The purpose of this study is to investigate the information literacy curriculum of school library in the USA. The write, to understand the characteristics and principles of information literacy curriculum, analyzes national standards and some state curricula for information literacy education. Finally, through presenting a couple of lessons which were organized based on the information literacy curriculum, drawing out some strategies for development of information literacy curriculum for school library education in Korea.

Information literacy education is a important role of today's school libraries. So the development of information literacy curriculum and textbook is necessary to establish educational role of school libraries more firmly. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of new information literacy textbook, School Library and Information Literacy published in 2011. For this, this study investigated the status of information literacy education and instructional media in Korea, the United States and Japan. After all, this study presented the textbook's development progress, curriculum, contents and method of application.

This study is supposed to institutionalization's strategies of information literacy instruction(LAI) and library assited instruction considering national level curriculum. The School Library Instruction(SLI) is one of the tool subjects for information literacy. Therefore, the connection with school curricula Is the activation strategy of SLI. The school library Integrated curriculum is Integrating a thinking strategy of SLI and subjects of subject education curricula. The purpose of the school library Integrated curriculum is to strengthen the educational role of teacher-librarian and self-directed learning. In this study, a presented example of the school library Integrated curriculum for the 10th students is based on the cross-curriculum subjects as a strategy of connection and integration.

The types of information literacy in school library is classified into usage instruction of school library, reading education, instructional development o4 courseware with school library and integrated instruction of collaboration with school librarian and teacher. A measure of scholastic achievement on information literacy varies in each school. The cause is rely on the absence of librarians who teach information literacy and lack of understanding on the role of school library in information literacy. Nevertheless, we know that the program based on subject teacher is successful in terms of the effectiveness of the program. It demonstrate that if information literacy will be considered as important course in the curriculum for school librarian, the effectiveness of information literacy can be enhanced dramatically. For the purpose some strategies are required. In this paper, propose three strategies, which are integration of information literacy into curriculum of schools, analysis of the curriculums and a practical method for training school librarian.

학교 교육과정에서 도서관 교육은 학습 내용과 학습 방법 측면에서 방법적 지식과 사고 능력으로서의 성격을 갖는다. 즉 새로운 지식의 생산에 필요한 범교과적 학습 능력으로서의 위상을 갖는다. 문제는 이러한 성격이 교과 교육 과정은 물론 학생 일상생활과의 부단한 연계를 통해서 구현된다는 점이다. 즉 학교도서관 교육의 성공을 위해서는 학교 공동체 내에 학교 도서관 중심의 교육 공동체 구성이 필요하다. 학교도서관 정보화와 순회 사서를 포함한 비정규직 자원 봉사자 확산, 다양한 형태의 업무 대행 서비스 그리고 담당교사의 도서관 운영 연수 확대 속에서 자료 조직과 운영의 일부분은 영역 보편성을 띤지 오래되었다. 따라서 학교도서관 중심의 교육 공동체 구성은 도서관 활용수업으로 대표되는 교과의 자원기반학습과의 연계성에 기반을 두고 발전하는 추세이다. 본고에서는 필자가 개발 책임자로 참여하여 2010년 교육과학기술부와 대구광역시교육청이 공동으로 일선 학교에 보급한 사서교사와 교과교사의 협동수업용 장학 자료집의 주요 내용과 활성화 방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

In accordance with the educational paradigm that values self-directed creative education, school libraries and public libraries emphasize self-directed learning support through curriculum-linked programs as their main tasks. For self-directed learning, it is essential to provide learner-centered educational knowledge information, and there should be abundant textbook-linked references that can deepen and expand the curriculum reflected in textbooks. This study established KDC-linked information related to unit and cross-curricular learning topics through the analysis of elementary school textbooks and curriculum-linked books, restructured KDC system based on major subjects in the elementary school curriculum, and established a curriculum-linked subject information. Libraries can strengthen support for self-directed creative learning for elementary school students in an online environment by linking library content targeted for each user with elementary school education content focusing on learning topics in the curriculum.

학교도서관은 그 어느 때보다도 높은 관심 속에서 발전하고 있다. 그림에도 불구하고 학교도서관을 운영할 사서교사의 배치는 난관에 부딪혀 있다. 이에 본고에서는 도서관의 고유한 역할인 참고봉사의 기능을 학교 교육과 연계시켜 한가지 해결책을 제시한다. 도서관 업무의 꽃이라고 하는 참고봉사는 기본 2대 기능이 정보와 교육에 있다. 이중에서 교육 기능의 측면에서 어떻게 사서교사를 학교도서관에 배치할 수 있는가하는 점에 초점을 두고 이 논문을 전개한다. 또 본고에서는 국내외 정보이용 교육과정, 초ㆍ중등학교 정보와 도서관 교육과정의 구성과 기반 이론, 향후 현장 학교도서관과 학계에 미칠 교과교육학의 영향, 정보와 도서관 교육과정의 정책 방향 등에 대해 제시하였다.

Cyphert 씨는 미국 California주 Torrance통합교육구의 교과과정 자문위원이다. 학교도서관과 학습활동이 어떻게 연결되어야 할 것인가? 하는 문제는 이제 우리의 중요 관심사로 되어있거니와, 이 글은 이러한 문제에 관하여 많은 시준를 던져주고있다.
