  • 디지털 기술의 발달로 세계가 정보 및 지식이 주도하는 사회로 급변하고, 지식 재산권의 발전이 급속하게 진행되면서, 각 기업 및 국가들은 그들의 경쟁력을 키우기 위해 지식재산권에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 이와 같이 지식재산권의 중요성이 강조되는 현실에서 지식재산권의 확보는 기업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 요소라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 빅데이터 분석 도구인 R을 이용하여 빠른 시간 안에 사용자가 목적으로 하고 있는 특허검색 결과를 효율적으로 도출할 수 있는 검색어 추출에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 다섯 단계의 특허 검색 프로세스를 제안하였고 프로그램으로 구현하여 검색목적에 맞는 특허의 검색에 필요한 시간을 대폭 단축시키면서 목표로 하는 특허 검색을 효율적으로 할 수 있었다.

  • 그린카의 기술 분야별로 기술성과 시장성을 비교해 보면, 클린디젤자동차 분야의 기술이 특허당 피인용수나 시장확보지수가 모두 높아 기타 기술에 비해 높은 경쟁력을 가지고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 하이브리드자동차 분야의 특허는 특허당 피인용수는 높지만 시장확보지수가 상대적으로 낮고, 전기자동차는 시장확보지수는 평균 수준이나 특허당 피인용수는 상대적으로 낮은 수치를 나나내었다. 그린카 중에서 연료전지자동차의 특허당 피인용수나 시장확보지수가 가장 낮아 기술성 및 시장성이 가장 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

  • 기술이 경쟁력이라는 인식 아래, 기업들은 앞다퉈 신기술을 개발하는 데 전념하고 있다. 그러나 힘들게 신기술을 개발했어도 이를 지키지 못해 손해를 보는 경우가 많다. 법적으로 신기술을 보호받을 수 있는 '특허'가 주목받는 이유다. '특허'는 기술자사산은 물론이고, 영업노하우까지 모든 것을 포함한다. '특허'를 신청하면, 자신의 기술을 공개해야 하지만, 획득 후에는 20년간 그 기술에 대한 독점권이 주어지고 법적으로 보호받을 수 있다.

  • Despite its matchless position in the global semiconductor industry, Korea has not distinguished itself in the semiconductor equipment sector. Semiconductor cleaning equipment is one of the semiconductor fabrication equipment, and it is expected to be more important along with the advancement of semiconductor fabrication processes. This study attempts to analyze technology competitiveness of major countries in the sector including Korea, and explore specialty sub-areas of the countries. For this purpose, we collected patents of semiconductor cleaning equipment during the last 10 years from the US patent database, and implemented quantitative patent analysis and co-classification network analysis. The result shows that, the US and Japan have been leading the technological progress in this sector, and Korea's competitiveness has lagged behind not only the leading countries but also its competitors and even latecomers. Therefore, intensive R&D and developing technological capabilities are needed for advancing the country's competitiveness in the sector.

The Comparative Analysis of Outcomes on Patents and Papers of Railway Research Institutes in Korea, China and Japan (한국, 중국, 일본 철도연구기관 특허 및 논문실적 비교분석)

  • The governments of Korea, China, and Japan have operated comprehensive research institutes for railway technologies. Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI), China Academy of Railway Sciences Corporation Limited (CARS), and Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) are representatives of comprehensive railway research institutes in each country. KRRI was found to be the most advanced in the quantitative competitiveness of patents. In terms of qualitative competitiveness, KRRI has strength in civil engineering, whereas RTRI has strength in electricity. KRRI was found to have the greatest efforts in securing competitiveness in overseas property rights. By comparing the publication of papers, CARS published the most papers. On the other hand, from 2015, KRRI showed an upward trend and published the most papers. By examining the impact of the papers by the citation, KRRI was found to have higher competitiveness than the other two institutions. In the future, it will be necessary to perform big data analysis on patents and papers of the three organizations, derive the key research areas and promising technology areas for each institute, and establish a mid-to-long-term development plan for railway technology based on scientific evidence.

  • In light of the fact that the effect of intellectual property rights like patent on enterprise competitiveness is growing, rational valuation of patent rights, which are own by enterprises, is required because accurate patent valuation can bring about the activation of the technology exchange market and enhancing the values of enterprises as well as the security of funds through technology security. However, in reality, interest in the value of patent rights is not great due to many variables, affecting patent rights, and diverse attributes, and non-generalized methods of valuation. Therefore, studies on patent valuation for patent management of Small and Medium Enterprises is required. This thesis examined patent valuation for the patent management of Small and Medium Enterprises based on literature studies, and attempted to find factors, affecting patent valuation by finding patent valuation factors through experts, organizing, and analyzing these factors. 10 essential factors, which are demonstrated in this research, are the commercialization possibilities of technology, market competitiveness, the possibility of technology commercialization, market size, the originality of acquired technology, the stability of the right(the possibility of invalidating), the level of technology, technology competitiveness, the ripple effect of technology, and the characteristics of technology(original technology/application technology).

  • Recently patented rights affect the competitive power of each country. Specially the situation of that country will be superiority if one country has lots of basic invention patents in advanced technology. In the near future, research results in universities or research institutes should be involved with patent application so that the investment of research funds improves our technology. Alloy is used to adjust magnetic characteristic in invention for magnetic recording medium. In this case there must be cautious in make out the patent claims of invention about such alloys. The patent for alloy invention is considered with following standard. (1) composition range and structure aspect according to the need of a composition metal (2)characteristics of the alloy and for use.

  • This study is to compare and analyze the technology competitiveness of Big Data sector through patent analysis. According to results of the analysis, the United States is the most active country on the patent activities and its applied and registered patents have multiplied in recent times. However, both CPP(Cited Per Patent) and PII(Patent Impact Index) of the US would have declined, indicating that the growth of technology in the US seems to be biased to quantitative growth of technologies. Korea has been relatively active patent activities with Japan, China and Canada, whereas it has tended to be biased to quantitative growth with the US; Therefore, Korea government needs to concentrate efforts to retain the high quality technologies.
