Platform operators adopted ATSC standard send only their own channel program schedule information, so in order for the viewer to see other channel information, they have to tune the channel to the other. This issue arises from the operators' lack of bandwidth and the business interest conflicts between the platform operators. This paper guides how ATSC standard could be used within Xlet based application to display other channel information through the ISG (Integrated Scheduling Guide) technology via interactive return channel services. Its own channel information can be displayed by using on-air PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol) data.

Recently, mobile marketing is becoming one of the major topics of interest to the marketing discipline. Emerging from rapid developments in mobile technology, it has created opportunities for new and innovative mobile services. Also, it is enabling to conduct always-on connections that consumers can interact anytime and anywhere. Especially, mobile devices place themselves to the core means of mobile-commerce which to execute a function as a distribution channel in mobile environments. Although the adoption researches about innovative services or technologies had executed in marketing areas over the past decades, most researches just expanded or modified existing theories and explanation models. There has been little study on the comprehensive and systematic review of adoption process. Therefore, it deserves to be considered prior usage experiences of the existing channels(CL) and attractiveness of the new channel(CLalt) based on social exchange theory. In order to address this void, this study unifies components of perceived attributes in the each dimensions (ie. benefit, cost, and risk dimensions) and explores prior usage experiences of the existing channels on adoption intention in electronic financial service channels through developing comprehensive model and employing empirical test for the hierarchy of effects model. Based on these empirical results, this study suggests managerial implications for new channel management in electronic financial service areas by focusing on the prior usage experiences of the existing objects on adoption intention and perceived attributes of ubiquitous-based mobile service channel.

Digital TV 환경에서, Advanced Television System Committee(ATSC) 표준을 채택한 지상파 방송 사업자들은 자기 채널 정보만을 전송하기 때문에, 시청자가 타 채널 편성정보를 검색하기 위해서는 채널 튜닝(Tuning) 후 정보를 받아볼 수 있다. 이러한 이유는 방송 사업자의 송출 대역폭(Bandwidth)의 부족 및 사업자간의 이해관계가 원인이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATSC 의 데이터방송 규격인 Advanced Common Application Platform(ACAP) 기반에서 자기 채널 편성 정보는 현재 수신되고 있는 PSIP 규격을 이용하여 디스플레이 하고, 타 방송사 채널 편성 정보 및 장르 정보, 양방향 데이터방송 정보 등은 리턴 패스(Return Path)를 이용하는 통합 편성 정보 서비스(Integrated Scheduling Information Service, ISIS) 구현 방법을 제시하여 문제점을 해결하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of social communication through the information technology, affective commitment and calculative commitment in globally integrated. The structural equation modeling technique was used to evaluate its empirical validity and causal relationship using data collected from a survey by a transnational corporation. The result revealed that social communication between employees through the information technology led to having a direct effect on both affective commitment and calculative commitment beyond the simple communication tool. Also the social communication had a positive effect on globally integrated. Both affective commitment and calculative commitment have a positive effect on globally integrated. From the result, we could find that affective commitment and calculative commitment partially play a mediating role between social communications and globally integrated. This result offered both recommendations and implications for firms attempting to innovate in order to be transnational corporations.

In this paper, Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR) of wireless Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) system interconnected with Radio over Fiber (RoF) link is analyzed for broadband convergence network applications. Unlike previous results, ACPR of the total link, which is involved with Radio Frequency (RF) amplifier as well as ROF link, at 5.8 GHz in IEEE 802.11a environment is simulated and compared at both system ends.

가상 네트워크는 가상 머신을 가상 링크로 연결해서 구성된다. 가상 링크는 하나의 물리적 채널을 여러개의 논리적 채널로 분할해서 사용할 수도 있고, 이와는 반대로 다수의 물리적 채널을 하나의 논리적 채널로 통합하여 사용할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 채널 본딩을 발전시킨 가상 네트워크를 위한 채널 본딩 기술을 제안한다. 기존의 채널 본딩 기술은 동일한 하드웨어, 동일한 네트워크 대역폭의 제한이 있는 반면 가상 네트워크를 위한 채널 본딩 기술은 하드웨어, 대역폭의 제한을 두지 않고 다양한 하드웨어와 대역폭을 지원할수 있도록 하였다. 이는 가상 머신간에 네트워크 대역폭을 나눠서 사용함으로 인해 가상 머신 위에서 다수의 네트워크 인터페이스가 동일한 대역폭을 지원받는 것이 어렵기 때문이다. 가상 네트워크를 위한 채널 본딩 기술의 성능을 측정하여 본딩된 채널만큼 성능이 향상됨을 알 수 있다.

In this paper, a conceptual framework describing the dynamics of click and mortar businesses is provided. It directs our attention to the many potential sources of synergy that are available to firms that choose to integrate e-commerce with their existing traditional forms of business. It further emphasizes the many actions that firms can take to minimize channel conflicts and help achieve the benefits of synergy. Finally, it describes four categories of synergy-related benefits from the integration of e-commerce with traditional businesses, including potential cost saving, gains due to enhanced differentiation, improved trust, and potential extensions into new markets. The utility of the framework was demonstrated using the case of an electronics retailer that has chosen to tightly integrate its large chain of retail stores with its Web-based electronic store. The framework was also used to develop a series of propositions that can guide future empirical research. The discussion points to the need to develop new types of metrics to better judge the contributions of e-commerce channels, and provides some guidance for future empirical research that can test whether, and under what conditions, integrated click and mortar business models work well. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present the combining physical and virtual presence in e-commerce.

In this study, we propose a joint source/channel rate control algorithm for video encoder targeting packet erasure channel. Based on the buffer constraints of video communication systems, encoding rate constraint is presented. After defining source distortion models for coded and skipped video frames and a channel distortion model for packet errors and their propagation, an average distortion model of received video is proposed for a given encoding window. Finally, we define an optimization problem to minimize the average distortion for given channel rates and packet loss rates by controlling spatio-temporal parameters of source video and FEC block sizes. Then, we propose a window-based algorithm to solve the problem in real-time.

In packet CDMA networks, it is important to design a MAC protocol that meets the QoS requirements , of the different traffic types and allocates the radio channels efficiently. In this paper, a RRS$^2$-CDMA MAC protocol is proposed for integrating voice and data services in the microcellular packet CDMA networks. In PRS$^2$-CDMA, a voice terminal can resolve a spreading code to transmit voice packets during a talkspurt while a data terminal has to contend for a code for each packet transmission. The numerical results show that the proposed protocol can improve the system capacity, while guaranteeing the QoS of voice and data services.

In this paper, an R_ALOHA_CDMA protocol is proposed for voice and data integrated services in the hybrid TDMA/CDMA wireless networks. In the hybrid TDMA/CDMA systems, the backward logical channels are composed of time slots with multiple spreading codes per slot. In the proposed protocol, a voice terminal can reserve a spreading code to transmit voice packets during a talkspurt. On the other hand, whenever a data terminal generates a packet, it transmits the packet through one of the available spreading codes. Throughout the results, it is shown that the system capacity increases in proportion to the number of spreading codes.
