등학생이 로봇에 대해 가지는 흥미를 향상시키기 위해 WeDo 2.0을 활용한 로봇 프로그래밍 교육을 실시한 후 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과, WeDo 2.0을 활용한 로봇 프로그래밍 교육이 로봇 학습에 대한 흥미와 로봇 학습에 대한 자신감 향상에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구는 WeDo 2.0 활용 로봇 프로그래밍 교육을 실시한 집단만을 대상으로 하여 진행되었으므로 통제집단과의 비교를 통해 보다 정확한 변인을 조사하는 후속 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

  • 급격한 교육 환경 변화와 정보 통신망의 보급.확대로 학교 교육의 정보통신 활용 학습 체제로의 전환이 가속화되고 있는 시대적 요청에 부응하여 가장 쉽게 인터넷에 접속할 수 있으면서, 학습자들이 흥미를 갖는 웹 기반 모듈형 교수.학습 자료를 개발하였다. 모듈형 웹 자료를 개발하고. 이를 교수.학습 활동에 적용하여 수업을 진행 한 결과 학습자들의 학습에 대한 흥미도와 학습 내용의 이해도 및 학업 성취도를 고취시켰으며, 또한 자기 주도적 탐구 학습이 가능하여 과학과 탐구 학습 수행 능력이 크게 향상되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect on the level of subject interest and interaction when supporting scaffolding considering learner characteristics in PBL. For the study, the participants were 86 college students. The research procedure was as follows. First, we divided the experimental group and the comparative group. A primary PBL was used to measure prior levels of subject interest and interaction. Secondary PBL was performed to verify treatment effect. In the second PBL, the experimental group received cognitive, metacognitive, and motivation scaffolding that reflected the learner's characteristics. The control group received random scaffolding. Subject interest and interaction were measured after the end of the second PBL. Collected data were analyzed using ANCOVA. As a result, the interest and interaction level of the experimental group was analyzed to be higher than that of the control group.

  • The core of IT Convergence Education is being made through educational SW, SW purpose of education has been focused on improving the CT(Computational Thinking). In this paper, Programming Education Using Unity3D is able to affect learners of computational thinking and learning interest. After configure the experimental and control groups and check the identity of the learner for Influence on it. The impact on the education using Unity3D computational thinking and learning interest of students was measured. This paper proposes a compliance that Programming Education Using Unity3D is an intermediate step of utilizing the EPL software training, and pure text language.

  • Web provides a rich learning environment for learners mainly due to the hypertext technology and the high interactivity. It provides a learner-centered learning environment. In this environment, students are to develop their own paths in non-sequential and flexible ways according to their needs and their demands. However, in many cases students who use this environment are easily exposed to difficulties in their choices of learning paths, disorientation, and cognitive overload in the cyberspace. Consequently, they have trouble in maintaining their motivation and interest in their learning. This study presents the design and the use of 3D-based space navigation system in order to maintain student's interest in educational web contents.

  • 현대 사회의 가장 커다란 특성들 중의 하나는 사회의 다양성과 급속한 변화에 있다. 이러한 다양한 사회의 급속한 변화에 대응하기 위해선, 초등학교에서부터 학습자들의 개인적인 특성, 인성, 수학적 흥미를 고려한 수학교육이 이루어져야 한다. 제 7차 교육과정에서 ‘수요자 중심의 교육’을 강조하는 것도 이와 같은 맥락이라 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 러시아의 초등학교(1-4학년) 수학 교육에서 다양한 학습자들의 수학적 재능과 흥미를 고려하기 위해 제시하고 있는 다양한 유형의 교육과정들을 살펴보고, 이를 통해, 우리 나라 초등학교 수학교육의 다양성 추구를 위한 몇 가지 가능성들을 제시할 것이다.
