Effects of AI Speaker Users' Usage Motivations and Perception of Relationship Type with AI Speaker on Enjoyment (AI 스피커 이용자의 이용동기 및 AI 스피커에 대한 관계 유형 인식이 즐거움에 미치는 영향)

  • Artificial intelligent (AI) smart speaker sales have increased rapidly, and AI technology has become more pervasive in our daily lives. This study explored motivations for smart speaker use and examined how motivation and relationship type with AI speakers affect enjoyment. Smart speaker use is primarily motivated by conversational, trend-leading, efficient, and entertaining factors. Among these four, trend-leading, efficient, and entertaining factors positively influenced users' enjoyment. However, among the three types of relationship with AI speakers, only the assistant/helper type affected enjoyment. The results of the current study provide practical implications for future directions in AI speaker interaction design.

Effect of Economic Analysis an Introduction HSDI Diesel Passenger Cars (HSDI 경유승용차 도입의 경제적 효과분석)

  • This paper aims at evaluating HSDI diesel passenger cars introduction. The result of economic analysis after accounting for the life cycle cost per car shows a saving of 13,836 thousand won in fuel cost per diesel car assuming a life of 10 years and the annual travel distance of 20,000km. Assuming an average travel distance of 20,000km and a 10% increase in sales of diesel passenger car, the social benefit starts to accrue from the year 2002 and, in 2010, is estimated to be 154.1 billion won relative to the gasoline passenger car. The cumulative social benefit up to 2010 under the same assumptions is expected to reach 636.8 billion won.

  • Today, research is actively being conducted to derive meaningful results from big data. In this paper, we propose a partition-based big data analysis algorithm that can analyze the correlation between variables by setting the data areas of big data as partitions and calculating the representative values of each partition. In this paper, the analyzed visualization results are compared according to the partition size of a proposed partition-based big data analysis (PBDA) algorithm that can control the size of the partition. In order to verify the proposed PBDA algorithm, the big data of 'A' is analyzed, and meaningful results are obtained through the analysis of changes in sales volume of products according to changes in temperature and sales price.

  • Environmental problems were related to human life from second industrial revolution. Recently, peoples are interested in solving global warming problem and improving air quality. Therefore, we request for eco-friendly vehicles such as fuel cell electric vehicles using eco-friendly hydrogen energy. In order to reduce particulate matter in Korea, we have established a plan to promote the deployment of eco-friendly vehicles. In this paper, we analyzed the average monthly charging status and hydrogen consumption by introducing fuel cell bus.

  • 본 연구에서는 명절이 소비자들의 제품 교체주기에 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하기 위해 중국 온라인 휴대폰 판매 데이터를 바탕으로 명절 시기별 구매간격 차이검증을 통해 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 명절시점과 평상시점 간에 제품 구매간격의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 명절시점이 평상시점보다 제품 교체주기가 짧은 것으로 나타나 명절효과가 있음을 증명하였다. 한편, 춘절, 노동절, 국경절 등 명절유형 간 제품 구매간격의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 이는 기업이 명절시점을 활용하여 교체 가능성이 높은 소비자를 선별적으로 공략한다면 더 높은 성과를 얻을 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구의 결과는 실무적으로 볼 때 기업으로 하여금 교체확률이 높은 시기에 마케팅을 집중할 수 있도록 할 수 있을 것이며, 학술적으로는 제품 구매 간격에 영향을 미치는 구매시점 효과 중 명절효과를 온라인상의 고관여 제품에 적용하여 탐구했다는 공헌점이 있다.

Sales Forecasting Model for Apparel Products Using Machine Learning Technique - A Case Study on Forecasting Outerwear Items - (머신 러닝을 활용한 의류제품의 판매량 예측 모델 - 아우터웨어 품목을 중심으로 -)

  • Sales forecasting is crucial for many retail operations. For apparel retailers, accurate sales forecast for the next season is critical to properly manage inventory and plan their supply chains. The challenge in this increases because apparel products are always new for the next season, have numerous variations, short life cycles, long lead times, and seasonal trends. In this study, a sales forecasting model is proposed for apparel products using machine learning techniques. The sales data pertaining to outerwear items for four years were collected from a Korean sports brand and filtered with outliers. Subsequently, the data were standardized by removing the effects of exogenous variables. The sales patterns of outerwear items were clustered by applying K-means clustering, and outerwear attributes associated with the specific sales-pattern type were determined by using a decision tree classifier. Six types of sales pattern clusters were derived and classified using a hybrid model of clustering and decision tree algorithm, and finally, the relationship between outerwear attributes and sales patterns was revealed. Each sales pattern can be used to predict stock-keeping-unit-level sales based on item attributes.

  • 콘솔 및 PC 게임이 모바일 플랫폼으로 진출하는 경우 기존에 출시했던 플랫폼과 다르게 모바일 플랫폼에 맞는 조작, UI, 과금 정책 등의 다양한 부분을 고려할 필요가 있다. 모바일 플랫폼의 화면 크기 조작의 한계를 반영해 전투, 퀘스트 진행, 파티 조합, 장비 장착, 캐릭터 육성 등 게임 플레이 전반의 자동 시스템을 구축해 유저에게 조작 편의성을 제공할 필요가 있다. 또한 기존의 유료화 게임 형태의 판매 전략에서 부분 유료화의 전환에 따른 기존의 유저가 느낄 수 있는 과금 거부감을 해소하기 위해 시즌 패스, 월정액 시스템 등을 도입해 소 과금으로 유저들에게 게임 내에서 만족감을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 게임의 일회적인 판매량이 매출에 영향을 주는 것과 다르게 주기적인 유저들의 접속(DAU, MAU)에 따른 과금 정도가 매출 및 게임 순위 등에 영향을 주게 된다. 따라서 꾸준한 업데이트와 이벤트 제공을 통해 기존 유저들이 장기적으로 게임에 접속하도록 유도하고, 신규 유저들이 게임에 유입될 수 있도록 하는 과정과 같은 발전 방안을 제시해 본다.

  • Estimating the Bass diffusion model often creates a time-interval bias, which leads the OLS approach to overestimate sales at early stages and underestimate sales after the peak. Further, a specification error from omitted variables might raise serial correlations among residuals when marketing actions are not incorporated into the diffusion model. Autocorrelated disturbances may yield unbiased but inefficient estimation, and therefore invalid inference results. This phenomenon warrants a modified approach to estimating the Bass diffusion model. In this paper, the authors propose a modified Bass diffusion model handling autocorrelated disturbances. To validate the new approach, authors applied the method on two different data-sets: CT Scanners in the U.S, and FPD TV sales in Korea. The results showed improved model fit and the validity of the proposed model.

  • In this paper, we proposed the clothing management system using the smart hanger. Proposed system consists of smart hanger, base module, and server, and the smart hanger consists of MCU, LED, RFID reader, RF chip, ring sensor, and battery. The smart hanger reads the RFID tag attached to the clothes and wirelessly transmitted to the server. The server associated base module communicates with the smart hanger and transmits information to the server. The server manages clothing through the DB, and can display various information through the web page and the smart phone. In order to verify the usefulness of the proposed system, we did experiment with the management system for clothing store and laundry where using a lot of hangers. Performance tests of the smart hanger are applied to check the current consumption and can be predicted the battery life with the proposed low power algorithm. The clothing store management system can be increased sales and convenience of the consumer. The laundry management system can be increased the efficiency of laundry category and convenience of the consumer.

  • With universality of e-commerce through internet, smaller online shopping malls are increased. A Smaller online shopping mall by nature lacks an extra space to load many inventory quantities. Therefore, it is difficult to response immediately with client request with traditional inventory management method. VMI has a character that supplier can control volume of inventory according to sales of seller. This paper proposes SOHO-VMI that is applied VMI into smaller online shopping mall. Proposed SOHO-VMI supports M $\times$ N structure can interact with multiple suppliers and sellers. And it uses XML/EDI for interaction with EDI documents use to legacy system. Also, This paper proposes logistics statistic prediction algorithm can adjust production and distribution volumes to supplier considering seller's product distribution information and seasonal factor.
