  • Although Permeable concrete is resently used as a pavement at a parking lot, a public squre and a bicycle road, we use without enough examining. most the maintenance of quality for Permeable concrete is only dealt with strength and color tone. also, there is not yet enough fundamental data about dynamical properties for strength, rate of void and water permeability. even when it is applied to at the scene, it is been a matter.

  • 저영향개발(Low Impact Development, LID) 시설들은 미국 일본 등 선진국을 중심으로 관련법에 따라 개발 및 적용 되어왔으나 국내에서는 최근에서야 LID 시설을 적용할 수 있는 제도적인 틀을 구축하고 있는 실정이며, 국내 여건에 맞는 LID 시설을 개발하여 그 효용성을 검증하기 까지는 상당한 시간이 소요될 것으로 판단된다. 서울시는 2014년 '서울특별시 빗물관리에 관한 조례 전부개정조례'를 발표함으로써 한국형 LID 시설을 대단위로 적용 하고 검증 할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다. 서울시의 2014년 전부개정조례에 따르면 시장 및 구청장은 저영향개발 계획 수립의 실효성 확보를 위하여 저영항개발 사전협의 제도를 마련하여 시행하여야 하며, 시장은 저영향개발 지구단위계획을 수립하여야 한다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 실제로 적용 가능한 투수포장 주차장을 설계 할 수 있도록 투수 주차장형 LID 시설을 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지를 설계 및 구축 하였다. 과거 도심의 우수배제는 중앙 집중형 시스템으로 단기간에 우수를 차집하여 배제하는 방식이었으나, 근래에는 집중형 우수배제 시스템의 위험성, 경제성 그리고 용량한계 등 여러 가지 문제점이 부각되면서 분산형 시스템으로의 전환이 이루어지고 있다. 물순환도시 및 지속가능한 도시 등이 분산형 우수배제 시스템의 예이며, 주차장, 도로, 건물 등 불투수 표면으로부터의 우수를 지면으로 침투 및 침루시키는 방법 등을 활용하여 건전한 물순환을 꾀하고 있다. 침투 및 침루 능력은 각각 포장체 및 포장면 하부구조의 재료와 밀접한 관련이 있으며 재료의 선정은 하부구조의 안정성 확보를 고려하여 선택되어야 한다. 또한 우수 배제를 위한 유공관은 접합점에서 강도를 유지하면서 효율적으로 유수를 배제할 수 있어야 하며, 저류조 설치는 강수의 활용목적에 맞게 선정되어야 한다. 이러한 투수 주차장형 LID 시설은 하나의 시스템으로서 포장체의 재료에 따른 공학적 성질, 하부구조 구축방법 및 재료 선정 그리고 유공관 배열 등에 따라 그 시스템의 거동이 변화하므로 기존에 행해왔던 단순 재료실험으로는 투수성 주차장의 우수배제 시스템을 평가할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이를 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지 설계 및 구축하였다.

Prediction Algorithm for Transverse Permeability of Unidirectional Fiber Reinforced Composites with Electric-Hydraulic Analogy (전기-유압 유사성을 활용한 단방향 섬유 강화 복합재료의 수직 방향 투수 계수 예측 알고리즘)

  • This study suggests the prediction algorithm for transverse permeability, represented the flow resistance during the manufacturing process of composite, of unidirectional continuous fiber reinforced plastics. The cross-sectional shape of representative volume element (RVE) is considered to reflect fiber arrangement. The equivalent length is used as a factor to express the change of resin flow according to fiber arrangement. The permeability prediction algorithm is created by grafting the Electro-Hydraulic analogy and validity is confirmed. The code for permeability prediction was composed by means of MATLAB and Python, flow analysis was performed by using FLUENT. The algorithm was verified as the permeability results obtained through Algorithm and numerical analysis were almost identical to each other, and the calculation time was reduced around 1/450 compared to the numerical analysis.

  • The phase distribution in concrete materials strongly affects its material properties. It is important to identify the spatial distribution of void in concrete because the void in concrete materials affects mechanical behavior and permeability significantly. Therefore, a proper method to describe the void distribution of a material is needed. In this research, CT(computed tomography) is used to examine and to quantify the void distribution of porous concrete specimens. 3D concrete digital specimens are created by subsequent stacking of 2D cross-sectional images from CT. Then, probability distribution functions such as two-point correlation, lineal-path and two-point cluster functions are used for void distribution characterization. It is confirmed that probability distribution functions obtained from CT images are effective in characterizing void distributions including the anisotropy and percolation.

  • 본 논문에서는 축산폐수로 오염된 지하수를 복원하기위하여 투수성 반응벽을 지반속에 설치하여 오염된 지하수가 투수성 반응벽을 통과하도록 함으로서 오염상태가 저하되는 공법을 실험적으로 수행하였다. 투수성 재료로는 황토와 모래를 사용하였으며 실험결과 총인(T-P)과 총질소(T-N)의 저감 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 댐(dam)의 기초지반에 시공되는 그라우트 커텐(grout curtain)은 댐 축조 후 기초지반을 통한 침투류를 차단하기 위하여 시행되며, 콘크리트 댐, 흙 댐, 사력 댐 등의 공학적 차이에 따라서 그 시공 위치 및 심도, 폭 등이 다르게 적용된다. 그라우트 커텐(grout curtain)의 설계ㆍ시공 요소는 기초지반의 투수성, 댐 내의 수심, 제체 성토재료의 투수성, 그라우트 커텐의 투수성 등에 의하여 결정되며, 설계 시공 요소들은 그라우팅 커텐의 길이, 폭, 투수도 등이다. (중략)

  • Permeable block pavement systems are widely used to relieve the flood and enhance water circulation. However, domestic design method has not yet been established well. Although AASHTO 93 flexible pavement design method is applied as a structural design method outside the country, there is a lack of information on layer coefficient of the permeable pavement materials, which makes it difficult to apply the design to various materials. Therefore, in this study, a method of calculating the layer coefficient of permeable block pavement materials by plate load test was presented and the layer coefficient of a permeable block pavement in a testbed was evaluated. Overall, calculated layer coefficient of open graded aggregate and permeable block pavement surface layer were similar to those of the conventional values. The presented method may be used to evaluate layer coefficients of permeable block pavements for design.

A Study on the Mechanism of Soil Improvement Using Environment-friendly Organic Acid Material (친환경 유기산 재료를 활용한 지반개량 메커니즘에 관한 연구)

  • An organic acid material, which can be manufactured by plants extraction, encourages microbe proliferation over time. Microbial activity, which is affected by organic acid, encourages accelerating consolidation with biochemical penetration; soil particles are compacted by microbes and pore water is dissipated quickly. Additionally, $CaCO_3$ for cementation was made by proliferating microbes. Accordingly, tests were conducted to investigate the unconfined compressive strength and permeability of soil samples aged with and without an organic acid. In the 96 days of aging, the strength was generally 1.5~2.5 times greater than those without an organic acid material and permeability was definitely decreased to 74.2~93.1%. SEM analysis showed the change of pore structure and the change of the total bacteria counts revealed the activity of microbes reflecting the engineering characteristics and this material would be an environment-friendly for soil improvement.

  • Natural fiber mat made with compressed coconut mat and jute filter is in the spotlight recently as an alternative material for sand mat, which is getting expensive in Korea. Tensile strength and permeability tests for the natural fiber mat were carried out to evaluate for its practical use in this study. Despite of very low tensile strength of coconut mat, that of jute filter was satisfied with conventional criteria of geotextile suggested by Christopher and Holtz(1985). Besides, permeability of fiber mat under high compressive pressure was greater than that of conventional sand material used as sand mat. It was found that the fiber mat has a great potential in substituting the conventional sand material.

  • This study was conducted to investigate whether the moisture variation aspects in pavement materials can be analyzed based on the convenient and reliable relative humidity(RH) measurement techniques. First, the ambient RH was measured using various sensors and the accuracies and calibration methods of the sensors were examined. Then, the RH of a cement mortar specimen was measured using the reliable sensors and the data was analyzed. In addition, the feasibility of using the RH measurement sensors to analyze the permeability of pavement materials was investigated. From this study, it was found that the Hygrochron was the most appropriate sensor to measure the RH of pavement materials, and the proper installation and calibration methods were developed. The RH of the cement mortar specimen tended to approach the ambient RH and was not much affected by the variation of the ambient RH. The specimen's RH variations at the surface and at the center showed a clear time lag. The RH measurement sensor was also found to be an appropriate tool for water permeability tests, and the methodologies to evaluate the permeability of pavement materials were proposed.
