  • 컴퓨터 전공자들의 프로그래밍 개발 중심의 팀 프로젝트 수업은 프로그래밍 개발 능력과 팀원들 간의 협업 능력을 키울 수 있는 수업으로서, 기존에는 대면수업을 통해 교수자와 학습자간 그리고 팀을 이룬 학습자들 간에 긴밀한 상호작용으로 진행되어왔다. 그러나 2020년 COVID-19의 확산으로 대부분의 대학 수업들이 비대면 방식으로 진행됨에 따라 팀 프로젝트 수업 역시 비 대면으로 운영되어야 했으며 팀 활동을 위해 다양한 온라인 커뮤니케이션 방법이 모색되어야 했다. 본 연구에서는 팀 프로젝트 수업을 기존의 대면 수업으로 운영하였을 경우와 비대면 방식으로 운영하였을 때 학습자들이 느끼는 학습 효과에 대해 비교해보고자 한다. 대면 수업과 비대면 수업에 참여했던 학습자들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 팀 프로젝트 수업을 통한 학습 이해도, 수업 흥미도, 학습자간의 소통의 원활성, 수업 참여의 적극성 그리고 전체적인 수업 만족도에 대한 설문 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 향후 포스트 코로나 시대에는 대면과 비대면의 하이브리드 커뮤니케이션 방식이 대세를 이룰 것으로 예측되고 있는 만큼 대학 수업 방식에도 변화가 필요할 것이며 본 연구는 이를 위한 기초 연구로 활용될 수 있다.

  • About 100 years after the start of mass production by American car maker Ford in 1913, the automobile industry has come to a major transformation in 100 years. In this transformation period, automakers are facing the biggest challenge of converting power sources, the basis of automobiles, from existing internal combustion engines to electric vehicles. Hybrid vehicles have been released in Japan since the late 1990s, and changes in automobile power sources have occurred early. In order to gain global leadership in hybrid vehicles, Japanese automakers and the Japanese government joined forces to promote the growth of the domestic hybrid vehicle market. The government has implemented a policy to substantially subsidize the high price of hybrid cars compared to internal combustion engine cars by providing purchase subsidies and tax benefits to buyers. Toyota has increased its line-up of hybrid cars around the Prius and has further strengthened communication with customers for the sale of hybrid vehicles. As a result of continuing these efforts for about 20 years, the percentage of Japan's hybrid vehicle market in 2022 reached 51% for passenger cars. Recently, each country has been setting and promoting aggressive goals for electric vehicles that require a wider range of physical and institutional infrastructure than hybrid vehicles. This study aims to assess the growth of electric vehicles by looking at the trend of hybrid vehicles and how they've been distributed in the Japanese market.

An Application of LTR Method in a DUOX System to Control a MDOF Structure Subjected to the Seismic Excitations (루프전달회복법(Loop Transfer Recovery: LTR)을 이용한 다자유도 DUOX 시스템의 지진동 제어)

  • Retaining large stability margin is essential in designing a feedback control system to deal with the uncertainties inherently existing in the mathematical model and the control apparatus. The LQG controller in general loses the stability margin due to the embed Kalman filter. The performance of a control system called LTR with a DUOX structure(LTR/DOUX) to overcome the demerit of LQG controller is to be investigated from the responses in both the time and the frequency domain. The results indicated that the LTR/DOUX recovered the gain margin of 30dB approximately 20 times more than that of LQG/DOUX, resulting in a robust stable control system.

  • 본 연구는 인터넷의 진화 및 이미징 디바이스 전반의 발달에 따른 디지털 카메라의 진화 전략을 다룬 논문이다. 오늘날의 카메라 기술은 하루가 다르게 발전해 나가고 있다. 수동 필름 카메라에서부터 최첨단 하이브리드(hybrid) 카메라에 이르기 까지 카메라는 끊임없이 진화해 왔으며 사용자 계층 역시 다양해지고 있다. 디지털이 적용된 디지털 카메라의 경우, 웹의 발전과 더불어 활용도가 다양해 짐에 따라서 기존에는 전문가와 비전문가 계층으로 명확하게 나뉘던 사용자 계층도 그 경계가 모호해졌으며 사용자의 수 역시 비약적으로 증가하였다. 수많은 사업자들이 디지털 카메라 시장에 진출함에 따라, 높은 성장세가 지속되던 컴팩트 카메라 (compact camera)시장은 과포화기에 접어들어 성장성이 점차 감소하는 추세에 있으며, 전문가의 영역으로 여겨졌던 DSLR 시장 역시 선발업체의 높은 진입장벽과 이를 극복하기 위한 후발업체의 지속적인 도전으로 인해 경쟁은 치열하고 이익은 내기 어려운 레드 오션(red ocean)이 되었다. 이러한 상황 속에서 디지털 카메라가 활용될 수 있는 대표적 매체인 웹 역시 '웹 2.0' 이라는 용어가 생길 정도로 발전했다. 웹2.0시대가 본격화되어 서로 다른 사용자들이 자유롭게 컨텐츠를 공유하고 누구든지 쉽게 정보의 생산에 동참할 수 있게 됨으로써 기존의 웹에서 일어나지 않았던 다양한 변화들이 생겨나게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 변화의 특징들을 살펴보기 위해 웹 2.0 시대의 대표적인 컨텐츠 공유 커뮤니티로 자리매김한 야후(Yahoo)사(社) 플리커(Flickr)의 사례를 통해 디지털 카메라 사용자들의 디지털 카메라 사용패턴을 살펴보고 이를 통해 디지털 카메라의 진화를 설명하고자 한다. 인터넷이 발전하며 디지털 카메라와 관련 되어 나타난 대표적인 변화는 일반 소비자가 진화하는 점 이라고 볼 수 있다. 컨텐츠의 공유가 자유로운 웹 플랫폼의 등장, 카메라 기술이 결합된 소형 디지털 단말기의 발전 등으로 인해 비전문가 영역에 속해있던 일반 소비자 계층에 Flickr와 같은 웹 커뮤니티에서의 활동을 통해 준전문가 계층으로 진입하려는 욕구가 생기게 되었는데, 이렇게 형성된 욕구에 따라 디지털 카메라 시장 역시 새로운 수요를 만나게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 경쟁이 치열한 시장 상황 속에서 디지털 카메라의 향후 발전 방향을 알아보기 위해 우선 디지털 카메라 기능을 나누어 본 후, 이미징 디바이스 시장과 웹의 발전 형태에 대해 분석해보았다. 이어 본 연구에서는 분류된 디지털 카메라의 기능을 바탕으로 웹 2.0 시대에 시장을 주도할 수 있는 디지털 카메라의 변화방향에 대해서 알아보았다. 본 연구는 감성적 및 이성적 측면에서 디지털 카메라의 향후 전개방향을 살펴보았다는 점에서 이론적 실무적 함의를 가지는 논문이라고 사료된다.

  • Although the effects of climate change are universal, Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are considered to be most vulnerable. SIDS heavily rely on imported oil and fossil fuels for electricity generation and transportation, which makes them economically vulnerable and exposed to fluctuating oil price. Among the reasons SIDS highly depend on diesel fuel is due to the dispersed population living in remote islands which means, providing electricity through on on-grid system is difficult. Fiji as one of the SIDS, has actively promoted renewable sourced energy through a national plan to mitigate the impacts of climate change. In order to determine how feasible implementing a renewable energy (RE) system will be in Fiji, this study chose a remote island called Mavuva Island to test application of a hybrid RE system using HOMER. A combination of energy storage system (ESS), solar photovoltaic (PV) and diesel generator turns out to be the most cost effective and optimal configuration, resulting in effective greenhouse gas reduction for the given region.

  • The maturation of the Web technology has reshaped the ways in which data are accessed, disseminated, and shared. Thanks to its popularity along with the advance of spatial information technology, four major changes have been further made in traditional geographic information systems (GIS) in relation to access to data, distribution of data, access to GIS functionality, and visualization of multimedia data. Although access to and dissemination of spatial data over the Web has in recent years been addressed in the literature, little research effort has addressed the issue of access to and processing of GIS analysis functions over the Web. This research explores the potential use of Web-based GIS in improving accessibility to distributed spatial data and spatial modeling tools. A prototype Web-based GIS developed in this study focuses on Web-based location-allocation modeling for spatial decision support, and employs a hybrid approach that uses the Arc/Info software as a GIS server and CGM viewer as a client-side plug-in. This research shows that Web-based GIS is a useful vehicle in conducting spatial modeling in the particular user community. In addition, this study represents the possibility of Web-based GIS in developing open spatial decision supporting systems.

Broadband Hybrid Antenna with Directional Radiation Pattern Utilizing Epsilon Negative Zeroth-Order Resonance (ENG 영차 공진을 이용하여 대역폭이 개선되고 지향성 방사 패턴을 갖는 하이브리드 안테나)

  • In this paper, the hybrid antenna utilizing epsilon negative zeroth-order resonance(ENG ZOR) and $TM_{010}$-mode is presented. The antenna has a directional radiation pattern and improved bandwidth. To obtain a ENG ZOR and $TM_{010}$-mode, the hybrid antenna employs the mushroom structure and the microstrip patch, respectively. Two antennas of the mushroom and the patch are coupled by gap and fed by one coaxial feed. The frequencies of ENG ZOR and of $TM_{010}$ resonance are designed to be 4 GHz and 3.9 GHz, respectively. Because two resonant frequencies are set to be close, the dual-resonance can be formed, resulting in the broader bandwidth. Even though the radiation pattern of an ENG ZOR antenna is omnidirectional, the directional radiation of a microstrip patch antenna compensates the null of omnidirectional pattern of an ENG ZOR antenna. Thus, the hybrid antenna has a directional radiation pattern. The antennas having 4, 3, and 2 unit cells of mushroom structure are designed and analyzed. The antennas have fractional bandwidths of 4.29~4.95 %, gains of 3.16~5.57 dBi, and radiation efficiencies of 62.4~94.2 %.

  • Valve leak accidents in petrochemistry plants and gas utilities cause human and property damage. The main reason why happen gas inhalation, poisoning, fire and explosion accidents is gas valve leakage. To prevent gas leakage, inspectors check the facilities in the field. And they are at risk of gas leak accidents. So we applied IoT-based risk assessment, monitoring and automatic control system. It can detect both internal and external gas leakage, do real-time monitoring of industrial valve in the plant by using hybrid sensor. As the new safety management system for industrial valve is developed, it needs method to evaluate device performance and environmental components for the system. This study is about development of method to verify performance of the explosion-proofed hybrid sensing system include gas detector and optical fiber sensor supporting wire and wireless communication.

A Study on Congestion Control for LAN Interworking in ATM Network (ATM 망에서 LAN 연동을 위한 폭주 제어에 관한 연구)

  • The CL network fer CBDS(Connectionless Broadband Data Service) defined by ITU-(International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication) consists of CL(ConnectionLess) servers which route frames and links which connect between CL user and CL server or between CL servers[1][2]. In this configuration, two kinds of congestion, CL link congestion and CL server congestion may occur. Therefore this paper has proposed the scheme that can deal with the above congestion state of LAN traffic efficiently in interworking LANs in ATM network. Proposed schemes ale link-by-link scheme and hybrid scheme. Link-by-link scheme uses the ABR feedback loops of AIM layer between CL user and CL server or between CL servers, and the header translation table carrying out the routing function of frame. And hybrid scheme is the scheme that adds end-to-end loop to link-by-link scheme and then uses RM message using CLNAP-PDU(ConnectionLess Network Access Protocol - Protocol Data Units) of CL layer. These schemes can be implemented easily because of using the ABR loop of ATM layer, end-to-end loop of CL layer, and the routing function of CL server. In this paper the characteristic and effects of two schemes in CL server bas been compared and analyzed.

  • To propagate clinical disease management service, there should be built a ecosystem where service developers, service providers, device suppliers closely cooperate for u-Health platform. However, most u-Health platform is difficult to build an effective ecosystem due to the lack of secure and effective PHR(Personal Health Record) management, the lack of personalized and intelligent service, difficulties of N-screen service. To solve these problems we suggest the CDMP(Chronic Disease Management Platform) architecture. The CDMP is a software platform that provides the core functions to develop the chronic disease management services and performs a hub function for the link and integration rbetween various services and systems. CDMP is SOA based platform that enables a provision of reusability, expansibility and it provides open API where everybody can share information, contents and services easily. CDMP supports the multi platform system foN-screen service and the self management functions via SNS. In this paper, we design and implement the CDMP including PHR service based on hybrid data model for privacy preservation. Experiment results prove the effectiveness of hybrid model-based PHR service.
