전자문서교환(EDI, Electronic Data Interchange)은 기업과 기업간에 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터의 통신을 통하여 필요한 거래문서를 구조화된 형식으로 교환하여 업무를 처리하는 방식을 말한다. 그동안 EDI 표준은 북미를 중심으로 한 ANSI X.12를 시작으로, 이에 대웅되는 유럽중심의 UN/CEFACT 표준이 제정되었다. UN/CEFACT로 표준을 통합하기로 합의한 양대 표준은 또 다른 XML환경을 접하게 되었다. ISO TC154에서는 UN/CEFACT전자문서의 XML변환에 관한 논의하게 되었으나 표준으로 권고되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이런 표준간 연동의 문제를 위하여 본 논문에서는 Speaking Tag방식과 UN/CEFACT Tag방식의 두가지를 제안하며 각각에 대해 변환규칙을 제안한다.

2003년 UN이 공식 표준 언어로 XML(extensblle Markup Language)을 승인함으로써 전자거래를 위한 정보검색과 데이터 전송에 XML의 활용도가 증가하고 있으며, 전자거래의 표준으로 그 중요성이 논아지고 있다. 이처럼 XML이 광범위하게 이용됨에 따라 XML 보안과 관련된 여러 정책들이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 보안 정책들 중에서 XML 서명 기법들에 대해서 살펴보고, 이러한 XML 서명 기법에 TSP(Time Stamping Protocol)를 제공할 수 있는 효율적인 기법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 TSP가 제공된 XML 서명기법에서는 사용자의 서명이 추가된 기법으로 기존의 XML 서명 기법과 비교하여 효율적인 특성을 가진다.

KORMARC used in library bibliographic information, had been pointed several weaknesses such as inflexibility lack of link information and compatibility. In addition, a sudden increase in digital information associated with development of internet is demanding an integration of web resources metadata as the resource of library information. This study mentioned XML/KORAMARC system or adaption of XML standard format turned out to be the most efficient way to use KORMARC formats and to expand the range of those information service such as bibliographic information, factual information, referral information and full-text.

As a XML Schema has been settled to W3C as standard at May. 2001 and technologies like as XML. Xpath and NameSpace related with XML has been developing. XML is becoming the standard of the new document exchanging. Due to the ability expressing various types of documentstructure through XML, ebXML, RosettaNet, and BizTalk are using XML as a core technology in the part of e-Business, To make the task automatically in the B2B EC now, a standard XML document is needed. Internal documents in each company should be transformed differently without any loss to work with other companies. In this paper, transforming XML document based on JAVA servlet is considered as realization of a XML system to exchange documents safely.

XKMS(XML Key Management Specification), one of XML Security specification, defines the protocol for distributing and registering public keys for verifying digital signatures and enciphering XML documents of web service applications with various and complicate functions. In this paper, we propose XML Key Information protocol service model and implements reference model of protocol component based on standard specification. Also describes the analysis and security method of Key Information Service(XKIS) for Secure XML Web Service,paying attention to the features of XML based security service. This protocol component supported includes public key location by given identifier information, the binding of such keys to edentifier information. This reference model offers the security construction guideline for future domestric e-Business Frameworks.

전자상거래를 위한 XML 및 관련 표준은 기존의 표준을 개선하거나 새로운 표준이 워킹 드래프트로 제안되고 있는 등 계속적으로 발전되고 있다. XML이 전자상거래에서 표준화된 문서로써 사용됨에 따라 XML문선의 효율적인 작성과 유지관리를 위해 다양한 XML에디터들이 개발되고 있다. 하지만 기존 에디터들의 경우, XML문서의 유효성만 체크하면서 단순한 편지기능만을 제공해 주고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 실제 XML문서를 파싱하여 데이터베이스에 저장하고 자신이 원하는 쿼리(query)를 보냄으로써 그 결과를 XML문서로 변환하여 보여주는 기능을 구현하였다. 이는 전자 상거래 뿐만 아니라 동종 업계만의 전자 문서 교환에 있어 주고 받는 XML문서를 특별히 따로 처리할 필요 없이 원한다면 바로 자신의 데이터베이스로 파싱하여 넣거나, 필요한 부분을 기존의 데이터베이스에서 쿼리하여 이를 XML문서로 변환하여 주고 받는데 용이하게 이용될 수 있다.

확장성 마크업 언어인 XML은 W3C에 의해 고안된 구조화된 표준이다. 이에 SGML의 부분집합으로서 문서의 내용에 관련된 태그를 사용자가 직접 정의할 수 있다. 이런 확장성이 뛰어난 XML을 이용하여 기업간에 사용되는 EDI 문서를 표현함으로써 이기종 시스테뫄 응용프로그램간의 원활한 문서유통을 이룰 수 있다. 그러나 그런 XML 표준전자문서의 인증이나 신뢰성이 보장되지 않는다면, 전송중 문서의 조작, 도청 및 오용등가 같은 위협 때문에 그 사용이 제한될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 그러한 위협을 방지하고 XML 표준전자문서의 신뢰성 있는 전송을 보장하기 위하여 Java 기반 서명 시스템을 설계하였다. 여기서 서명은 XML 기반으로 구성되었고, 시스템은 Java 애플릿과 애플리케이션을 이용한 두 가지 경우로 설계하였다.

XML DTD is defining expression of simple form for XML document, there is much difficulties to define structure of XML document. Solving XML DTD's problem, W3C was select XML schema by standard in 2001. This paper proposes a design to XML DBMS using Relational Database based on XML schema to be selected by standard from W3C to overcome XML DBMS's shortcoming using XML DTD.

ebXML의 근간을 이루는 XML은 현재 웹에서 사용하고 있는 HTML의 한계를 극복하고, 시스템 및 소프트웨어 독립적인 문서 및 메시지의 표현이 가능하도록 World-Wide Web Consortium(W3C)에서 1998년 2월에 제정한 표준이며, 특히 XML은 서로 상이한 시스템을 연동하는데 매우 유용하기 때문에 Mircosoft의 Bizta lk Framework이나 CommerceNet의 eCo Framework XML/EDI등 B2B 전자상거래 표준에 사용되고 있다.

기존 의료정보 시스템은 본질적으로 성격이 다른 텍스트 기반 정보와 의료 영상 정보를 HL7과 DICOM이라는 각기 다른 두 표준을 기반으로 다루어 왔다. 따라서 상이한 두 표준 상호간의 정보 교환의 필요성과 최근들어 인터넷을 통한 개방 시스템으로의 전환의 필요성이 증가되면서 이를 위한 적절한 대안이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이질적인 두 표준간의 데이터 교환과 통합을 위하여 XML을 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 두 표준의 통합 DTD를 기반으로 XML 문서를 생성하고 통합 의료정보를 웹 상에서 검색, 저장할 수 있는 통합 의료정보 시스템을 구현하였다.
