A Study on Synchronization for ATM Terminal (ATM 단말기의 동기에 관한 연구)

  • Synchronization of the clock at the ATM receiving terminal is studied. The technique analyzed here has been adapted by ITU-T as the standard for ATM timing recovery. This paper presents analysis of SRTS method itself and jitter in SRTS. The power pectrum and rms amplitude of SRTS jitter are calculated. The calculated average rms value for T1 1.544MHz source signal is 32.63ns and 0.15ns for E4 139.264MHz signal.

A Study on the Record Usage of the Internal Users of the Local Government in Seoul Metropolitan Area (수도권 기초자치단체 내부 이용자들의 기록 이용에 관한 연구)

  • This study recognized the public servants of the local governments as the principal users of the records centers. It also attempted to identify their records usage behavior and the requirements of record usage so that records and services that meet their needs as the main users would be met. Therefore, the researchers identified through an information disclosure request the highly ranked departments that use records more than the others based on their usage frequency of the records centers and the standard records management system (standard RMS) during the third quarter of 2017. A questionnaire survey was subsequently conducted to the public servants of the local governments in the metropolitan area. The questionnaire identified the users' opinion on general usage behavior, usage of standard RMS, and usage of the records center. Based on the survey results, improvements in the management of the records centers the record management system, and the record services of the local governments were suggested.

  • In this paper, we propose Total RMS(Radiation Monitoring System) for nuclear and nuclear medicine. The proposed system can expand and control Stack Monitor, Area Monitor, and Water(Liquid) Monitor into one system, and can monitor the signals measured by each radiation detector in an integrated manner. The proposed system consists of a sensor module that detects the radiation, a display unit that displays the radiation dose near the radiation detection location, an alarm unit that reports the alarm when the detected radiation dose reaches the danger level, A Main Hub for collecting and storing the contents to the remote monitoring system, and an RMS Monitoring Unit for clearly displaying the measured radiation dose at the remote site. In order to evaluate the performance of Total RMS for the proposed nuclear and nuclear medicine field, it is confirmed that the measurement uncertainty is less than 8.5% and it operates normally within ${\pm}15%$ of the international standard.

The Study on Analytical Method of Lead, Cadmium and Chromium in Copper Metal by Matrix Matching Method of Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer (유도결합 플라즈마 발광분광기의 매트릭스 보정법에 의한 구리 중납, 카드뮴 및 크롬 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Analytical results of a fixed concentration of Pb, Cd and Cr in the synthetic copper standard solution (RMs) for using the matrix no matched standard calibration curve at various wavelength by ICP showed that accuracy (140 $\sim$ 1,070% in case of Pb) is very poor at all wavelengths because of the Cu matrix effect. Analytical results of a fixed concentration of Pb, Cd and Cr in the different concentration solutions of Cu showed that found values were on the increase or decrease as the rate of a regular equation as the concentration of Cu was increased. Accuracies by the Cu matching method in the analysis of Pb, Cd and Cr in the synthetic copper standard solution (RMs) were higher than 99.9%.

Evaluation of the proficiency testing results using river water-based reference materials for heavy metal analysis (중금속분석용 하천수 매질표준물질을 이용한 숙련도 결과 평가)

  • In this study, river water-based reference materials (RMs), NIER-I08RW and NIER-I09, for trace metal analysis were prepared and certified for Pb, Cd, Cr and Cu with evaluation of uncertainties. The RMs were confirmed to be homogeneous enough to be used as proficiency testing materials since within-bottle homogenieties of the RMs were lower than 0.3 times of targeted standard deviation of proficiency testing. The RMs were distributed to environmental testing laboratories for the proficiency testing and the variation of Z scores of the proficiency testing results were compared for different assigned values. The relative bias, $B_{relative}$, deviations between reference values and consensus values, were lower than ${\pm}$1 except for cadmium of NIERI08RW. The results showed both values were in a good agreement and only 2.9% of Z scores changed by using a different assigned values such as consensus and reference values.

  • In this paper, we propose the pattern classification algorithm of recognizing wrist movements based on electromyogram(EMG) to raise the recognition rate. We consider 30 characteristics of EMG signals wirh the root mean square(RMS) and the difference absolute standard deviation value(DASDV) for the extraction of precise features from EMG signals. To get the groups of each wrist movement, we estimated 2-dimension features. On this basis, we divide each group into two parts with mean to compare and promote the recognition rate of pattern classification effectively. For the motion classification based on EMG, the k-nearest neighbor(k-NN) is used. In this paper, the recognition rate is 92.59% and 0.84% higher than the study before.

  • Cadmium Telluride (CdTe)를 이용한 박막형 태양전지 제작과 실용화에 있어 가장 큰 이슈는 대면적화에 따른 에너지 변환효율의 저하를 줄임으로써 고효율의 대면적 태양전지를 대량으로 생산하는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 태양전지 박막의 대면적 증착시 문제점 중에 하나인 불균일한 CdTe 박막의 증착을 방지하기 위한 선행연구를 진행하였다. 실험 방법으로는 Sputtering 법을 적용하여 박막 증착시 출력과 진공도에 따른 박막 두께의 표준편차와 RMS 표면 거칠기($R_{rms}$), 최고-최저점간 표면 거칠기($R_{p-v}$) 등의 거동을 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 Sputtering 공정 변수 중에 박막 두께의 표준 편차에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 변수를 조사하고, 후행 연구로 진행될 Sputtering 법을 이용하여 대면적에 균일하게 증착하는 방법에 적용하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.4 [GHz] 대역에서 1(equation omitted)2 마이크로스트림 배열 안테나를 이용한 지하철 터널내의 전파특성을 고찰하였다. 445 [m]의 터널구간에서 협대역 측정결과 LOS (Line-of-Sight)구간에 비하여 NLOS(Non-Line-of-Sight)구간에서는 수신 전력 레벨이 급격히 감소 하였으며, 10단 길이의 PN Sequence를 이용한 광대역 채널 측정에서는 Fan Beam의 평균과도지연과 RMS 지연확산이 각각 3.5736 [ns]과 11.7327 [ns]로서 원편파와 지향성 빔에 비하여 우수함을 확인하였다. 또한 전체 측정구간에 대한 평균과도지연과 RMS 지연확산의 중간값과 표준편차를 구하였고 각각의 빔에 대하여 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 학습 중 모멘트를 동적으로 조절하여 수련속도와 학습 성능을 향상시키는 동적모멘트를 제안하고 회귀방법으로 동적모멘트의 성능을 재확인한다. 제안된 학습방법은 기존의 정적모멘트와는 달리 수렴 정도에 따라 현재의 학습에 과거의 학습률을 단리 반영하는 방법으로 다른 학습법에 비해 보다 유연한 초평면을 갖으며 수렴에 이르는 시간이 오래 걸리는 KR(Kernel Relaxation)에 적용하여 그 성능을 확인한다. 본 논문에서 사용한 회귀방법은 RMS 오류율을 사용하였으며 제안된 학습방법인 동적모멘트를 SVM(support vector machine)의 순차 학습방법 중 최근 발표된 KR에 적용하여 RMS 오류율을 확인하였다. 실험의 공정성을 위해 신경망 분류기 표준평가데이터인 SONAR 데이터를 사용하였으며 실험 결과 동적모멘트를 이용한 회귀율이 정적모멘트를 이용한 방법보다 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

  • Noise evaluation for an image has been performed by root mean square (RMS) granularity, autocorrelation function (ACF), and Wiener spectrum. RMS granularity stands for standard deviation of photon data and ACF is acquired by integration of 1 D function of distance variation. Fourier transform of ACF results in noise power spectrum which is called Wiener spectrum in image quality evaluation. Wiener spectrum represents noise itself. In addition, along with MTF, it is an important factor to produce detective quantum efficiency (DQE). The proposed evaluation method using Wiener spectrum is expected to contribute to educate the concept of Wiener spectrum in educational organizations, choose the appropriate imaging detectors for clinical applications, and maintain image quality in digital imaging systems.
