A One-Gap Parsing with Extended PLR(1) Grammars (확장된 PLR(1) 문법에 대한 단일 틈 파싱)

  • Gap parsing is an algorithm for parsing incomplete input strings which include some gaps. Gap parsing is different from conventional parsing, and as known results, one-gap parsing algorithms for arbitrary context-free grammar and LL(1) grammar have $O(n^3)$ and $O(n^2)$ time complexity, respectively. This paper presents a one-gap parsing algorithm for extended PLR(1) grammars. Extended PLR(1) grammars are the class of grammars smaller than LR(1) but much larger than LL(1). The one-gap parsing algorithm of the grammar class is shown to have the time complexity of $O(n^2)$, which is equal to the complexity of one-gap parsing algorithms for LL(1) grammars.

Added Mass of Regular Polygonal Cylinders with Fluid Gap (유체 의 틈 이 있는 정다각형 실린더 의 부가질량)

  • Methods for evaluating the added masses of square and hexagonal structures with fluid gap are presented. For a sufficiently small fluid gap, an analytical expression for the added mass is found using the method of matched asymptotic expansion. Experimental data and numerical results using finite element method are also obtained for various sizes of fluid gap. It is shown that added masses increase in inverse proportion to the fluid gap as it becomes smaller. Experimental data, theoretical and numerical results are in good agreement.

A Study on the Crevice Corrosion for Ferritic Stainless Steel (페라이트 스테인리스강의 틈부식에 대한 연구)

  • In recently days, the breed fish farm is increased in the beach side for farming fish. In such a farm, the heater is requested for preventing freezing in cold season. The heating material are requested high corrosion resistance and strength for endurance high corrosive salt and pressure. In case of low corrosion resistance and/or strength, the heating element shall be broke down and eventually make spillage or leaking contaminated salt. In the most cases, crevice corrosion is localized form of corrosion usually associated with a stagnant solution on the micro-environmental level. In this study, the crevice corrosion of Ferritic type 430 stainless steel is investigated. The size of specimen is $15{\times}20{\times}3mmt$. Test solution is 1N H2SO4 + 0.05N NaCl. The artificial crevice gap size is $0.24{\times}3{\times}15mmL$. Crevice corrosion is measured under applied voltage 300mV(SCE) to the external surface. the result of this study showed that 1) the induced time for initiation of crevice is 750seconds, 2) potential is dropped in the crevice from the top of gap opening from -320 to -399mV. The result confirmed that the potential drop(IR mechanism) in the crevice is one of mechanism for crevice corrosion.

  • 일반 구조용 탄소강은 수용액 중에 노출될 때 부식에 의한 손상을 받기 쉽다. 부식의 양지를 위한 방법으로 사용 매체 중에 부식억제제를 첨가하여 탄소강의 부식속도를 낮추는 방법은 흔히 사용되는 방법이다. 부식억제제는 부식억제의 원리에 따라 양극부식억제제, 음극부식억제제 그리 고 이들의 혼합부삭억 세제 둥 여러 종류가 목적에 따라 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 부식억제제의 성능 평가에는 무게감량볍, 표면분석법, 분극거동측정, 부석전위, 선 형분극법에 의한 부식속도 측정 등 다양한 방법이 시도되고 있다. 이 중에서 전기화학적 평가볍 은 부삭억제제의 작용 기구 규명 등을 위하여 많이 사용되고 있다. 한편 제품의 개발 단계에서 실질적인 평가법으로 갈리 사용하고 있는 방법은 무게 감량법인데 이 방법은 전면부식에 의한 금 속 손실량을 측정하여 부식억제능을 측정하는 방법이다. 그러냐 실제로 부삭억제제가 사용되고 있는 환경에서의 부식양상을 판찰하여보면 전면부식에 의한 손상보다는 국부부식에 의한 손상이 보다 치명적언 경우를 종종 목격할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 가존의 무게감량법은 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 국부부식을 보다 효과적으로 평가하기 위해 새로운 시험법을 도 입 상용 부식억제제의 종류별로 비교하였다. 부식억제제로는 수용액 중의 부식억제제로 널리 사용되고 있는 Nalco 39L과 본 연구실에서 SK해미칼과 공동 개발한 GH-110 등에 대하여 MCA(Multiple Crevice Assembly)를 이용 틈부식 저항성을 평가하였다. 또한 박막화된 전기저항형 부석속도 측정 센서를 틈부식 형태의 부식측정 에 적용하는 연구를 행하였다. 시험에 사용한 재갚는 천연가스의 감압 온도보상용으로 운전하는 가스히터의 주 구성 재료인 저탄소강을 사용하였으며 열화된 부식억제제 용액으로 사용기간이 서로 다른 수용액들에 대하여 평가 방법을 적용하여 비교하였다 다양한 부식억 제 제 수용액을 비교한 결과 MCA(Multiple Crevice Assembly)를 이용한 틈부식 억제능 시험은 실제 현장 사험 결과와 어느 정도 일치하는 결과를 보였다. 새로운 틈부식 저항성 측정법으로 시도한 철박막을 이용 틈부식 측정법은 육안 검사를 실시하지 않고도 틈부식의 전행 여부를 확인할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Numerical Study of Gap Size Ratio Effect for Noncondensable Gas Ventilation in Condensers (응축기의 비응축 가스 배출 타입에 따른 틈 간격 비율의 영향에 대한 수치적 연구)

  • A numerical analysis was carried out to estimate the effect of the gap size ratio on the performance of condensers under noncondensable gas ventilation using the porous medium approach (PMA). In the PMA, the details of the tube bundle in the condenser are considered to be those of a porous medium, and the flow resistance term is added in the momentum equation. Three-dimensional analysis of the condensation for a McAllister condenser was conducted with the PMA using Fluent and user-defined functions (UDFs). The gap size effect on the condensation was negligible under pure steam conditions. However, the gap size effect was dominant in condensation with noncondensable gas and external venting. As the gap size decreased, the condensation rate increased for noncondensable gas in an external venting system.

An Electrochemical Evaluation on the Crevice Corrosion of 430 Stainless Steel with Variation of Crevice Wide by Micro Capillary Tubing Method (Micro Capillary Tube 방법을 이용한 430 스테인레스강 틈의 폭변화에 따른 틈부식의 전기화학적 평가)

  • In this study, the IR drop theory was adopted to explain the initiation of crevice corrosion in the framework of IR drop in crevice electrolyte. Furthermore, the electrochemical polarization was measured to study the mechanism of crevice corrosion for type STS430 stainless steel. lest method adopts under condition that the size of specimen is $10\times20\times5mm,\;in\;1N\;H_2SO_4+0.1N\;NaCl$ solution, and the artificial crevice gap sizes are three kinds, the Micro capillary tube size is inner diameter 0.04 mm, outer diameter 0.08 mm. Crevice corrosion is measured under the applied voltage of passivation potential -200mV/SCE, resulted from anodic potentio-dynamic polarization to the external surface along the crevice. The potential difference was measured by depth profile by Micro capillary tube which inserted in the crevice. The obtained results of this study showed that 1) As artificial crevice gap size became narrow, the current density was increased, whereas no crevice corrosion was found in the crevice gap size $3\times0.5\times16mm\;in\;1N\;H_2SO_4+0.1N\;NaCl\;solution\;at\;20^{\circ}C$ 2) potential of the crevice was about from -220 to -358mV which is lower than that of external surface potential of -200mV The results so far confirmes that the potential drop(so-called IR drop) in the crevice is one of the major mechanisms the process of crevice corrosion for 430 stainless steel.

  • The relationship between the seismic velocity and RQD was estimated using the RQD data obtained from the optical borehole image processing and drill core logs and the seismic velocity measured from the PS logging. The seismic velocity and crack aperture show a high correlation in the granite in Yuseong area and banded gneiss in Paldang area. However, such a relationship cannot be found in the sedimentary rock in Sabuk area. In the sedimentary rock of Sabbuk area, the seismic velocity shows widespread distribution especially in the 0∼20mm range of accumulated crack aperture probably because the wide distribution of fracture zone in coaly shale results in the inaccurate measurements of the crack aperture.

  • The foraging behavior of the beauty goby, Pterogobius zacalles, was studied at Mutu Bay, Aomori province, Japan. P. zacalles harvested invertebrates prey from benthic substrates by using two distinct foraging modes: picking substrate among boulders and sucking surface of boulder. Among others, picking substrate among boulders was primarily used foraging mode. The foraging modes of P. zacalles were followed by three stages: searching for prey, feeding and chewing. For foraging, it takes less time to suck out the surface of boulder than pick up substrate among boulders, because the resting site of P. zacalles is close to the place where they do sucking. The diets of P. zacalles primarily consisted of benthic amphipods regardless of their foraging modes. Only the difference was that they can get bigger amphipods when they did picking rather than sucking. Even though it needs more time and energy to do picking, P. zacalles was compensated by getting a high-calorie diet eventually, therefore prey size can be the determinant of their foraging modes.

Statistical analysis of recurrent gap time events with incomplete observation gaps (불완전한 관측틈을 가진 재발 사건 소요시간에 대한 자료 분석)

  • Recurrent event data occurs when a subject experiences same type of event repeatedly and is found in various areas such as the social sciences, Economics, medicine and public health. To analyze recurrent event data either a total time or a gap time is adopted according to research interest. In this paper, we analyze recurrent event data with incomplete observation gap using a gap time scale. That is, some subjects leave temporarily from a study and return after a while. But it is not available when the observation gaps terminate. We adopt an interval censoring mechanism for estimating the termination time. Furthermore, to model the association among gap times of a subject, a frailty effect is incorporated into a model. Programs included in Survival package of R program are implemented to estimate the covariate effect as well as the variance of frailty effect. YTOP (Young Traffic Offenders Program) data is analyzed with both proportional hazard model and a weibull regression model.

Study on the Characteristics of Crevice Corrosion for STS304 Austenitic Stainless Steel(I) (오스테나이트계 스테인리스강의 틈부식 특성에 관한연구(I))

  • In these days, with development of industry, the use of machines and structures like ships, airplanes, bridges, power plants, and structure for construction has increased and these machines and structures are used in various corrosive environment. Especially, in case of STS 304, which is material for every kind of machine and chemical plant, it makes many problems related with corrosion and as a result of this, there are happening tremendous economic loss. Therefor, in this study, the test for polarization characteristics was carried out to study characteristics of crevice corrosion of STS 304 which is austenitic stainless steel, in NaCl environment.The main results obtained are as follows :1) Part of crevice is corroded, neighboring outside surface of crevice is passivation. 2) In polarization behavior, corrosion potential of STS 304 become more noble as the concentration of NaCl solution increased by 3.5% but the concentration increased over 3.5% that of STS 3.4 become less noble. 3) The current density under corrosion potential was high drained as concentration of NaCl solution increased by 3.5% but the concentration increased over 3.5%, the current density was low drained.
