Design of Integration Controller of Explosive Proof Panel (방폭 패널 통합 제어기 설계)

  • Currently, the petrochemical industry complex always has remained with the explosive riskiness due to explosive and inflammable gases. In order to prevent explosion, all kind of equipment or facility including controller and its panel requires explosive proof. The control panel, which is currently used as explosive proof, has been used as the air injection method by manually from outside to constantly keep the temperature and pressure between inside and outside of the panel. In this paper, we propose the design of integrated controller of explosive proof panel which can control pressure and temperature automatically.

  • A stand-alone Photovoltaic (PV) system is one of the most important energy system for Mongolian nomadic herders. Basically, a stand-alone PV system uses two DC-DC converters. This makes the system costly, size bigger and difficult to move from one place to another place for the nomadic herders. A combined control algorithm for charging the battery using Stage of Charge (SOC) and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is proposed in this paper. The batteries are charged by the three stage method; bulk, absorption and float charge. In the bulk stage used the MPPT function in this study. The performance of the proposed control algorithm is evaluated in both steady and changing weather conditions. The results are obtained using PSIM software. The results obtained in this paper are useful in designing a stand-alone PV system in the rural life like Mongolian nomadic herders.

  • A ship propulsion thruster platform which is used by safety sailing takes charge of remote control of a main engine in ship. This system not only guarantees safety and reliable flight sailing but also require remote control technology of a ship. Accordingly, in this paper it deals with a telegraph lever control unit system which is a part of propulsion thruster system as localization technology. Also it makes sure of knowledge and core technology through analysis and designing and developing a telegraph lever control unit system. Moreover, it is sure of acquisition of base technology for integration of a ship propulsion thruster platform.

  • 멀티데이터베이스 시스템이란 기존에 독자적으로 개발되어 사용되고 있는 서로 다른 지역 데이터베이스 시스템들을 논리적으로 통합하기 위해 제안된 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 논리적인 통합 인터페이스로 메시징 소프트웨어를 이용하고 메시징 순서 기능을 적용한 전역 동시성 제어 기법을 제안한다. 전역 직렬성을 보장하기 위하여 전역 트랜잭션의 서브 트랜잭션이 실행되는 모든 LDBS에서 같은 순서로 직렬화 되어야 한다. 메시징 순서 기능은 하의 노드가 여러 개 메시기를 송신하는 경우, 모든 노드는 송신한 순서에 따라 메시지를 수신함을 보장하는 것으로 이를 이용하여 전역 트랜잭션의 서브 트랜잭션들을 실행 노드에 같은 순서로 전송하고 실행 LDBS는 해당 순서대로 직렬화한다면 전역 직렬성을 보장할 수 있다. 그 결과 제안된 기법은 LDBS의 실행 정보 없이 전역 트랜잭션의 상대적인 실행 순서를 결정할 수 있기 때문에 지역 자치성을 보장한다.

  • 전세계적으로 친환경, 에너지 절약과 맞물려 LED조명에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 특히 우리나라는 삼면이 바다와 인접해 해안 항만 환경에 대한 관심이 높고, 해안산책로, 공원 등이 늘어나면서 LED 보안등에 대한 수요가 늘고 있는 추세이다. LED보안등의 수요가 늘어나면서 보안등의 주목적인 범죄예방에 대비하면서 에너지를 절감할 수 있는 시스템에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 최근의 조명제어 시스템은 단순히 보행자 유무만을 인식하여 조명의 밝기를 제어하는 시스템이 대다수이며, 비, 바람, 안개, 해무 등의 실시간 변화가 잦은 해안환경에 대한 고려는 부족하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 보행자 유무와 비, 안개, 해무 등의 환경적 정보를 융합하여 보안등의 밝기를 통합 제어할 수 있는 스마트 제어 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

  • 산업분야의 통신시스템에는 주로 RS232C 통신, RS485 통신, CAN 통신 등이 주로 사용되었다면 근래에는 고속통신이 가능하며 공장 자동화(CIM)나 시스템 통합에 편리한 이더넷통신이 사용되고 있는 추세이다. 즉, 기존의 PC와 프로세서간의 통신의 방식에서 랜 선을 이용하여 원거리에서 프로세서의 제어와 모니터가 가능하도록 구현되는 실정이다. 이더넷을 통해 연결된 시스템은 $10Mbps{\sim}100Mbps$의 빠른 속도로 모니터링과 제어가 가능하여 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 승압형 컨버터를 구현하기 위하여 마이크로프로세서는 컨버터의 입력전압과 출력전압이 필요하며 이를 마이크로프로세서 내부에 있는 12비트A/D변환기로 구현하였다. 전압 제어를 위해서 본 논문에서는 25us 마다 PWM의 ON/OFF 폭을 미리 예측한 후 타이머를 이용하여 A/D 변환을 하도록 하였다. 원 칩 마이크로프로세서인 DSP(TMS320F2812)의 PWM 기능을 이용하여 승압형 컨버터에서 출력되는 전압을 계측하여 PID 제어이론을 바탕으로 전압을 제어하였다.

  • This paper proposes the new concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote monitoring & lighting dimming control and telemetry using Web network. The Experimental LonWorks network system for telemetry & remote monitoring and control are designed and fabricated. As a result, it is verified that LonWorks is open, inteoperable, reliable network system from the experimental results, especially, it seamlessly links the data and control networks, allowing the IP(internet) network to be treated as an extension of the LonWorks networks, and vice versa.

  • Cyber attacks on national infrastructure, including large-scale power outages in Ukraine, have continued in recent years. As a result, ICS-CERT vulnerabilities have doubled compared to last year, and vulnerabilities to industrial control systems are increasing day by day. Most control system operators develop vulnerability countermeasures based on the vulnerability information sources provided by ICS-CERT in the United States. However, it is not applicable to the security of domestic control systems because it does not provide weaknesses in Korean manufacturers' products. Therefore, this study presents a vulnerability analysis framework that integrates CVE, CWE, CAPE, and CPE information related to the vulnerability based on ICS-CERT information (1843 cases). It also identifies assets of nuclear facilities by using CPE information and analyzes vulnerabilities using CVE and ICS-CERT. In the past, only 8% of ICS-CERT's vulnerability information was searched for information on any domestic nuclear facility during vulnerability analysis, but more than 70% of the vulnerability information could be searched using the proposed methodology.

  • A FR-ATM interworking function that has FR and ATM interfaces, should guarantee the QoS of both frame relay and ATM networks. The IWF requires the policing mechanisms for FR and ATM respectively, and needs to map the traffic parameters each other. In this case, traffic parameter mapping and policing function are performed independently. In the aspect of FR traffic policing, this function degrades processor performance if it is worked by software, or includes additional hardware function. The best way to solve this is to integrate this function into ATM function because ATM is performed by well defined hardware already. In this paper we propose the integrated traffic control mechanism. That is, frames are segmented to cells first, and then policing mechanism is applied to the cells to guarantee the FR QoS. Therefore proper policing algorithm is essential to the integrated FR traffic mechanism. The evaluations are done with simulations in comparison of existing FR algorithms, ATM VBR and GFR policing algorithms, and the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, we implemented the integrated gateway for health care and home network system based on PLC(Power Line Communication) and Zigbee. The designed system is consists of sensors, integrated gateway, Zigbee module and PLC modem. The integrated gateway will transmit the data which is collected by health care sensors to health care control system and control an appliance for comfortable environment to medical facilities. The implemented gateway can support various health care and home network service.
