본 연구는 레거시 시스템의 인터페이스 정보로부터 의미 있는 정보를 파악하여 새로운 시스템에 통합될 수 있도록 하기 위한 기존 레거시 시스템의 인터페이스에 기반한 객체추출 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 객체추출 기법은 인터레이스 사용사례 분석 단계, 인터페이스 객체 분할 단계, 객체구조 모델링 단계, 객체 모델 통합 단계 등 4단계로 구성되어 있다. 인터페이스 사용사례 분석 단계는 인터페이스 구조, 레거시 시스템과 사용자간의 상호작용 정보를 획득하는 단계이다. 인터페이스 객체분할 단계는 인터페이스 정보를 의미 있는 필드들로 구분하는 단계이며, 객체구조 모델링 단계는 인터페이스 객체들간의 구조적 관계와 협력 관계를 파악하여 모델링 하는 단계이다. 마지막으로 객체 모델 통합 단계는 객체 단위의 단위 모델들을 통합하여 추상화된 정보를 포함한 상위 수준의 통합 모델을 유도하는 단계다. 객체추출 기법에 의해 생성된 객체 통합 모델은 역공학 기술자들의 레거시 시스템 이해와 레거시 시스템의 정보를 새로운 시스템에 적용하는데 있어 효율성을 극대화할 수 있다.

XML을 기반으로 한 시스템간의 통합하는 과정에서 발생하는 데이터 정의 이질성 문제, 데이터 표현의 이질성 문제, 유사표준의 중복 개발 등이 야기되므로, 이에 대한 대비책이 필요하다. 따라서 분산된 이 기종 시스템들마다 각기 구조화된 데이터베이스틀 통합하는 과정에 발생하는 시스템간의 불일치 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법이 메타데이터를 이용하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이질적이면서도 분산되어 있는 정보 저장소로부터 메타데이터틀 수집하고. 이를 통합된 메타데이터 베이스로 구축하여, 분산된 데이터베이스에 대한 검색정보 및 데이터 트랜잭션을 할 수 있도록 제안한다. 정보 통합 방법으로는 메타데이터를 기반으로 한 가상 스키마를 이용한다. 스키마 이질성과 데이터 이질성 해결하기 위한 방법으로 메타데이터 가상 스키마를 설계하였다. 메타데이터 가상 스키마 기반으로 한 정보 통합은 XML 뷰어 어인 XDR을 기반으로 한다. 이는 XMVS 템플릿으로 분해하여, 통합 처리 할 수 있는 XML기반의 가상 스키마를 이용한 정보 통합 검색시스템을 설계 제안한다.

As advanced information technology has been developing rapidly, libraries are moving from an ownership-centered information service toward information access service. Consequently, integrated automation systems of information centers that give not only cataloging information of their own collections but also various electronic information have appeared. In this study, a model of integrated automation system of an information center is suggested in terms of information types and cost, by taking case studies of some domestic and foreign libraries. Furthermore, the MIPOS Information & Resource Center System of POSCO Group is introduced as a good example of integrated automation systems in Korea.

본 연구는 기존에 운영 중인 항만건설통합정보시스템의 활용성과 시스템 운영관리의 효율성을 높이기 위해 시스템을 통합화하였다. 도로와 항만 건설사업관리는 대상목적물만 다르고 기본적인 업무프로세스는 유사하다. 따라서 통합 개발기간을 단축하고 안정적으로 통합화하기 위해 항만건설통합정보시스템을 기존에 운영하고 있는 도로건설사업관리시스템으로 통합하는 방식으로 추진하였다. 도로건설사업관리시스템은 항만건설통합정보시스템보다 시스템 사용이 쉽고 편리하며 건설사업관리 업무프로세스 지원 및 관리기능이 안정적으로 설계되었다. 본 연구는 시스템 통합화 과정에서 겪었던 애로사항과 이를 해결하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 타 시스템을 통합화할 경우에 본 연구 결과를 활용한다면 반복적인 시행착오를 미연에 예방할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 국가수자원관리종합정보시스템(WAMIS), 물정보시스템, 통합홍수예보시스템에서 각각 독립적으로 사용되는 수문자료를 통합, 일원화하기 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 각 시스템의 데이터베이스는 수문자료 일부분 혹은 전체를 어느 한 시스템에서 다른 시스템으로 복사 및 이전하여 당시의 기관별 혹은 시스템별로 운영목적에 맞게 관리, 활용되어 왔는데 이들 데이터베이스에는 동일한 내용의 수문자료가 시스템별로 운영되고 있어 자료의 일치성과 관리의 일관성, 관련 시스템간의 연계성, 그리고 향후 정보의 확장성을 고려할 때 이들 개별 수문 데이터베이스 자료를 통합 및 일원화하고 관련된 응용시스템은 통합된 데이터베이스의 자료를 공유하는 형태로 구성할 필요성이 있었다. 그리하여 물관리정보 실무협의회에서 심의 확정된 물관리정보 표준을 기초로 하고 관계되는 물관련시스템과 공동활용 및 상호연계를 위해 국가수자원관리종합정보시스템과 물정보시스템, 통합홍수예보시스템의 수문자료를 통합 및 일원화하여 표준수문 DB 구조에 적용시킴으로써 자료의 일관성 및 확장성을 확보하고 물 관련 시스템과의 효율적인 연계 및 관리를 위한 수문종합정보 기반을 구축하고자 하였다.

분자 생물학의 발전염기서열, 단백질 서열, 지놈 서열 등의 서열데이터베이스와 단백질 3차구조를 제공하는 구조 데이터베이스등이 구축되어서 웹을 통해 많은 정보를 제공하고 있다. 전세계적으로 분산되어 있는 다양한 생물정보 데이터베이스의 효율적인 검색을 위해서 통합 검색 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 전세계의 생물정보 데이터베이스의 개발 현황을 보이고 분산되어 있는 생물정보데이터베이스로부터 통합검색을 위한 생물정보 통합검색시스템(GenPlus)를 제안하였다. 제안한 GenPlus 에서는 염기 서열, 단백질서열, 그리고 키워드를 이용한 서열정보, 구조정보,완전한 지놈 정보, 그리고 문헌정보의 통합 검색을 제공한다.

Recently to take actions to environmental changes like rapid development of IT techniques and acceleration of internal and external competitions etc, domestic universities are conducting projects for establishment and upscaling of integrated information system. In this regard, in this study, the status of integrated information system of national and private universities was analyzed in order to deduce environmental factors for establishment of integrated information system of higher education institutions out of the recognition that environmental factors also are important factors in making the information system a success, and on such basis, 3 environmental factors and 21 detailed measurement items to be considered in establishing integrated information system of higher education institutions were deduced, and plan for successfully application of such integrated information system to the universities that intend to establish integrated information system was proposed. It is anticipated that this study results will be utilized as basic data for successfully establishment of integrated information system in universities when they establish integrated information system.

A number of companies are considering for merger and acquisition (M&A) as one of business strategies for their growth and survival. However, many of them do not create the synergy they had sought, and failed M&A, often result in negative outcomes in terms of productivity, market share, profitability and turnover of qualified employees. There have been numerous research studies conducted to analyze the factors that determine the success and failure of M&A, and it has been found that with the increasing dependence of many companies on information systems, post-M&A IS (information systems) integration success has a critical effect on the success of M&A. However, there have been very few studies on post-M&A IS integration success, and most have been restricted to integration of IS organizations or physical information systems. In order to conduct a comprehensive research on the factors that affect the success of post-M&A IS integration, this study surveyed preceding researches on not only information systems but also strategic management, economics, finance, HRM (human resource management) and organization management. Based on the findings, a comprehensive and integrated model of the influential factors on post-M&A IS integration has been proposed. The proposed model categorizes the factors into perspectives of M&A, strategy, organization, HRM and IS, and provides an empirical evaluation of each factor on the success of IS integration based on comparative case studies.

최근 들어 컴퓨터 산업과 정보화 사회의 발달은 많은 정보 이용자들에게 편리함을 주고 있으며 온라인 정보소스와 정보 이용자 수는 인터넷과 통신기술의 확산으로 급속히 증가하고 있다. 이러한 상황 변화는 정보시스템간의 통합을 요구하며 특히 도서 검색 시스템 통합에 많은 영향을 주었으며 웹을 기반으로 하는 도서검색 서비스는 여러 지역의 도서 자료 통합이 절실하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹을 기반으로 하여 하나의 인터페이스를 통하여 여러 도서 검색 서비스를 통합할 수 있는 통합 전자 도서 검색 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다.

기입뿐만 아니라 정부차원에서도 시스템을 통합하여 효율적으로 관리하는 방법에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹서비스와 같은 웹 기술에 기반하여 정보자원을 통합하고 활용하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 통합 모델은 기존 시스템의 재구성에 대한 부담을 줄이면서 시스템을 통합하는 레지스트리를 이용한 Loosely-coupling 방식을 지향하고 있다. 제안하는 통합 모델은 전체 시스템의 효율성을 높이면서도, 투자비용에 대한 부담을 줄일 수 있는 차기 전자정부의 모델이 릴 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
