The Verification Method for Missing Software Standardization in Weapon System - Focused on Firmware (무기체계 소프트웨어 규격화 누락여부 검증 방안 - 펌웨어 중심으로)

  • In the case of weapon systems used by the military, defense standards are applied for economical and efficient procurement, management, and maintenance. Defense specifications are documents describing procedures and methods for determining whether technical requirements for products and services are consistent and apply to the production of weapon systems, quality assurance, and configuration management. Software is also subject to defense specifications, and is documented and managed in the same way as other defense specifications. Sometimes it happened to be standardized without some(or all) software. In this case, a competitive contract is impossible and it may affect the quality of weapon systems because the manufacturer arbitrarily changes the software without prior approval. So, software standardization is required, but it is very difficult to verify for firmware installed in hardware. This paper proposed a verification method for g software standardization, and we expect it will contribute to the efficient production and quality assurance of weapon systems.

  • The organization and company's effort to improve software qualify contributes to the increase of software productivity and quality in some sense. However, it has not been a solution of root causes. This result is caused not because of people or technology, but process in-stitutionalization. Recently SQA (Software Quality Assurance), which provide mechanism to make sure that the software development process and products follow the assigned requirements, plan and standards, is applied to achieve the quality improvements. Several standards and models are developed for SQA activities. However, those standards and mode]s are written in form and do not provide information related to the detailed procedures, methods and outputs. Therefore, the organizations that want to adopt those models or standards have to put a lot of effort to acquire the knowledge about the models and to set up SQA Process that is tailored to meet organization's goal and objectives. In this research, we developed SQA support package to support the organization to develop their SQA process in more convenient and systematic ways. With this package, the organizations can establish SQA Process by tailoring those features necessary to reflect organization's characteristics. We expect this package contribute the organizations in a way that it reduce the effort and cost for establishing SQA process.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a quality assurance method and managerial standard through management practices and identification method of counterfeit items as measure to eradicate counterfeit items of weapon system. We have performed a study in three significant terms. First, a general study on counterfeit items. In this part, we have described the definition, cause and control need of counterfeit item. Second, management practice of foreign-purchased counterfeit items. Finally, quality assurance methods of counterfeit items. We have proposed the counterfeit items management method, building managerial standard and network, improvement of a system and strengthening quality assurance method.

  • 본 연구는 NGN QoS보증을 위해 어떤 체계 하에서 품질이 관리 되어야 하는지를 도출하기 위해서 VOIP와 멀티미디어 트래픽을 중심으로 NGN QoS 관리 프레임워크를 연구제시 한다. NGN QoS 프레임워크는 QoS 측정메트릭스, 측정구간과 측정계위, 측정도구와 측정장비, 측정방법 및 측정결과분석에 대한 일련의 프로세스와 방법론을 모델화하여 운용현장의 NGN QoS 보증활동에 적용토록 한다. 통신서비스 품질은 스스로 보장되지 않으며 끊임없이 측정되고 관리될 때에만 목표수준 확보가 가능하다. 특히 차세대통신망으로의 네트워크기술 패러다임 대 전환이 전개되고 있는 이 시기적 중요성을 감안할 때 NGN QoS 관리에 대한 연구는 앞으로 지속적으로 추진되어야할 핵심 소재이다.

  • 품질보증 활동은 제품의 품질등급을 그 규격기준에 따라 규정하고, 발주자가 지정하는 품질의 제품을 실현하는 것이지만, 압력용기 등의 특정 제품에 대해서는 공적인 제3자가 기관에 의한 검사 인증제도가 요구되는 경우가 있다. 미국에서는 압력용기 등의 규격체계는 민간 Base의 ASME Code를 중심으로 하고, 운용에 있어서의 품질보증제도는 ASME Stamp에 의한 제작공장 인증과 적검사기관을 대행하는 보험회사와의 협조에 의한 개별제품인증이 행해진다. 소위 체제 지향의 품질 관리방식을 채택하고 있다. 미국 외의 구라파제국의 이와는 상대적으로 제품지향의 제품질관리를 하였다고 할 수가 있다. 그러나 87년에 제정되어 세계적으로 확산되고 있는 ISO-9000 시리즈는 미국식의 체제지향의 품질관리로서 양자간 접근방식이 대동소이하다. 그러므로 ASME Code의 품질관리에 대하여 그 본질과 구조 및 활동 내역 등을 고찰해 보는 것은 품질관리의 시대적 조류 파악에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • Zipper manufacturing belongs to the small and medium industry. And it requires very accurate process and perfect quality control. In addition it is necessary to assure customers zipper qualify to explore new market. TQC as well as integration of existing quality control techniques for accurate and perfect processing should be implemented to assure product quality. To implement TQC zipper firms should invest in education programs for employees. Y zipper firm has succeeded in implementing the education program for TQC and Quality Circle and achieved the perfect quality control and quality assurance of products.

  • 최근 들어 시스템이나 부품에 대한 고객의 요구조건이 다양해지고 제품책임과 품질보증 등의 사회적 요구가 점차 엄격해지고 있다. 이에 기업에서는 위험을 줄이고 제품의 합리적인 정보를 얻기 위해 제품 관련 보증데이터 수집 시스템을 구축하고 분석과 예측을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 데이터 수집체계 구축에 많은 시간이 소요되고 데이터 유형에 따른 분석 방법에 익숙하지 못하여 데이터를 수집하고 분석하는 대에 어려움이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 보증데이터의 분석방법에 대한 연구 동향과 적용 현황을 조사하고, 보증데이터를 통한 효과적 분석방법과 활용방안을 모색 하고자 한다.

  • This paper is presented to prepare NGN quality assurance management process under the quality system test methodology. The process should be drawn for NGN quality measurement framework of multimedia traffic. NGN test bed management process model are QoS measurement metrics, measurement interval meter above, and measuring tools, measuring equipment, measurement methods and measurement results from a series of processes for the analysis and methodology. This model, NGN quality assurance activities should be utilized in the future. Quality target level only when themselves constantly measured and managed, does not guarantee the communication quality of service. It is sensitive to the importance of NGN network technology paradigm for research on quality management in the NGN.

  • This paper presents the methods to acquire the Safety Certificate from Independent Safety Assessment based on the IEC standard62279 which is commonly applied to railway system for Automatic Train Control(ATC) system in accordance with Urban Maglev project. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project life- cycle to accomplish and ensure the system requirements of ATC system, RAMS and S/W quality activities. Furthermore, the key tasks conducted with ISA are noted in detail. These kind of activities for software quality of ATC system to obtain S afety Certificate could be a CASE model to improve the quality of domestic railway system and products, and also contribute to the growth of railway business and toward the achievement of overseas' railway signaling markets.
