DS-CDMA system requeires a power-efficient transmission and reception scheme to increase capacity. In this paper, coherent detection of DS-CDMA system with M-ary orthogonal signaling is considered, and multistage decision-directed channel estimator is proposed. The multistage decision-directed channel estimator is based on the fact that better channel estimation can be obtained by using the final decisions of the detector with a conventional decision-directed channel estimator. In this scheme, symbol detector and channel estimator operate algernaely. by simulation, it is shown that the proposed method achieves performance gain capare to conventional method, specially at low signal to noise ratio over fast time-variant channel with diversity.

A potential advantage of computer-based education is individualized instruction. In this regard, issues regarding how to evaluate individual learners fast and accurately in order to implement customized instruction program and to open education are raised. In this study, we suggest through a simulation study a way to reach an optimal decision by complementing the insufficient point of the way of the decision of the existing SPRT(Sequential Probability Ratio Testing) in which the number of questions in a test decreases while decision on pass or fail is relatively exact. For the purpose, the data of the examinees obtained from actual tests were used in this study and we present that simulation to verify the accuracy of decision and Multilevel SPRT decision standard for initial set point for optimal SPRT decision and evaluate the ground of the same through simulation.

꿀에 대한 소비자 신뢰 확보를 위한 공공기관에서의 꿀 등급제 도입 요구에 따라 축산물품질평가원에서는 '13. 12. 30(월)부터 "꿀 등급판정 시범사업"을 실시하고 있다. 시범사업 기간은 1년('13. 12. 30~'13. 12. 31)으로 양봉농가, 시행업체, 검사기관으로 연결되는 일련의 과정과 검사결과를 전산프로그램으로 연계하여 등급판정 신청부터 출고까지의 전(全) 단계를 축평원이 확인 관리한다. 또한, 등급판정 받은 꿀 제품은 생산이력 적용으로 소비자가 직접 스마트폰을 활용하여 꿀에 대한 정보를 확인할 수 있다.

하자 여부를 판정할 정부의 매뉴얼이 신설되고 분쟁조정 실무를 전담처리할 사무국도 출범하여, 진단기관별로 제각각인 공동주택의 하자 판정이 공정해지고 분쟁조정 속도도 빨라질 전망이다. 국토해양부는 지난 10월 18일 정창수 제1차관과 하자심사분쟁조정위원, 사무국 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 하자분쟁조정위원회 사무국 개소식을 개최하고 본격적인 분쟁조정 업무 추진에 들어갔다. 국토부는 또 객관적이고 실효성 있는 하자분쟁조정을 위해 하자판정 기준 매뉴얼을 마련하고 각계의 의견수렴을 위해 지난 10월 18일 한국과학기술회관에서 전문가와 주택업계, 입주자 등이 참여한 가운데 공청회를 개최했다.

화재가 발생하면 소방과 경찰기관 등에서 화재원인과 관련된 조사를 하여 조사보고서를 작성하고 있고, 화재와 관련된 법적분쟁 등이 발생한 경우에 이 조사보고서는 법적분쟁을 해결하는데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 법적분쟁에서 가장 핵심적인 부분은 발화개소와 발화원인(화재원인)인 경우가 많으므로 조사보고서의 발화개소와 발화원인 판정에 오류가 있어서는 안 된다. 발화개소와 발화원인 판정에 오류가 있는 경우 불필요한 분쟁초래 등 심각한 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 화재조사관련 전문지식 부족으로 인해 화재원인판정에 오류가 있었던 사례에 대해 구체적으로 분석하고, 유사 오류를 예방하기 위한 유의사항을 제시한다.

본 연구는 부품업체가 갖는 고유의 사업에 대한 특성분석을 통하여 방대한 부품개발과제들에 적합한 성공판정모형을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 전자부품업체를 대상으로 전문가에 대한 인터뷰조사와 설문 조사의 분석결과를 토대로 부품개발과제의 유형화를 시도하였고, 이에 따른 부품개발과제의 유형별 성공판정모형을 구축하였다. 본 연구의 모형 및 결과는 개발과제에 대한 합리적인 성패판정 기준 내지는 모형의 구축을 갈구하는 우리나라의 기술기업들에게 하나의 유용한 틀을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Based on the landslide hazard scoring system of Korea Forest Research Institute, a GIS model for predicting landslide hazards was developed. The risk of landslide hazards was analyzed as the function of 7 environmental site factors for the terrain, vegetation, and geological characteristics of the corresponding forest stand sites. Among the environmental factors, slope distance, relative height and shapes of slopes were interpreted using the forestland slope interpretation module developed by Chung et al. (2002). The program consists of three modules for managing spatial data, analyzing landslide hazard and report-writing, A performance test of the model showed that 72% of the total landslides in Youngin-Ansung landslides area took place in the highly vulnerable zones of grade 1 or 2 of the landslide hazard scoring map.

The objective of this study was to develop a new method for estimating gas interchangeability for 13A gas appliances. The three basic principles for the development of this method are as follows: 1) to derive the secondary interchangeability factor that represents the effect of gas composition, in addition to the major interchangeability factor, i.e., Wobbe index; 2) to test every type of and each maker's domestic gas appliances that are widely used in our country, particularly including premixed gas appliances; and 3) to develop a simple estimation method. On the basis of these principles, thirty representative gas appliances were tested, and as a result, a simple two-dimensional interchangeability diagram consisting of Wobbe index and relative density was developed. Unlike conventional methods for estimating interchangeability, this method can be applied to premixed gas appliances, which have a narrow stable flame range, and the interchangeability range of this method then becomes narrower than that of the conventional methods.

Cracks, which account for the largest proportion of defect lawsuits in apartment buildings, are not clear on the criteria for defect determination, so judgments about defects are mixed. Interlayer cracks, which account for most of the crack defect judgment amount, tend to be judged as defects regardless of the crack width or condition, and repair methods are mostly set uniformly. This starts from the problem that the standards of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Construction Appraisal Practice, which the courts use as standards, do not match. It is necessary to establish a defect determination standard that can be applied to all stakeholders through the amendment of laws and the revision of the Court Appraisal Practice. In addition, it is necessary to apply the crack repair method according to the width and condition of the interlayer crack. If the defect determination and the application of the repair method for cracks are rationalized, it could serve as an opportunity to change the current trend of defect disputes that rely only on litigation.
