An Analysis of Classroom Illuminance with Simulation Program end Improvement of Classroom Illumination (시뮬레이션 프로그램을 활용한 교실조도 분식 및 개선안)

  • The actual conditions of school illumination was investigated. The illumination state was classified by the number of installed luminaires per 1 classroom. The illuminance was measured and analyzed. The work surface illuminance was up to the standard, but the illuminance on blackboard was below standard when there was no local lighting. As a result of conducting a simulation based on the measurement of the reflection factors of the classroom finishing materials and lamp replacement and lamp cleaning, nine luminaires for general lighting and local lighting for the blackboard were required, and a design considering illumination maintenance was called for.

Impacts of Career Education by Vocational Cards for School Children on the Career Development of the male and female in Elementary School (초등학생용 직업카드를 활용한 진로교육이 남.여 초등학생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of career education utilizing vocational cards for school children on the career development of the male and female in elementary school who were in the career awareness stage, which was the rudimentary career development stage. The subjects in this study were 32(15 boys and 17 girls) students in one of seven fifth-grade classes in 'Angolpo' elementary school located in the city of J, South Gyeong-sang Province. Career education was provided to them by employing vocational cards for school children in six sessions for three weeks, twice a week, 40 to 45 minutes each. The major findings of the study were as follows; (l)the career education that utilized vocational cards for school children had a positive effect on developing the career development of the elementary schoolers. (2)the career education that utilized vocational cards for school children had a positive effect on developing the career development of the elementary school boys. (3)the career education that utilized vocational cards for school children had a positive effect on developing the career development of the elementary school girls. The above-mentioned findings illustrated that the career education utilizing vocational cards for school children was effective at stepping up the career development of the male and female in elementary school.

  • This study was conducted to discuss educational implications by analyzing the types of mathematical thinking that appeared in challenge math in 5th and 6th grade math teacher's guidebooks. To this end, mathematical thinking types that can be evaluated and nurtured based on teaching and learning contents were organized, a framework for analyzing mathematical thinking was devised, and mathematical thinking appearing in Challenge Math in the 5th and 6th grade math teachers' guidebooks was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, first, 'challenge mathematics' in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school in Korea consists of various problems that can guide various mathematical thinking at the stage of planning and implementation. However, it is feared that only the intended mathematical thinking will be expressed due to detailed auxiliary questions, and it is unclear whether it can cause mathematical thinking on its own. Second, it is difficult to induce various mathematical thinking at that stage because the questionnaire of the teacher's guidebooks understanding stage and the questionnaire of the reflection stage are presented very typically. Third, the teacher's guidebooks lacks an explicit explanation of mathematical thinking, and it will be necessary to supplement the explicit explanation of mathematical thinking in the future teacher's guidebooks.

  • 21세기는 정보통신매체가 주도하는 정보화 사회, 멀티미디어 시대로 우리나라에서는 지식정보사회에 필요한 인력 양성을 위해서 교육 개혁을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다. 이의 일환으로 학교에 교육용 소프트웨어를 보급하여 실제 교수 학습에서 활용하고 있는데, 그 형태가 선진 주요국에서 나타나지 않고 국내에서만 나타나는 독특한 형태이다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 국내에서 활용되고 있는 교육용 소프트웨어의 유형을 분석하고, 국내외 교육용 소프트웨어의 활용 수준을 조사한 후 실제 교수 학습에 교육용 소프트웨어를 투입하여 튜토리얼형 교육용 소프트웨어의 효과에 대해서 알아보고, 국내의 교육용 소프트웨어의 활용 방향과 향후 교육용 소프트웨어의 개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 해군에서는 소나를 이용하여 수중 표적을 효과적으로 탐색하기 위한 소나운용전술을 개발하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 효율적인 소나운용전술 개발을 위해서는 먼저 다양한 운영전술에 대한 효과도를 분석할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 시스템이 필요하다. 시뮬레이션 시스템은 해양환경 정보, 자함 정보, 소나 정보, 그리고 수중표적의 정보를 매개변수로 입력받아 운용전술에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하며, 시뮬레이션의 진행에 따른 다양한 정보를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 환경에서 수중표적에 대한 함정의 최적 탐색 전략을 평가할 수 있는 탐색효과도 분석용 시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계 개발하였다. 시뮬레이션 시스템은 다양한 형태의 해양상태를 반영할 수 있도록 소나방정식 및 탐지확률곡선을 이용하여 개발되었으며, 표적의 실제적인 행동패턴을 고려하여 여러 가지 형태의 기동 패턴을 시스템에 묘사하였다. 개발된 시스템은 앞으로 수중표적에 대한 효율적인 소나운용전술을 개발하고 발전시키는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 스크래치는 교육용 프로그래밍 언어 중 하나로 풍부한 멀티미디어 프로그래밍 환경과 쉽고 흥미로운 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다. 또한 한국어를 지원하고 있어 초등학교 학습자들의 프로그래밍 교육에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스크래치 프로그래밍을 초등학교 4학년 학생들에게 적용하여 자신에게 주어진 문제 상황을 이해하고 창의적 요소를 익히면서 문제를 해결해 나가게 된다. 이를 위해 스크래치에서 초등학생에게 적용할 수 있는 교육요소를 추출하고 관련 주제로 통합하여 실제 현장에서 사용이 가능한 스크래치 프로그래밍 교육 자료를 개발하고자 한다.

  • 최근 지능형 교육서비스로봇을 이용한 교육적 효과가 입증되면서, 유치원에 상용화가 시작되었으며, 2010년에는 초등학교 방과후 학교 영어수업을 위한 기술 개발과 필드 적용 연구가 진행되어 로봇보조학습, 즉 서비스로봇에 의한 r-Learning 패러다임의 본격적인 도래를 예고하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교육용 로봇의 개념과 종류를 정의하고, 관련 연구 동향을 살펴보았다.

Development and Evaluation of Kimchi Menus for Elementary School Food Service (초등학교 급식용 김치 메뉴 개발 및 평가)

  • Studies have shown that the preference and average consumption of kimchi among youths have been decreasing partly due to the westernization of the diet. In this study, we examined kimchi consumption status and the annual utilization of 29 kimchi menus registered in the National Education Information System (NEIS) among the students, and then developed seven kimchi menus based on the preference tests and plate waste analysis. Our findings showed that average kimchi consumption by second and fifth graders during lunch time was 19.3% and 17.3%, respectively, of the recommendation (40 g per meal) in the 2010 KDRI. Incidentally, more than 75% of elementary school dieticians answered that ten kimchi menus (31%) registered in the NEIS were never chosen by them in the previous year. The least adopted types of kimchi menu included cooked rice, porridge, stew, pancake, deep-fry and grill. The newly developed kimchi menus included kimchi sauce tofu deopbap, kimchi bacon rice ball, kimchi chicken potato stew, kimchi vegetable fried noodles, kimchi meatballs, kimchi cheese croquette and kimchi potato salad. All these kimchi food items contained 10~20 g of kimchi per serving, and the standardized recipes and nutrient analysis were provided. Kimchi cheese croquette was most liked by fourth graders followed by kimchi sauce tofu deopbap, kimchi meatball and kimchi chicken potato stew in that order. These four menus were again evaluated among second and fifth graders. The kimchi meatballs were most preferred among these groups of students with no leftover but kimchi sauce tofu deopbap was least favorable, producing 17.1% of plate waste. Finally, kimchi cheese croquette and kimchi potato salad were given the highest and lowest scores, respectively, by 87 school dieticians. The findings of this study suggest that efforts on the development of kimchi menu for school food services may help to promote a preference and consumption of kimchi among elementary school students.
