A Comparative Study on Attribute Recognition and Word of Mouth Intention of SNS Advertising - Focused on Facebook, Instagram, KaKaoStory and Twitter (SNS 광고의 속성인식과 구전의도 비교연구 - 페이스북, 인스타그램, 카카오스토리, 트위터를 중심으로)

  • SNS media is gaining its media share with the benefits of digital technology, such as the convenience of physical access and the entertainment and interactivity of contents, and are becoming a part of users' lives. As media contents consumers move from traditional media to SNS, marketing communication activities are rapidly adapting to leading SNS platforms such as Facebook. This study compares how users perceive four advertisement attributes in each SNS, focusing on Facebook, Instagram, Kakao Story, and Twitter, where the media content creation and consumption systems are relatively similar to each other. The impact on eWOM intention was identified. In addition, we discussed effective SNS operation.

Persuasive Effects Depending on the Type of Creative Ads in Social Media and User Sensitivity and Empathy (SNS 미디어의 크리에이티브 유형과 사용자의 민감성 및 공감적 이해에 따른 설득 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in advertising effect of visual rhetoric type of Facebook ads depending on the user sensitivity and level of empathy. The experiment was designed as a between-subjects factorial design (visual rhetoric type) × 2 (brand sensitivity) × 2 (level of empathic understanding). The results of the experiment performed to analyze the strategies of Facebook ads for ads effectiveness can be summarized as follows: a three-way interaction effect for persuasive effects was found among the type of visual rhetoric, brand sensitivity, and empathic understanding for both types of visual rhetoric. Breaking down it by type of rhetoric, no interacting effect was observed between brand sensitivity and empathic understanding levels for the visual simile ads in most of the dependent variables. For the visual metaphor ads, however, the brand sensitivity and empathic understanding levels were found to have interaction effect in all dependent variables.

Factors Influencing Consumer's Sharing Intent of Facebook Viral Advertising (소비자의 페이스북 바이럴 광고 구전의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • As online video advertising market grows, viral advertising is drawing attention. This study investigated factors influencing consumer's sharing intent of viral advertising each from four dimensions which are content, sender, consumer, and network. As a result, factors of persuasive intent, brand-ad image fit, perceived self-presentation, and bridging social capital were found to affect consumer's sharing intent of viral advertising. And persuasive intent of content was found to be negatively affect consumer's sharing intent. Social value and bonding social capital were not found to have significant influence on consumer's sharing intent of viral advertising. From the analysis of this result, this study suggested future research topic and academic/practical implications.

  • In a digital environment that is keep in change content from smart phones to tablet PC are a social network service is holding deep place in our lives. Social networking applications has building a network and communication with others than other application, it means that Social networking applications are sharing not only personal purpose in that trend of variety and competition of these social networks can be expected to trend and be developed thru analysis of user certification. this study of social network service application is proposed to developing of application thru analyze the two-effective application which is high ranked in google store. the theoretical foundation was set based on the seven elements of the social network service of the information structures designed by Jean Smith. This study proceeded analysis is for the functional elements of Facebook and Instagram, and the advantages and disadvantages through survey research. As a result of the empirical analysis to user of Instagram and face book of communication, identity, satisfaction for the group are equally. Instagram is about the presence, reputation, and Facebook has had a high level of satisfaction for each sharing and relationship. Facebook got high satisfaction from sharing features, but user feel of discomfort in the randomly showing advertising content. Instagram is not showing off advertise on common page of content, it is good point to be complementary to facebook. And, Instagram hashtag is good for convenience, but satisfaction is high with Facebook. in order to increase the satisfaction of Instagram, it is necessary to consider the main advantage of the communication and the functional aspects of the share from facebook.

Advertising effects of tendency of Facebook user's writing 'comment' and the number of 'like' in posting (페이스북 사용자의 '댓글'반응경향과 게시글의 '좋아요' 수가 광고효과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explored how the tendency of writing 'comment' by Facebook users and the number of 'like' in posting message affected to product attitude, purchasing intention. One hundred thirty five male and female college students were divided into groups with high/low tendency of writing 'comment'. The subjects had to read posting message about athlete shoes on Facebook's newsfeed, different from the conditions under which the 'like' in the posting was high and low. Then, they were responded product attitude and the intention of purchasing. The results of two-way ANOVA showed that the users with low tendency of writing 'comment' displayed more positive product attitude and higher willingness to purchase under condition with a high 'like' number of posting than under condition with a low 'like' number of it.

  • This study is an application of facebook (FB) as a strategic communication of viral marketing. Old fashioned advertising and public relation in facebook are not effective at social network service(SNS) environment, and a different marketing communication is needed because facebook is essentially oriented for building relationship among people. The study assumes that an opinion leader might exist at facebook and tries to find out how facebook users show a pattern of communication based on level of opinion leadership regarding a product. The findings showed that people with high opinion leadership communicated more actively than people with low opinion leadership. This study will contribute to segment seed consumers using opinion leadership in facebook.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 온라인 방송으로 신규 창업점포를 광고 또는 임의 노출했을 때, 시청자들에게 미치는 영향을 측정하고 효율적인 광고를 하면서도 창업점포주들의 만족도를 높이기 위한 영향력을 미치는 변인과 효과적인 매체를 분석하고 조사하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 온라인 방송의 여러 매체들간 독립변인들과 대조군을 노출시켜, 이로 나타나는 결과 값들을 비교 분석하는 실험연구를 통해, 효과적인 방송 광고 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 매출 상승 효과를 높이기 위해, 방송중 주목, 흥미, 기억, 용인 등의 요인을 적용하여, 긍정적인 분위기로 시청자들의 창업점포를 각인시키고자 한다. 이를 통해, 온라인 방송으로 신규 창업점포를 광고 또는 임의 노출했을 때, 시청자들에게 미치는 영향을 측정하고 효율적인 광고를 하면서도 창업점포주들의 만족도를 높이기 위한 영향력을 미치는 변인과 효과적인 매체를 분석하고 조사하고자 한다. 실험연구 진행방법으로는 매주 금요일 JBS 방송, 페이스북, 유투브에 노출시켜 점포 매출 전*후를 조사하여 온라인 방송이 매출의 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 한다. 또한 매출에 영향이 미친다면 창업학도로서 큰 의미가 될 것으로 보여 논문 연구 진행중으로, 창업컨설턴트들에게 의미있는 연구를 진행할 것이다.

Advertising effects depending on picture types of the sights and Facebook user's public self-consciousness (페이스북 포스트의 여행지 사진유형과 사용자의 공적자기의식(public self-consciousness)에 따른 광고효과)

  • This study investigated what type of destination image on Facebook increases positive attitude towards the destination and desire to travel. More specifically, we hypothesized that Facebook user's public self-consciousness will moderate the advertising effect, so we tested the difference in attitude towards the destination and willingness to visit and recommend based on the type of destination image (presence/absence of a tourist in the image) and user's public self-consciousness (high/low). As a result, when a tourist was present in the photo, positive attitude toward destination was higher than when absent. In addition, the high public self-consciousness group showed greater attitude toward destination and higher willingness to visit and recommend than low public self-consciousness group when a tourist was present in the image. However, the low public self-consciousness group showed no difference depending on the presence of a tourist. This research not only is academically significant as it experimentally tested advertising effect depending on type of destination image and Facebook user's public self-consciousness, but also holds practical significance as it suggests advertisement method to consider consumer's predisposition.

A Study on the Effect of Hospital Advertising by Advertising Creative Strategy (병원광고의 크리에이티브 전략에 따른 광고 효과 연구)

  • This study analyzes the effect of SNS Advertising Creative Strategy of Hospital. The research was conducted by two-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis to analyze the effect of Advertising Creative Strategy, consist of message framing, appeal, and advertising models, on CTR (Click Through Rate). The data used in this research was the actual advertisement results impressed from 2018 to the beginning of 2023 through multiple SNS channel (Kakaotalk Channel, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook) by a liposuction specialized network hospital with 20 branches in Korea. As a result of this study, different SNS Channel effects on CTR and among 'Message Framing (Positive, Negative)', 'Message Appeal (Rational, Emotional)' and 'Advertisement Models (Character, Ordinary, Professional)', only Advertisement Models had a significant effect on CTR. The result of this study is significant in the point that it analyzed the actual SNS advertisements of hospital and adopted CTR to measure the effect of advertising. Based on those findings, theoretical and practical implications, limitations of this study, and directions for further research were suggested.
