The aims of this study were to provide a global overview of research trends in information science and to trace its changes in the main research topics over time using trends analysis. The study examined the topics of research articles published in Journal of Korean Society for Information Management between 1984 and 2009. Rather than taking a single snapshot of a given point in time, this study attempted to present a series of such pictures in order to identify trends over time. The fairly arbitrary decision was taken to divide the period under consideration into three 'publication windows': 1984-1994, 1995-2002, 2003-2009. The study revealed that the most productive areas were 'Information Service', followed by 'Information Organization', and 'Information System'. The most productive sub-areas were 'Library Service', 'User Study', 'Automatic Document Analysis', 'ILS', 'Thesaurus/Ontology', and 'Digital Library'. From the comparisons of intellectual structures of title keywords, the key research area in the field of Information Science was 'Information Retrieval'. The studies of IT applications and service system evaluation have been expanded.

The purpose of this study was to perform a content analysis on 62 domestic and international journals from 1998 to 2017, in order to review research trends in music and people with visual impairments. The framework of the content analysis was based on the year of publication, field of journal, research method, type of research, research subject, participants' age, and factors of impairment. The results showed that both domestic and international journals have rapidly increased in the last 10 years, and have expanded into the fields of education and therapy. In the research method, survey research was conducted much more frequently in domestic journals, while both qualitative and experimental research were employed on a roughly even basis in international journals. With respect to the type and subject of research, music perception and recent trends on the subject of musical interest and aptitude took up the majority of domestic journals, while international journals focused on music intervention, music perception and cognition with musical influences and experiences. The participants in both domestic and international journals were children, adolescents and adults, while the elderly were not observed. In the factors of impairment, research on people with total blindness or low vision were conducted frequently, but those with adventitious vision loss or multiple impairments were rarely performed. This study could be meaningful to suggest the direction of further studies, through the investigation of research trends in music and people with visual impairments.

This study aims to investigate Korean fashion-related research trends and knowledge structures on digital transformation through information-based approaches. Accordingly, we first identified the current status of the relevant research in Korean academic literature by year and journal; subsequently, we derived key research topics through network analysis, and then analyzed major research trends and knowledge structures by time. From 2010 to 2020, we collected 159 studies published on Korean academic platforms, cleansed data through Python 3.7, and measured centrality and network implementation through NodeXL 1.0.1. The results are as follows: first, related research has been actively conducted since 2016, mainly concentrated in clothing and art areas. Second, the online platform, AR/VR, appeared as the most frequently mentioned topic, and consumer psychological analysis, marketing strategy suggestion, and case analysis were used as the main research methods. Through clustering, major research contents for each sub-major of clothing were derived. Third, major subject by period was considered, which has, over time, changed from consumer-centered research to strategy suggestion, and design development research of platforms or services. This study contributes to enhancing insight into the fashion field on digital transformation, and can be used as a basic research to design research on related topics.

The study examined the trends of research on Meister high schools in Korea. The study also investigated differences of research interests between the university faculty and graduate students who are the future researchers in this field. A total of 56 research articles were analyzed using the network text analysis method and the content analysis. The results showed that 56% of all studies was done to reveal the distinguishable characteristics of Meister students and teachers compared to their counterpart in vocational schools. 17.6% of studies were about school curriculum, while 14.0% of studies were on school organization and operation. Only 12.3% of studies were conducted to evaluate school performance. Quantitative studies outnumbered qualitative ones. Based on the results, this study suggested implications for policies and future research on meister high school.

본 논문에서는 최근 부각되고 있는 고속전력선 통신 해외 기술개발 동향을 조사 분석하였다. 전력선 통신 모뎀 칩�V 개발은 국내업체를 비롯하여 미국, 유럽, 일본을 중심으로 활발히 진행되어 현재 표준화와 함께 상품화가 활발히 진행중이다. 미국의 Homeplug, 유럽의 PLC forum 그리고 일본의 Echonet을 중심으로 표준화가 진행되고 있으며 각 단체의 리딩컴퍼니를 중심으로 칩�V의 상품화가 완료단계에 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 해외의 표준화단체와 전력선통신 모뎀 칩�V 개발업체의 활동과 기술개발동향을 조사 분석하였다. 또한 CEBIT 2002에 출품된 제품을 중심으로 상품화 정도를 분석하고 시장동향과 앞으로의 기술개발 동향을 예측하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of adaptation research of adolescents in multicultural families and to seek future research tasks and directions. For this purpose, a total of 94 journal papers were selected and the research status, research method, research subject, and research contents were examined. The analysis results are as follows. Firstly, journal articles has been steadily appearing since the 1st edition in 2007, and has soared since 2018. As a result of examining the number of papers by journal, a total of 50 papers were found in various fields. By journal field, 37(74%) were the most in the social science field. Second, among the analysis results of the research method, 68 research surveys were found, and quantitative research analysis methods accounted for 74%. Third, as a result of analyzing the research subjects, 75 cases were studied directly for multicultural adolescents only, and 19 others studied parents, teachers (workers) or adolescents and other subjects together. Fourth, in the contents of the study, school adaptation characteristics were the most frequently(52), followed by sociocultural adaptation characteristics(37). Based on the analysis results, future research directions and tasks were discussed.

In various research fields, it is important to identify the trends and meaningful patterns in large volumes of text data. We examined the research trends and patterns in global journal articles related to aviation and airlines from 1997 to 2016 using keyword network analysis. Keyword network models were constructed, and centrality (degree and betweenness) analysis was performed using 25,959 articles from the Scopus database. The results suggested that the recent research trends in aviation and airlines could be quantitatively described through keyword network analysis. The engineering and social science fields were the most relevant fields with keywords related to aviation and airlines. In addition, it was shown that betweenness centrality increased with the degree centrality of keywords. The results of this study could be applied to establish policies and suggest further research topics in the field of aviation and airlines based on empirical data.

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data on the development and application of parent education programs and suggest the direction of future studies by analyzing the trends of research articles related to parent education programs. For this, the articles on 'parent education programs' written in Korea from 2004 to 2014 were collected and analyzed. The number of articles analyzed is 202 in total: 41 doctoral theses, 88 master's theses, and 73 academic theses. Firstly, the basic trend of research of parent education program was examined per object and subject. Secondly, the trend of research of the development and implementation of parent education programs was examined by dividing the programs on the basis of the ground for development, object of application, subject, type of program designing, the number and hours of the program, method of conducting the program, program educator, program effects. etc. The results of the analysis of the data made it possible to find out the process of development and implementation of parent education programs conducted in Korea. Such research results were summarized according to the research problems and suggestions for follow-up studies were made on its basis.

Contents related to computers in the curriculum have been presented from the 5th curriculum released in 1987. The practical education curriculum of the 2015 revised curriculum is composed of software-related content from the existing ICT-related contents. Related research needs to be preceded in order to revise the curriculum according to the times and social needs. Research on elementary school information education is mainly conducted by the Korean Society for Information Education. Therefore, in this study, based on the thesis of the Society for Information Education, the research trends of the society were analyzed by a period of change in the curriculum. Research Results The research of the society shows a change in research trends similar to the change in the curriculum. And it can be seen that the research of society precedes the change in the curriculum.
