The purpose of this study is to suggest areas for improvement of KakaoTalk. KakaoTalk is used by everyone in Korea, and even elementary school students have been using it a lot recently. Therefore, to help parents feel safe about their children using KakaoTalk, and to ensure that children are not worried about their parents when using them, I would like to examine each user's experience to pinpoint the problem. As a method of study, a survey and interview was conducted on eight parents and eight children using KakaoTalk. Through this, the parents could not trust KakaoTalk in terms of reliability when they saw their children using KakaoTalk. Based on this research, we hope to improve KakaoTalk through further research so that parents and children can use Kakao Talk safely.

The purpose of this study is to derive the differentiation and improvement measures of Kakao T through a usability evaluation centered on the service. In-depth interviews were conducted by first identifying the status of the mobility O2O service and reconfiguring the usability principles of the Honeycomb model, focusing on the functions and interfaces. First, there are problems driven from the imbalance in supply and demand as a mobility service, but it is likely to be improved through the addition of future features, carpooling. Second, problems were elicited for not recognizing the need for incorporated functions of Kakao T in the presence of existing functional-specific applications. Improvements derived based on this study are expected to help increase the convenience of users of mobility O2O services.

This study focused on IKEA Place in IKEA and Amazon AR View in Amazon to study the differences between AR shopping applications. The first literature study examined the status and prospects of the AR market and conducted a case study on AR shopping applications. In the second phase, 'Honeycomb Model' of Peter mobile was reorganized into six usability principles, focusing on the major functions of AR shopping mall application, to conduct surveys and in-depth interviews based on the task. Based on this study, it is expected to help increase AR-based application user experience, concentrating on the actual experience of the user and finding out the major experience factors.

Ned Kelly, the bushranger, is a legendary figure of special significance to the Australians of today. The Aussies' affection for this "horse thief" derives from the fact that the latter has become a national ideal of the "battler" who does not give up in the face of hardships. Peter Carey's is considered to be one of the "national narratives" that not only heroize but also give voice to the Irish rebels who fought for "fair go" in the colonial Australia. However, this paper asserts that there are more to the novel than merely paying a tribute to the national icon, especially when the novel is examined in the context of the "republic controversy." In 1999, the preceding year of the novel's publication, Australia had a national referendum on the issue of whether or not to secede from the Commonwealth. Due to the procedural manipulation of the royalist ruling party, republicanism was voted down. At the time when the majority of Australians were irate with the result of the referendum, Carey's retelling of the supposedly anti-British rebel failed to promote the lost cause. This paper investigates how the narrativization of the legendary figure, whose anti-British and anti-authoritarian attitude can be easily translated into the cause of republicanism, came to appeal to the general reading public. In so doing, this paper compares Carey's novel with the historical Kelly's two epistles: Jerilderie and Cameron Letter. This comparison brings to light what is left out in the process of Carey's narrativization of the rebel's life: the subversive militant voice of an Irish nationalist. The conclusion of this paper is that the possibility for Kelly's life to surface again in the 21st century as a sort of counter-memory is contained by Carey through its inclusion in a highly personalized domestic narrative.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze leading brands of the scooter-sharing system market of Korea, KICKGOING and Lime, in terms of user experience, and to suggest the improvement direction of the applications and scooters of those two services. The assessment was conducted in such a way that the experimental group using scooter-sharing system over a certain frequency would choose the specific service they use most frequently, and complete a questionnaire: based on the reorganized version of the Peter Morville's Honeycomb Model. Based on the results of the experiment, We drew a conclusion that the services need to add navigation features in the application, to provide more simple procedures for reporting breakdown or accident and browsing insurance information, and to improve the user and pedestrian safety levels by gamification, et cetera. We expect this study to help the fast-growing smart mobility market and scooter-sharing systems that represent the market develop into a user-centered way.

The survey was conducted on the Bungae Jangter and Danggeun Market, which provide mobile used market services. The goal is to investigate factors that affect the user experience of used market platforms and to compare usability. Based on Peter Morville's Honeycomb Model, a survey and In-depth interviews were conducted to users with experience in secondhand transactions. And we qualitatively analyze the factors that affect the user experience. As a result, there were differences in usability depending on the age of the user. (reliability, how to find things, purpose of using used trading services, etc.) This study focused on actual user experience, so it will help you find a way to develop to user-centered secondhand marketplace services.

Studies of the inactivation of a gene encoding pyruvate decarboxylase, pdc, in an ethanol-producing bacterium, Zymomonas mobilis, identified a mutant strain with 50% reduced PDC activity. To evaluate the possibility of a carbon-flux shift from an ethanol pathway toward higher value fermentation products, including pyruvate, succinate, and lactate, fermentation studies were carried out. Despite attempts to silence pdc expression in the wild-type strain ZM4 using cat-inserted pdc and pdc-deleted homologs by electroporation, the strain isolated showed partial gene activation. Fermentation experiments with the PDC mutant strain showed that the reduced expression level of PDC activity resulted in decreased rates of substrate uptake and ethanol production, together with increased pyruvate accumulation of 2.5 g l^-1 , although lactate and succinate concentrations were not significantly enhanced in these modified strains. Despite numerous attempts, no strains were isolated in which complete pdc inactivation occurred. This result indicates that the ethanol fermentation pathway of this bacterium is totally dependent on the activity of the PDC enzyme. To ensure a redox balance of intracellular NAD and NADH levels, other enzymes, such as lactate dehydrogenase for lactate, and enzymes involved in the production of succinic acid, such as pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) and malic enzymes, may be needed for their increased end-product production.

This research is to understand young children ontologically by examining features of young children in the picture books for the early childhood. For the purpose, under the consultation with a picture book specialist and three level process of selection, 4 picture books were chosen as analytic objects. The study questions is as follows. What is ontological understandings on young children throughout picture books for the early childhood? Under this purpose the books chosen were John Burningham's , David Wiesner's , Hina Back's , Peter Sis's . The books went through dramaturgical coding and were thematised based on the theories of ontological phenomenology. Study results show that young child-being appearing in the picture-books are thematised as 'multi layered being with Ntwurf and Geworfenheit(Aldo)', 'responsible being risen above greed(Plotsam)', 'reflective being on face of others(Fairy of Jangsutang)', 'being who encourages educational response of adults.(Madlenka's Dog)' These results revealed that young child-being have features not different from (multi layered aspect of being), unique from(encouraging educational response), and beyond adult-being(responsibility and response towards others). Despite several limitations, this study helped understand the young children ontologically by revealing that they, not only as developmental beings with imperfection, dependence, and immaturity but as multi layered and requesting, responsible being, having the same features as adults and, at times, rise above adult-being.

Rare earth elements fertilizer and Ca were sprayed on eight-year-old 'Fuji'/M.9 apple trees during two consecutive seasons, and fruit quality was quantified at harvest and 5-month long storing in a commercial cooling house at $4^{\circ}C$ and 80~85% RH. In the first season, single-sprayed of rare earth elements fertilizer showed appreciable accumulations of its elements (La, Pr, Gd, and Nd) in the fruit. In the following season, application of higher doses accumulated higher amount, indicating that the accumulation of rare earth elements was dose-dependent. However, rare earth elements did not affect the accumulations of Ca, Mg, and K in 'Fuji' apple fruit showed that there was no interaction between rare earth elements and these macronutrients. Double-spray of 0.2% rare earth elements increased fruit redness at harvest and had exhibited better color. Although at harvest it did not show significant effects on fruit weight, pulp firmness and titratable acidity (TA), but had pronounced effects on inhibiting fruit softness and retarded decrease of TA during storing. Furthermore, it reduced respiration rate and inhibited ethylene production during storing indicated that rare earth elements may be an alternative for prolonging the shelf life of 'Fuji'/M.9 apple fruit.

The thinning effects of lime sulfur either alone or combined with fish oil on two apple cultivars 'Fuji'/M.9 and 'Hongro'/M.9 were investigated during two consecutive seasons. Either 1% or 2% lime sulfur at full bloom decreased the amounts of both terminal and axillary fruits compared with unsprayed 'Fuji' control trees in the first year. However, 1% or 2% lime sulfur did not decrease terminal fruit set in the second year. Only, triple applications of 1% lime sulfur significantly reduced the number of terminal and axillary fruits in both years. Multiple application of 1% lime sulfur was the most effective in thinning of 'Hongro'. In the first year, double or triple applications of 1% lime sulfur was effective in thinning terminal or axillary fruit, but one time applications of 1% or 2% lime sulfur was not reduced axillary fruit in 'Hongro' apple trees. In the second season, all treatments reduced terminal or axillary fruit in 'Hongro' clusters, except single application of 1% lime sulfur. Fish oil did not always improve the thinning effects of lime sulfur in 'Fuji' or 'Hongro' apple trees. None of treatments caused significant russeting in the harvested fruits. Most of thinning treatments had little effect on 'Fuji' or 'Hongro' fruit quality in terms of fruit weight, firmness, soluble solids concentration or titratable acidity.
