미국 미시간주에 본사를 두고 전 세계 1백68개국에 공장과 사업지사를 두고 있는 세계적 굴지의 화학회사 Dow케미컬은 21세기를 맞아 새로운 변신을 시도하고 있다. Dow케미컬은 경제성장ㆍ환경보전ㆍ사회적 책임 등 3대 전략과 과제를 담아 '퍼블릭 리포트 1999'라는 보고서를 발표하여 회사를 투명하게 일반에게 공개했다. 1970년 한국에도 진출한 Dow 케미컬은 3만9천명의 사원을 거느리고 각종 화학, 플라스틱, 농학제품을 개발ㆍ생산하고 있다.

최근 몇 년 사이 공사현장의 미관 개선을 위하여 단순 기능적인 요소로 인식되었던 공사장 펜스에 공공디자인을 통한 환경그래픽을 적용 하는 사례가 빈번해지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 2010년 동서대 퍼블릭디자인 앤 라이팅연구소가 싱가포르 도시철도 공사현장의 펜스에 적용한 디자인프로젝트에 관한 연구이다.

하이브리드 클라우드는 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 구축모델 중 하나로, 일부 IT 리소스는 내부 프라이빗 클라우드를 통해 서비스로 제공하고 일부는 타사 서비스 공급업체가 퍼블릭 클라우드에서 제공하는 방식을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 기업이 이러한 하이브리드 클라우드 기술을 어떠한 방식으로 제공하고 활용하는지에 대해서 기술할 것이며, 클라우드 보안 관련 동향에 대해서도 기술한다.

조선일보사, 디지틀조선일보, 교육인적자원부, 미디어라이브인터내셔널이 주최한‘디지털 라이프 2004(Digital Life 2004)’가 지난달 19일 성황리에 막을 내렸다. 기존‘컴덱스 코리아 2004’에서‘디지털 라이프 2004’라는 새로운 이름으로 펼쳐진 이번 행사는 IT기업관, e러닝 특별관, eSports관-서울게임쇼 등 세가지 테마로 구성됐으며, 예년과 달리 비즈니스데이와 퍼블릭데이로 각각 이틀씩 나눠 진행돼 일반인들도 가까이 다가설 수 있었다.

향후 변화될 해양 4차 산업시대에 대응하고 상호 정보 공유를 위해 외부 시스템과 연계할 수 있는 기반환경 마련이 필요한 바 관제센터에서 수집되는 정보를 활용하기 위해서는 관제정보 관리 및 공유 체계가 필요하다. 하지만 정보의 보존 기간이 짧고 접근에 제약이 많아 기술개발에 활용될 관제 정보의 빅데이터화가 어렵다. 또한 정보를 관제 센터 내 독립적으로 보관하고 있어 연구 개발 목적의 접근이 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 민간 클라우드를 활용한 관제 정보 관리 및 공유 체계 방안을 살펴보았다.

In this paper, we propose an access control system using cryptography as a method to protect personal data in public blockchain. The proposed system is designed to encrypt data according to the access policy, store it in the blockchain, and decrypt only the person who satisfy the access policy. In order to improve performance and scalability, an encryption mechanism is implemented outside the blockchain. Therefore, data access performance could be preserved while cryptographic operations executed Furthermore it can also improve the scalability by adding new access control modules while preserving the current configuration of blockchain network. The encryption scheme is based on the attribute-based encryption (ABE). However, unlike the traditional ABE, the "retention period", is incorporated into the access structure to ensure the right to be forgotten. In addition, symmetric key cryptograpic algorithms are used for the performance of ABE. We implemented the proposed system in a public blockchain and conducted the performance evaluation.

Various works of art in a convergent form using new media technology Reflecting the attempted trend, this paper examines the footsteps of public art and Looking at the examples of works using new media art as an expression method of public art works, I suggest vr drawing as a new tool for public media art. The drawing performance using the vr drawing tool and the case of the vr realistic performance scarecrow, The vr drawing tool can infer the possibility of practical application as a new expression method of public art. This study uses a vr drawing tool among new media technologies in the future. It is believed that it will be a prior study that will help prospective creators. In addition, compared to the media status in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, art and If you think and analyze the future value of technology, I think it will be a meaningful study.

Most of logistics system has difficulties in transportation logistics tracking due to problems in real world such as discordance between logistics information and logistics flow. For the solution to these problems, through case study about corporation, suppliers that transport order items in shopping mall, we retain traceability of order items through accordance between logistics and information flow and derive transportation logistics tracking model. Through literature review, we selected permissioned public block chain model as reference model which is suitable for transportation logistics tracking model. We compared, analyzed and evaluated using centralized model and block chain as application model for transportation logistics tracking model. In this paper we proposed transportation logistics tracking model which integrated with logistics system in real world. It can be utilized for tracking and detection model and also as a tool for marketing.

블록체인의 특징인 신뢰성, 보안성, 투명성, 탈중앙성을 지지하는 합의 알고리즘을 환경과 목표에 따라 적절하게 선택하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 합의 알고리즘에 대한 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해 블록체인을 참여 대상에 따라 퍼블릭 블록체인과 프라이빗 블록체인으로 나누어 설명하였고 체인 유지 방식에 따라 경쟁 방식 합의 알고리즘과 비경쟁 방식 합의 알고리즘으로 나누어 설명하였으며, 이를 위해 다섯가지 합의 알고리즘의 원리와 장단점 등을 분석하였다. 그리고 분석 결과를 바탕으로 참여 대상과 체인 유지 방식간의 관계와 신뢰모델과 중앙화, 속도, 보안성간의 관계를 도출해내었다. 향후에는 현재의 여러 합의 알고리즘 원리와 장단점을 발전 및 보완하여 환경과 목적에 따라 속도가 빠르고 보안적으로 안전하며 일관된 블록체인을 유지하는 합의 알고리즘을 개발할 수 있을 것이다.

뉴욕공공도서관(The New York Public Library)은 전문분야로 특화된 대학원 수준의 4개의 연구도서관과 85개의 지역분관을 가리키는 복합관의 총칭이다. 뉴욕시는 인구 800만의 5개의 행정구역으로 이루어지는데, 뉴욕공공도서관은 맨해튼, 브롱크스, 스태튼섬의 3개지구 330만명을 서비스 대상으로 하고, 나머지 2개 지구를 브루클린공공도서관, 퀸즈공공도서관이 관할한다. 연간 예산은 2억8천만달러에 달하며, 2003년의 통계에 따르면 방문이용자가 150만명, 홈페이지 이용자도 1,000만명에 이른다고 한다. 놀라운 것은 운영이나 규모면에서 세계 제일로 손꼽히면서도 공립(公立)이 아니라 비영리민간단체(NPO)가 운영하는 공공(公共) 도서관이라는 것이다. 뉴욕공공도서관은 설립부터 독지가들이 기부 등을 통해 도서관 활동에 깊이 관여하면서 행정과의 독특한 협력관계를 발전시켜왔다. 이러한 전통에 의거한 퍼블릭 프라이빗 파트너십(Public Private Partnership)은 뉴욕공공도서관의 핵심으로 보다 풍부한 서비스의 제공을 가능하게 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라와 달리 예산확보를 위한 경비가 일정부분 상정되고 있는 뉴욕공공도서관의 자금조달 비즈니스 모델에 대한분석에 중점을 두었다.
