Heideggers Antisemitismus ist ja in diesem Sinne eine $tats{\ddot{a}}chliche$ $Faktizit{\ddot{a}}t$.

  • This paper aims to clarify Heidegger's concept of 'play(Spiel)'. Through Heidegger's ideas of play, we are going to present that the concept of play, as frequently argued, not only stay with playful side associated with human mental activity but also like with further perspectives. In other words, we will show the ontological meaning of the Heidegger' concept of play. First, in Heidegger's early thinking, the play appears in 'play of life' or 'play of transcendence'. In contrast, in his later thinking, the play appears in 'play-space', 'Time-play-space', 'mirror-play', 'play of silent', etc. Thus, we have tried to clarify the Heidegger's concept of play that divided as the starting point of his turn(Kehre).

  • The purpose of this thesis is to explain the difference between Heidegger's hermeneutical philosophy and Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics. The difference is to say that Heidegger's philosophy begins with Aristotle's theory of category and transcendental philosophy. On the other hand, the beginning of Gadamer's philosophical research is Plato's dialog, philosophy and Hegels dialectic. 2. Heidegger regards humanism as a variant of the modern ideal of human beings. On the contrary, Gadamer understands humanism as a place where romantism leads to the ideals of human education. 3. Heidegger says that the hermeneutical circle is still a logical and existential structure of the circle. On the contrary, Gadamer understands the circle as a circle between the whole and the part. This circle is the law of traditional hermeneutics derived from the tradition of rhetoric. 4. Heidegger says Plato's philosophy is the first beginning of the substance metaphysic, Hegel's philosophy the end of the subject metaphysic. On the contrary, Gadamer says the hermeneutical understanding and the hermeneutical interpretation is endless. 5. Heidegger's ontology is as Sein zum Tode a future oriented and eschatological. On the contrary, Gadamer's hermeneutic is as Sein zum Text always the way to a past, the infinite openness.

  • According to Heidegger, the world is disclosed in dependence on Dasein, whose existence is different for each of us. Then it is questioned how the common world can be established in spite of the individual existence of Dasein. After reviewing the preceding researches on this question, I would like to elucidate the individual and common world-disclosure based on Heidegger's lecture in 1928/29. Heidegger, in this lecture, has a vast discussion of the relationship between the common being (Mitsein) and truth. According to him, since truth is essentially communal so that it can not be privatized by individual Dasein, the space of truth encountered by a Dasein is already open to all other Dasein. The fact that the space of truth held by each of Dasein is open to all others implies a common open area that encompasses it. And this common open area is no different to the world. The world is already ontologically disclosed in common, and on the basis of this common world-disclosure, each Dasein discloses its own world according to its life history and situation.

  • In this study, I want to find the meaning of art by revealing the common points of art in two books: Heidegger's The origin of the work of art and Heejae You's An outline of art. This is maybe not only two men's view but also the very basic concept of general art. This study is divided by three main parts. First, "How are language and thought connected?" and "How could the meaning of art be considered through this concept." Heidegger insists that language is the important medium that determines thought of 'being itself', not just a way of conversation. In An outline of art, Heejae You presents similar concepts. Second is the connection between Heidegger's "Art is basically a dichtung" and An outline of art's view. Dichtung is not simply reading the meaning of text or image, but also incorporates speculation about the part without being thought. Third, Heejae You's corresponding point about Heidegger's 'das besinnliche Wissen'. The main study finding is the commonness between Eastern and Western art by comparing Heidegger's art view and Heejae You's art view, who studied the ancient China's overall literature.

A Comparative Study Concerning the Idea of 'Conscience' in Daesoon Thought and Heidegger: Focusing on the Tendency of 'Conscience' to Return to Itself

  • In this research, I define 'conscience' in Daesoon thought as the 'Restorative capability of returning to one's roots.' The notion of conscience forms a structure of separation and return, and it is connected to the ascetic aim of realizing human perfection. The conscience opens up potential possibilities and leads realization of potential possibilities by returning to the the point of origin. In the middle of separation and return, the conscience acts as the power of subjectivity possessed by human beings which is known as 'In jon (Human Nobility)' in Daesoon thought. The concept of conscience in Daesoon thought is connected with the subjectivity of In jon and free will as well as the character of subjectivity. This shares commonalities with critical thinking, modern characteristics, and the subjectivity of Heidegger's existentialism. Heidegger describes human fate from an existentialist vantage point using terms such as dasein, Geworfenheit, and Entwurf, and establishes human existence as an act of self-recovery from within in a lonely existential establishment. Daesoon thought implies that humanity is the root of ultimate reality, and this description is in sharp contrast with the thrownness (Geworfenheit) of Heidegger's subjectivity. Therefore, Daesoon thought can be seen as unique in its characterization of humanity as being connected to the root of ultimate reality, autonomy, and independent existence.
