Variations of Runoff Quantity and Quality to Landuse Changes in the Hakuicheon Watershed (학의천 유역의 토지이용변화에 대한 유출량 및 수질의 변화)

  • 근래 지속적으로 진행된 도시화 및 산업화로 인하여 이전보다 불투수 지역이 많이 증가하였고 도심지역에는 대부분 하수관거가 매설되어 있는 등 물순환이 과거에 비해 현저하게 왜곡되어 있다. 이를 올바르게 바로잡기 위해서는 과거와 현재의 수문학적 상태에 대한 정확한 이해가 우선적으로 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 안양천 유역의 지류인 학의천을 대상유역으로 선정하고 유출 수량 및 오염물질 발생량을 PCSWMM(Storm Water Management Model)과 PLOAD(Pollutant Loading)를 이용하여 모의하였다. PCSWMM은 하수관거를 포함하여 연속유출모의를 수행할 수 있으며 PLOAD는 GIS를 기반으로 하는 Screening 모형으로 토지이용별 원단위를 이용하여 소유역에서 발생하는 오염량을 추정할 수 있다. 기준년도 2002년에 대해 모든 조건은 동일한 상태에서 토지이용만 1975년, 2000년, 2016년으로 변화시켜 모의를 수행하였다. 1975년, 2000년, 2016년의 불투수 면적비는 각각 $2.6\%,\;22.8\%,\;24.1\%$이며 침투량은 1975년의 $23\%$에서 2000년과 2016년에 각각 $17.9\%와\;17.6\%$로 감소하였고, 이로 인해 지표유출량은 1975년의 $48.1\%$보다 2000년과 2016년에 각각 $55.0\%,\;55.4\%$로 증가하였다. 또한 오염물질이 유역에서 발생하여 하천으로 전달되는 유달량은 유역전체로 보면 1975년 보다 2000년에 BOD는 4.0배, COD는 3.3배, SS는 2.7배, TN은 1.3배, TP는 1.6배 증가하였다. 이러한 모의 결과는 학의천 유역에 대해 소유역별로 발생하는 연도별 유출량 및 오염물질 유달량을 정량적으로 제시하므로 유역관리방안을 도출하는데 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다.최대화하기 위한 환경관리 방안 제시에 중점을 두어 수행하였다.ncy), 환경성(environmental feasibility) 등을 정성적으로(qualitatively) 파악하여 실현가능한 대안을 선정하였다. 이렇게 선정된 대안들은 중유역별로 검토하여 효과가 있을 것으로 판단되는 대안들을 제시하는 예비타당성(Prefeasibility) 계획을 수립하였다. 이렇게 제시된 계획은 향후 과학적인 분석(세부평가방법)을 통해 대안을 평가하고 구체적인 타당성(feasibility) 계획을 수립하는데 토대가 될 것이다.{0.11R(mm)}(r^2=0.69)$로 나타났다. 이는 토양의 투수특성에 따라 강우량 증가에 비례하여 점증하는 침투수와 구분되는 현상이었다. 경사와 토양이 같은 조건에서 나지의 경우 역시 $Ro_{B10}(mm)=20.3e^{0.08R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$로 나타났다.천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로써 좋은 성적을 기대할 수 있음을 보여주었다.특히 교사들이 중요하게 인식하는 해방적 행동에 대한 목표를 강조하여 적용할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.교하여 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 HSP 환자군에서도 $IL1RN^{*}2$ a

Analysis of Hydrological Processes for Musim River Basin by Using Integrated Surface water and Groundwater Model (지표수-지하수 통합모형을 이용한 무심천 유역의 수문과정 해석)

  • Integrated modelling of surface water and groundwater has become important to satisfy the growing demands for sustainable water resources and improved water quality. In this study, the integrated model of the semi-distributed watershed model, SWA T and the fully-distributed groundwater flow model, MODFLOW is applied to Musirn river basin for the purpose of investigating its applicability to reproduce watershed-scale hydrological processes. This objective is accomplished by first demonstrating good agreement between the simulated discharge hydrographs with the measured hydrographs for the period of 2001 -2004 while simultaneously calibrating the calculated groundwater level distribution to observation wells. Next, the integrated model is used to evaluate the effect of different temporal precipitation averages on hydrodynamic processes of streamflow, percolation, recharge and groundwater discharge. Moreover, comprehensive simulations are performed to present the relationships between monthly precipitation and each hydrological component, and to analyze the temporal-spatial variability of recharge. The results show that the components are highly interrelated, and that the heterogeneity of watershed characteristics such as subbasin slope, land use, soil type causes a significant spatial variation of recharge. Overall it is concluded that the model is capable of reproducing the temporally and spatially varied surface and subsurface hydrological processes at the watershed scale.

Evaluation of Uplift Force Acting on Foundation of Underground Structure (지하구조물 하부에 작용하는 양압력 평가)

  • The uplift force acts directly on the foundation and causes a building to float to the upper ground. To examine the stability of a structure according to the uplift force, four sites (Paju, Anyang, Osan, and Gangneung) were selected, and sensors were installed on the foundations for the field tests. The rainfall characteristics were analyzed around June~September, and the changes in the water level of the adjacent river were considered. The maximum uplift force except for Gangneung did not exceed 72% of the water pressure when the groundwater level was up to the surface. On the other hand, the maximum uplift force in Osan was approximately 67%, but the reliability was slightly inferior because the difference from the average (46%) was large. The minimum uplift force was within 10% except for Anyang (~ 41%). At the Gangneung site on soft rock where the permanent drainage facility was installed before the measurement, the maximum and minimum uplift force was approximately 14% and 3.5%, respectively. Based on the measurement results, the possibility of overdesigning or underdesigning comes from the design by the hydrostatic pressure when the groundwater level is up to the surface.

Alternatives Development for Basin-wide Flood Mitigation Planning by Determining Economic Optimal Project Size (최적사업규모 결정을 통한 유역치수계획의 대안수립 방안)

  • The integrated basin-wide flood mitigation planning has a numerous individual proposals with different characteristics. So, it makes difficult to develop the optimal alternative that combines such elements. To develop the optimal alternative, it's necessary not only to assess the flood damage but also to define a tolerable degree of damage. Such a definition is made in a way, dubbed the 'social consensus' in a broad sense; but initially, it requires the analysis of the economic efficiency within a scope, which is technically achievable. This study aims to propose the alternatives development method so that the combination of the individual proposals could be economically efficient. To this end, this study defined the flood mitigation projects as the economic production activities carried out by inputs and outputs, and proposed the optimal project size as the principle of developing alternatives. This study may have the worth in improving the alternatives development method by considering the optimal project scale from the economic viewpoint while the existing method depending on engineering aspect. Such approach is expected to correspond to the current government's policy that avoids the passive flood mitigation focused on channel-wide planning but pursues the basin-wide flood mitigation planning focusing on damaged area, thereby provide efficient tools to come up with the solution.

Improvement of Public Announcement of Topographical Drawing for Linear-Type Infrastructure (선형형태 사회기반시설물의 지형도면 고시 개선방안)

  • Linear form of public works such as roads, railways and rivers, generally used as long work crossing administrative districts, can be several hundreds km length and narrow. These linear forms use SCM sheets, which do not include the quadrangle shape, to make a public announcement of topographical drawing in order to get the work approval. the Integrated measurement channel investigation and cadastral act that are established in 2009 apply the ITRF for the composition of design and construction books and coordinates of topographical map in order to get the work approval. However according to the article 5 of additional clause, while the cadastre is maintaining local coordinates, if there is a technical error in the content of the Public Announcement of Topographical Drawing that used the SCM, the question of responsibility of land borders and the efficacy or not of the announcement is raised as an administrative measure. After analysing the causes and enforcing coordinate conversion and correction taking into account linear form work's features, the result was reflected in the existing SCM. As a conclusion, the present study proposes the improvement of the procedures of the Public Announcement of Topographical Drawing.

Characteristics of Precipitates and Geochemistry of Mine and Leachate Water in Janggun Mine (장군광산 갱내수와 침출수의 지화학적 및 침전물의 특성 연구)

  • The Janggun mine (Longitude $E129^{\circ}$ 03' 40", Latitude $N36^{\circ}$ 51' 19") was once operated as an underground mine and recently significant amount of mine and leachate water has been discharged from the mine adits and tailing dumps. Mine and leachate waters are characterized by neutral to weakly basic pH values (6.81-9.59). Major cations and anions have concentrations between 6.70-129.80 mg/L of Mg, 289.29-661.02 mg/L of Ca, 4.74-14.38 mg/L of Mn and 1205.00-2448.69 mg/L of $SO{_4}^{2-}$. Brownish yellow precipitates that found in the stream bottom consist of poorly crystallized 2-line ferrihydrite ($Fe_2O_3{\cdot}0.5H_2O$. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) photographs show that brownish yellow precipitates consisted of micro-sized granular particles of about $0.1{\mu}m$ in diameter. Semi-quantitative energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) analyses show that these samples contained mainly Fe with minor Mn, Ca, Si and As.

3 Dimensional Changes of Bedrock Surface with Physical Modelling of Abrasion (마식에 의한 기반암면의 표면 변화에 대한 실험 연구)

  • Incision into bedrock channel is the primary control of landform evolution, but research into bedrock incision process stagnated for long time. Due to the scaling problem of the application of results from flume studies to bedrock channel, there is a strong need to simulate the bedrock incision process with more realistic models. As a part of investigation into controls of bedrock channel incision, three-dimensional changes of rock surface with abrasion was investigated with physical modelling. 18 rock plates were abraded with various sediment particle size and sediment load and abraded surfaces of the plates were scanned with high resolution 3-D scanner. To identify the spatial pattern of erosion of the rock plates, various methods were used. There was no synthetic or holistic method that showed all features of bedrock plate produced by abrasion, so each plate was analyzed using some available methods. Contour maps, shaded relief maps and profiles show that abrasion concentrated on the centre of plate (cross profile) and upstream and downstream edges (longitudinal profile) and eroded area extended inwards. It also found that the cracks and boundaries of forming materials easily eroded than other parts. Changing patterns of surface roughness were investigated with profiles, regression analysis and spectral analysis. Majority of plates showed decrease in small-scale roughness, but it depends on microstructures of the plates rather than general hardness or other factors. SEM inspection results supported this idea.

황토의 인흘착 성능평가

  • 우리나라의 대부분 하천과 인공댐의 경우 조류발생에 기여하는 영양염은 질소, 인 그리고 규소 등인데 특히 인이 생산제한 인자로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 인을 적절히 제거할 경우에는 조류 발생에 의한 수질의 악화와 수이용의 저해요인을 배제할 수 있어 이에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되어 왔다. 지금까지와 연구는 인의 화학적 응집 침전법, 생물학적 처리법에 대하여 수행되어 왔으나 설비자금, 운영비, 운전기술, 슬러지 생성 그리고 제거효율 등에서 만족스런 결과가 도출되지 못하여 현장 적용을 하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현실을 감안하여 우리의 자연 환경에서 쉽게 자할 수 있는 황토를 모재로하여 Al3-과 Fe3-, Ca2-을 적절히 배합하여, 주로 인을 선택적으로 제거하 고자 개발된 황토의 흡착능력 그리고 흡착 메카니즘에 대한 기본적인 연구를 하고자 (1) 등온흡착실험을 통하여 흡착용량을 평가하고 (2) 흡착제거속도를 평 가하였고 (3)파과시간 및 흡착특성을 파악하기 위해 column 흡착실험을 하였다 또한 (4) 황토내의 Al3-, Fe3-과 Ca2- 등이 인의 화학적 흡착에 기여하는 정도를 파악하여 흡착메카니즘을 규명하고자 하였다. 먼저 흡착용량실험을 위하여 PO3-4-P 농도 3ppm의 용액 200mf에 황토 0.2g, 0.5g, 1.0g, 2.0g을 각각 투여한 후 충분한 흡착평형이 일어나게 24시간 동 안 130rpm으로 $25^{\circ}C$ 등온반웅조에서 저어주어 흡착평형에 도달하면 상등액을 GF/C Filter로 여과한 후, 여액에 대해 PO3-4-P의 농도를 Ascrobic he건법으로 측정한 결파, Freundlich 등온흡착식에 의하면 K값은 17.34와 16.28이었으며 1/n 값은 1.32와 1.42로 인흡착 성능이 뛰어난 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 흡착속도 실험은 PO3-4-P 농도 1.5ppm의 용액 2f에 259의 황토를 투여하고 충분한 혼합이 일어날 수 있도록 170rpm으로 교반하면서 시간별 용액 의 농도 변화를 측정한 결과, 0.45mg/g/m교의 속도로 15분만에 94.3%의 인 제거 효율을 보였다. 셋째, 직경 12mm의 glass column에 황토를 209 채우고 1.5ppm의 PO34P 용액을 2.Sne11in의 유량으로 통수 시킨 후, 시간에 따른 농도 변화를 측정한 결과, 원수 농도의 50%에 해당하는 파과점까지 약 70시간 만에 도달하였다. 넷째, Al3-, Fe3-과 Ca2- 등이 화학적 흡착에 기여하는 정도를 파악하기 위 하여 황토 2g에 대하여 Hieltijes and Lijklema 방법에 의해 Adsorbed-p, Nonapatite inorganic-P(NAI-P), Apatite-p, Organic-P로 구분하여 분석하고, 총인(Total Phosphorus)을 Standard Methods에 따라 Persulfate digestion후 0.45 m membrane 여지 여과하여 여액에 대해 PO3-4-P의 농도를 Ascorbic Acid 법으로 측정한 결과, NAI-P가 가장 큰 비율을 차지하였고, 부원료로 첨가된 금속 양이온 중 Fe3-이온이 흡착에 기여하는 정도가 가장 큰 것으로 평가되었다.

  • As a measure to overcome the limit of small city which is weak in spontaneous competitiveness and to improve the quality of environmental, cultural and economic life of dwellers, it analyzed the geographical characteristics of city, movement path, economic status and other simple problems comprehensively and produced the vague problem solutions for dwellers and the practical direction for design using the 3D simulation rendering in order to suggest the result to change the potential for urban policy into substantial alternative. Geochang-gun selected as research area is evaluated for the place with high symbolic value of bridge in terms of environment, and the new design development for this kind of public design can be the good measure to increase the competitiveness of the city. This research is to understand the direction of the bridge recreation project which provides the cultural space connecting with other areas and improves the competitiveness of small city and to suggest the appropriate bridge design in order to provide the reasonable maintenance direction related to the future development of public design and the achievement of the symbolism of the region and to suggest the examples of public design for the urban competitiveness. For this purpose, focusing on Wicheon-stream in Geochang County, Gyeongsangnam-do selected as the research and development area for bridge design, it is to design the concept design bridge newly emphasizing the symbolism of bridge-oriented city for the development of future city.

Economic Management of River Water Quality by Utilization of Self Purification-An Environmental Resource (환경자원의 자정능력 선용을 통한 경제적 하천 수질관리)

  • The object of this study was to evaluate the management alternatives with respect to the attainable water quality and total cost(construction+O & M cost) in order to devise a reasonable water quality management system. Joong Ryang-cheon stream located Seoul, Korea was taken as the study area, and dissolved oxygen concentration as the water quality index. Water quality simulation model QUAL2E and linear programming optimization technique were used for scientific and rational analyses. It was assumed that the improvement of water quality could be obtained by the treatment of major point sources where imaginary treatment plants were constructed. And by this, the relationship between total cost of the treatment plants and the stepwise improvement of water quality was studied. The result showed that 3.5mg/l of DO(=dissolved oxygen) level at best could be attained in Joong Ryang-cheon stream during summer. When the DO standard was set 3.0mg/l in the severely polluted regions, more than 5.0mg/l of DO level can be achieved by the construction of 4 treatment plants. Also, the cost comparisons showed that the uniform treatment method is economically inefficient(\$24.8{\times}10^8$) in comparison with the least cost method(\$22.9{\times}10^8$), and there is little difference between the least cost method and the the zoned treatment method(\$23.0{\times}10^8$) that is regarded as more equitable, which shows the characteristics of this basin.
