  • As basic data that can systematically support and evaluate R&D activities as well as set current and future research directions by grasping specific trends in domestic academic research, I sought efficient ways to assign standardized subject categories (control keywords) to individual journal papers. To this end, I conducted various experiments on major factors affecting the performance of automatic classification, focusing on feature selection techniques, for the purpose of automatically allocating the classification categories on the National Research Foundation of Korea's Academic Research Classification Scheme to domestic journal papers. As a result, the automatic classification of domestic journal papers, which are imbalanced datasets of the real environment, showed that a fairly good level of performance can be expected using more simple classifiers, feature selection techniques, and relatively small training sets.

  • In this paper, we describe the current state of speech recognition technology and identify the basic speech recognition technology and algorithms first, and then explain the code flow of API necessary for speech recognition technology. We use the application programming interface (API) of Google, Naver, and Daum KaKao, which have the most famous search engine among the speech recognition APIs, to create a voice recognition app in the Android studio tool. Then, we perform a speech recognition experiment on people's standard words and dialects according to gender, age, and region, and then organize the recognition rates into a table. Experiments were conducted on the Gyeongsang-do, Chungcheong-do, and Jeolla-do provinces where the degree of tongues was severe. And Comparative experiments were also conducted on standardized dialects. Based on the resultant sentences, the accuracy of the sentence is checked based on spacing of words, final consonant, postposition, and words and the number of each error is represented by a number. As a result, we aim to introduce the advantages of each API according to the speech recognition rate, and to establish a basic framework for the most efficient use.

  • As social and political paradigms change, public institution tasks and structures are constantly created, integrated, or abolished. From an effective record management perspective, it is necessary to review whether the previously established record classification schemes reflect these changes and remain relevant to current tasks. However, in most institutions, the restructuring process relies on manual labor and the experiential judgment of practitioners or institutional record managers, making it difficult to reflect changes in a timely manner or comprehensively understand the overall context. To address these issues and improve the efficiency of record management, this study proposes an approach using automation and intelligence technologies to restructure the classification schemes, ensuring records are filed within an appropriate context. Furthermore, the proposed approach was applied to the target institution, its results were used as the basis for interviews with the practitioners to verify the effectiveness and limitations of the approach. It is, aiming to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the restructured record classification schemes and promote the standardization of record management.

  • Objectives : This study was to provide normative data of Korean version of DSI(K-DSI), a sensitive measure of relatively minor stressors that could be administered daily. Methods : K-DSI was administered in 524 adults, age of 19 or over, daily for 1 week. On the seventh day, Becks Depression Inventory(BDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI), and Social Readjustment Rating Scale(SRRS) were also given to test the convergent validity. Analyses(ANOVA or t-test) were conducted to examine the potential effects of demographic variables on K-DSI score. Internal consistency for reliability and Pearson's corelation coefficient with BDI, STAI, SRRS for convergent validity were computed. Percentile scores were calculated for daily and weekly K-DSI Event, Impact and I/E Ratio scores. Results : K-DSI scores in women were higher than those in men. According to age and educational level, the younger and the higher educational level the normative groups were, the higher were K-DSI scores. Among the 5 categories of the inventory, the category of cognitive stressors was highest. Internal consistency of K-DSI(Cronbach's $\alpha$) was .99. Daily and Weekly events and impacts scores were significantly correlated with the scores of State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Social Readjustment Rating Scale, and Beck Depression Inventory. 75 percentile scores of the daily/weekly Events, Impacts, and I/E ratio were 17/118 - 124, 57/368 - 389 and 3.48 - 3.49/3.47 - 3.48 respectively. And 95 percentile scores of daily/weekly Events, Impacts, and I/E ratio were 57/151- 161, 405/1038 - 1122, and 4.72 - 4.86/4.46 - 4.56 respectively. Conclusion : Reliability and validity of K-DSI were tested satisfactorily. Authors presented the normative data of K-DSI for Koreans. • Social conflicts with extremely low frequency magnetic field(ELF-MF) exposures are expected to exacerbate due to continued increase in electric power demand and construction of high voltage transmission lines(HVTL). However, in current environmental impact assessment(EIA) act, specific guidelines have not been included concretely about EIA of ELF-MF. Therefore, this study conducted a standardization study on EIA method through case analysis, field measurement, and expert consultation of the EIA for the ELF-MF near HVTL which is the main cause of exposures. The status of the EIA of the ELF-MF and the problem to be improved are derived and the EIA method which can solve it is suggested. The main contents of the study is that the physical characteristics of the ELF-MF affected by distance and powerload should be considered at all stages of EIA(survey of the current situation - Prediction of the impacts - preparation of mitigation plan ? post EIA planning). Based on this study, we also suggested the 'Measurement method for extremely low frequency magnetic field on transmission line' and 'Table for extremely low frequency magnetic field measurement record on transmission line'. The results of this study can be applied to the EIA that minimizes the damage and conflict to the construction of transmission line and derives rational measures at the present time when the human hazard to long term exposure of the ELF-MF is unclear.

  • Purpose: As the number of domestic medical institutions installing PET/CT is increasing rapidly, the transfer of PET/CT images among medical institutions is also increasing. Thus, it is necessary to collect the comparative SUV data from several medical institutions' PET/CT systems through a phantom study which semi-quantitatively compares the SUV on one bed, the change scale of the SUV on the slices, and the time of measuring. The phantom study to find differences among the SUVs from various PET/CT offers the opportunity to obtain the reliability of the SUV in PET/CT images. Materials and Methods: Ten PET/CT systems from medical institutions in Korea were used. To obtain the accurate data, the study has been using the radiation detector of Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science to verify. The internal structures of NEMA $phantom^{TM}$ were removed and Six thousand milliliters of distilled water which has 1mCi of $^{18}F$-FDG put into the phantom. The water was properly integrated with $^{18}F$-FDG using magnetic stirrer. The images were acquired at 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120-minutes for 3 minute each. Two hundred square centimeters of region of interests were placed and analyzed. To confirm the usefulness, the correction-table came out from patients' data. Results: The coefficient of variability of the SUV from -11.0 to 9.90 % fell into the range of international standards(${\pm}10%$) along with the SUV on a bed, the change scale of the SUV on the slices, and the time of measuring, except one PET/CT system. Using the data of the differences among the SUVs, we came to withdraw the correction-table ranging from 0.803 to 1.246. The correction-table was confirmed its usefulness through Linear Regression Analysis which was applied to normal cases. Conclusions: Although studies have been made on the variation of the SUV, there is little attention on the standardization of the SUV. Based on this study of the quantitatively comparable data about the SUV accommodating the correction-table, it would help to have more corrective diagnosis.

  • Vitamin $K_1$ (phylloquinone) content of commonly consumed foods in Korea were determined by solvent extraction followed by reversed-phase liquid chromatography using post-column derivatization and fluorescence detection. Samples were obtained in the years of 2013 and 2015. In this study, 46 vegetables, 14 fruits, and 6 legumes were analyzed. Relatively higher amounts of vitamin $K_1$ were found in sweet potato leaves, green kiwi, and mung beans among vegetables, fruits, and legumes, respectively. The content of vitamin $K_1$ in vegetables including spinach, broccoli, and potato ranged from non-detectable (ND) to $1,467.3{\mu}g/100g$. The content of vitamin $K_1$ in fruits ranged from ND to $42.7{\mu}g/100g$. The content of vitamin $K_1$ in legumes, including soybeans, mung beans and peas ranged from 1.7 to $63.4{\mu}g/100g$. In addition, the analytical method validation parameters including recovery, reproducibility, repeatability, peak purity, and linearity were calculated to ensure the method's validity. The results showed high linearity with a correlation coefficient of 0.9999. Overall recovery was close to 100% (n=5). This study revealed reliable vitamin K content in commonly consumed foods in Korea for a nutritional information and food composition database.

  • The present study examined whether sentence perception scores were changed under various conditions of time alteration (compression and/or expansion) and selective word stress in normal hearing listeners. Twenty young normal hearing adults (ten males) were participated. As stimuli, Korean standard-sentence list for adults (KS-SL-A) modified to semantically anomalous sentences was newly recorded by a female speaker. Seven different time-altered conditions (e.g., ${\pm}60%$, ${\pm}40%$, ${\pm}20%$, 0 %) were controlled. To see the effect of selective word stress (i.e., the emphasis of specific syllables in the sentence), all subjects were tested twice 2 weeks apart. The results showed 1) there was significantly different sentence perception scores among the different time-altered conditions, yet only in the 60 % compression condition; 2) there was no significant difference of the sentence perception scores in the effect of stress; however, there was a positive effect of the selective word stress in the sentences consisting of 6 ~ 7 syllables at the 40 % compression condition; 3) there was no significant gender difference. The pattern of results suggests that the combination of time compression and selective word stress is more effective to understand speech, instead of only using time expansion condition. However, further studies should be needed for standardization.

  • Recently, it has been issued whether the current permission standards for forest land-use conversion is adequate or not. This study was aimed at evaluating the propriety of the current permission standards using the Delphi technique, which is one of survey techniques regarding experts's opinions. The results of the survey indicated that the standards related to the connection development restriction and the height of the first berm were underrated in most of the evaluation factors. The size limit and the altitude restriction of the land-use conversion also have a low propriety or applicability due to their vagueness. In case of average slope, its applicability was rated as significantly low because there is no standardized method for estimating or verifying the average slope. A statistical analysis based on coefficient of variation and one-way ANOVA were conducted to examine whether each group of experts agree with these survey results. It is appeared that the survey using Delphi technique could successfully achieved an agreement from each group of experts. Overall, evaluation factors considered in this study seems to be effective to verify the problems of each standards and to guide to improvement of the standards.
