타이어 트랙션시험차 및 기초적 실험결과

  • 타이어의 실노면상에서의 트랙션성능을 측정, 평가하는것은 자동차의 발진, 가속, 제동 및 시회성능의 점으로브터 중요하면 이것을 측정하기 위해서 타이어 트랙션시험차를 개발했다. 이시험차는 타이어의트랙션성능을 미끄럼율과제동, 구동계수의 관계, 횡화각과 사이드포오스계수, 어라이닝토루크의 관계로 측정되는 특장을 갖는다. 이시험차를 이용해서, 건조및 습윤아스팔트노상과 설노상에서의 트랙션성능에 대한 타이어트랫드의 기본적 페턴의영향을 측정한 결과, 다음과 같은 지견을 얻었다. (1)도로의 상태의 상위에 의한 타이어트랙션 성능은 건조상태에선 습윤상태보다 크며 노설상에선 전양자보다 훨씬 작다. (2)트랫드의 종방향의 구본수의 영향에 대해선 여하한 노면상태에서든 구본수가 증가한만큼 트랙션성능은 증가하나 어느구본수에선 포화하는 경향이 있다. (3)설노상에서의 트랫드의 구각도에 대해서는 구의각도가 타이어의 진행방향에 대해서 직각의 페턴이 좋다고 할 수 있다.

  • 자동차용 CVT로서 여러 가지 장치가 연구되고 있으나 크게 나누어 다음의 5가지, 1)유압식 변속 기(hydrostatic transmission), 2)오버런닝 클러치(overrunning clutch CVT), 3) 전기식 CVT, 4)미 끄럼 클러치식 치차변속기(multispeed gearbox CVT with shipping clutch), 5)트랙션 전달장치(t raction drive)로 볼 수 있다. 이중 지금까지 자동차에 실제 적용되어 가장 큰 가능성을 보인 것 은 트랙션 전달장치 뿐이다. 따라서 본문에서는 1)-4)의 4가지 형태의 CVT에 대하여 간단히 서 술하고 트랙션 전달장치를 중심으로 설명하기로 한다.

An Inverse Boundary Element Method for Finding Boundary Tractions of an Elastic Body (탄성체의 경계 하중을 구하기 위한 역경계요소법)

  • Most of structural analyses are concerned with the deformation and stress in a body subjected to external loads. In many fields, however, the interpretation of inverse problems is needed to determine surface tractions or internal stresses from measured displacements. In this study, the inverse processes by using the boundary element method are formulated for the evaluation of boundary tractions from displacements measured on a remote surface. Small errors in measured displacements often result in a substantial loss of accuracy of an inverse system. Numerical results show that the error in reconstructed tractions by using the inverse boundary element methods is sensitive to measurement location and noise.

  • 최근 중소 테마파크들은 방문객의 감소로 인한 운영의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 새로운 어트랙션의 도입 및 테마파크의 리뉴얼을 통해 방문객 증가를 유도하기에는 천문학적인 비용이 소요된다. 이런 비용 소모는 운영 업체의 입장에서 부담하기 쉽지 않은 구조로 새로운 방법으로 방문객의 재방문률을 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 대표적인 방안으로 최근 높은 관심으로 인해 관련 기술 및 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 VR 시스템의 어트랙션 적용이 있다. 많은 움직임이 없고 안정적인 속도로 운영되는 어트랙션에 VR의 콘텐츠를 적용하여 사용자의 탑승률을 높이고 이로 인해 재방문률 또한 증가 시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료되어 많은 접근이 시도되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 어트랙션의 탑승자에게 몰입감 높은 VR 콘텐츠 제공을 위해 탑승한 어트랙션의 움직임과 VR영상을 동기화 하는 매칭 모듈에 대해 제안한다. 제안하는 모듈은 가속도 센서의 움직임에 따라 1차 적분하여 속도를 산출하고 이를 2차 적분하여 거리를 산출한다. 기존의 가속도 센서를 통한 이동거리 판단에는 칼만 필터를 적용한 오차 보정, 다분화 사다리꼴 적분 등의 연산이 필요하지만 본 논문의 고정 어트랙션에서는 탑승체의 방향이 결정되어 있어 최소화된 연산으로 정확한 이동거리를 판단할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

However, in many fields, inverse problems have to be interpreted to determine surface tractions or internal stresses from displacements measured on a remote surface. In this study, the inverse processes are studied by using the finite element method for the evaluation of internal stresses. Small errors in the measured displacements often result in a substantial loss of stability of an inverse system. In order to improve the stability of the inverse system, the displacements on a section near the region of the unknown tractions are predicted by using orthogonal basis functions. We use the Gram-Schmidt orthogonal technique to determine two bases for the displacements on a section near the region of the unknown tractions. Advantages over previous methods are discussed by using numerical examples.

  • Virtual reality, which is attracting attention due to the 4th Industrial Revolution and commercialization of 5G technology, is expanding its scope from gaming to tourism, leisure, and education, and the VR market is expected to expand continuously. As the VR market scales up in Korea, theme parks combining virtual reality contents are spreading around the city center. Unlike the existing theme parks, VR Theme Park is a small amusement culture space that is organized indoors, and you can enjoy attractions (ride) that can be enjoyed in an amusement park with virtual reality contents. Virtual reality content, which has the same characteristics as a theme park whose purpose is to experience extraordinary experiences, provides high immersion and presence in combination with the physical stimulus of attraction. The virtual reality content combined with the attraction cannot be classified accurately with the existing classification method, so a new classification method is proposed according to the experience type and the installation type. The contents were categorized through the case of the domestic VR theme park, and the planning direction for the creation of the virtual reality attraction contents that was going on was sought.

  • VR and AR technologies are recognized as one of important technologies during 4th Industrial Revolution Era. Also, the market size of VR/AR are anticipated to grow up to $150 billion by 2020. These technologies are used in theme parks as well as in other industries including games and films. The purpose of this study is to recognize the trend of VR/AR application in theme park attractions and recommend optimal ways for the future applications. The trends were studied from number of publications while future model was developed after visiting theme parks and interviewing the industry experts. As a result, number of theme parks and LBCs(Location Based Center) are using VR/AR in many of their attractions already, but still holds a number of issues. These issues could be overcome if Fun, Efficiency and Technology are considered holistic ways in the future. Further, conformity of the technologies and theme park concept should also be examined.

  • To improve maintenance, environmental issues, efficiency, and economics to supplement the current air braking problems, braking power related to the entire driving range of electric brakes was presented in all areas from stop to high speed. As a result, the efficiency of braking power and cutting-edge technology have expanded energy use, and through this paper, noise in all driving ranges can be reduced, and maintenance costs can be reduced. The traction motor must bring the variable speed of the traction motor and the terminal voltage of the traction motor to drive high-speed driving characteristics that control the maximum voltage of the inverter. Therefore, we studied driving and brake changes through simulation.

  • The automotive market has recently been investing much time and costs in improving existing technologies such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and TCS (Traction Control System) and developing new technologies. Additionally, various methods have been applied and developed to reduce this. Among them, the development method using the simulation has been mainly used and developed. In this paper, we have studied a method to develop SILS (Software In the Loop Simulation) for TCS which can test various environment variables under the same conditions. We modeled hardware (vehicle engine and ABS module) and software (control logic) of TCS using MATLAB/Simulink and Carsim. Simulation was performed on the climate, road surface, driving course, etc. to verify the TCS logic. By using SILS to develop TCS control logic and controller, it is possible to verify before production and reduce the development period, manpower and investment costs.

Change of Physical Property of Rubber Compound by Terpene Modified Phenolic Resin Structure (테르펜 개질 페놀 수지 구조에 따른 배합고무 물성 변화)

  • Terpene-modified phenolic resins were used to improve the tires wet traction related to the driving safety and also rolling resistance related to fuel efficiency. In this work, alpha-pinene, beta pinene, and delta limonene resins, which constitute different basic structures of terpene-modified phenolic resins, were individually added to the tread compounds of tires and their physical properties were compared with those of the alkyl phenol resin compounds. Alkyl phenolic resins showed no significant difference in tangent delta from terpene-modified phenolic resins at 0 ℃, which is related to wet traction, but showed higher tangent delta at 80 ℃, which is related to rolling resistance, indicating smaller fuel efficiency improvement effects. Among the terpene-modified phenolic resins, beta pinene one showed improved wet traction and fuel efficiency compared to those of other resins. Delta limonene resin showed the best wet traction improvement effect, and alkyl phenolic resins showed relatively high tensile strength and abrasion property. All terpene-modified resins exhibited better rolling resistance than those of alkyl phenolic ones so that they can be said to have better fuel efficiency improvement effects and also to improve other properties compared to those of blanks. Terpene-modified phenolic resins could be used when mixing tire compounds referring to the properties of the phenolic resins revealed in this work, which could result in preparing compounds with improved wet traction and rolling resistance.
