  • Recently, u-learning passing over ICT learning and e-learning becomes influential in Korean primary and secondary schools. U-learning is to be proliferated in accordance with the development of ubiquitous environment. In this paper, we introduced the situation and implications of the model cases of ICT learning, e-learning and u-learning designated by the Korean Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.

  • 고등학교 이하 학력을 가진 820만명의 저학력 성인에게 초 중등교육 기회를 확대하기 위해서는 사이버 교육을 통하여 교육을 원하는 사람이라면 누구나, 언제, 어디서나, 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 교육체제를 마련해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 지난 30여 년 동안 단방향 라디오 방송 중심의 교육체제를 유지해 온 방송통신고등학교를 쌍방향 인터넷 강의 중심의 교육체제로 전환하고자 방송통신고등학교의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 그 결과를 토대로 콘텐츠의 개발 방안과 시스템이 갖추어야 할 기능 등을 연구하였으며, 그 결과를 토대로 교육용 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 사이버 학사 운영에 필요한 사이버학교운영시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 2년간 3개 시범학교를 지정 운영하여 개발된 시스템이 학교 현장에 안정적으로 적용될 수 있는 방안을 마련하였다.

  • As "Nationwide Educational Information System", as one of 11 essential tasks of the electronic government, is to be introduced step by step from March in 2003, the current School Information Management System servers in each school cannot be functioned appropriately any more. Management of school cumulative records will be done by the integrated server of the regional Office of Education. Accordingly, more than 20,000 servers of various kinds available in each school should be put into use in one way or another. So this thesis aims to suggest how to reuse these servers in schools, and how to approach modeling of the 21st-century school in the School Information Management System.

  • 본 본문은 사람의 걸음걸이를 분석을 하여 사람을 인식하는 시스템을 개발한다. mmWave 레이다 센서를 사용하여 사람의 걸음걸이를 인식하고 인식한 데이터를 바탕으로 어떤 사용자인지 분석한다. 데이터를 분석하여 등록된 사용자가 왔을 경우 개방하는 방식으로 출입을 통제하는 개폐 시스템을 사용하고 통신을 사용하여 스마트폰과 통신하여 문이 열리면 실시간으로 사용자가 볼 수 있게 한다.

  • 2005년에 '초 중등학교 정보통신 기술교육 운영지침'이 새로 발표됨으로써 교재들이 새로 개발되고 있는데, 운영지침이 발표된 지 얼마 되지 않았기 때문에 새로 개발된 교재들이 '초 중등학교 정보통신 기술교육 운영지침'에서 제시하는 내용 체계와 지도 내용을 실제 어떤 내용으로 어떻게 지도하고 있는지에 대한 연구가 아직 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 각 교재의 구성과 내용을 분석하여 '초 중등학교 정보통신 기술교육 운영지침'에서 제시하는 내용 체계와 지도내용을 실제 어떤 내용으로 어떻게 지도하고 있는지에 대해 교재를 분석하였다.

The analysis of the chemistry lecture content in the 1920s correspondence education textbook "JunghagGanguilog" (1920년대 통신교육 교재 『중학강의록』의 화학강의 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzes the "JunghagGanguilog (中學講義錄)" published by the JoseonTongsinJunghaggwan(朝鮮通信中學館), a correspondence school in the 1920s, as well as "Mungyoui Joseon (文敎の朝鮮)," "Sinjisig (新知識)," and newspaper articles to examine the situation of science education in correspondence education at that time. The study investigated the effectiveness of science education outside of schools by analyzing the content of chemistry lectures in correspondence education materials and comparing them with Qualification Exam questions. Correspondence education served as a communication channel for individuals in the 1920s who were unable to receive formal schooling and was a valuable educational method for those aiming to pass Qualification Exam for admission to higher-level schools. Due to the similarity between the chemistry lecture content and Qualification Exam questions, learners likely favored correspondence education, leading to higher learning abilities. Therefore, it can be seen that the Korean publication of "JunghagGanguilog" was a significant resource in the science education landscape at that time.

A Study on Database Education in Elementary and Secondary Schools in Korea focused on the IT curriculum in Gyeongsangbuk-do province (경상북도를 중심으로 고찰한 한국 초·중등학교의 데이터베이스 교육에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the importance of systematic database education in elementary and secondary schools in Korea. The authors compared the curriculum for database education in elementary and secondary schools of Gyeongsangbuk-do province in Korea with that of Arcola schools in the state of Illinois, US. The database industries of both countries were also compared to suggest the significance of database education in Korea. We have shown that it is urgent to include database education in IT curriculum for elementary and secondary schools in Korea considering importance of database itself as well as the magnitude and growth rate of database industries in 21st century. Contrary to our research results, however, it is shown the IT curriculums of elementary and secondary schools in Korea is hardly adequate to provide systematic database education required in information society. Based on these results, we conclude that IT curriculums should be revised to accommodate systematic database education for elementary and secondary schools in Korea.

  • In this study, a programming class plan was designed for artificial intelligence education in technical high schools such as specialized high schools and Meister high schools. In elementary and middle schools or general high schools, it is not easy to secure the number of hours, so it is not easy to proceed with a lot of content and in-depth content. In addition, technical high schools have a good environment for nurturing human resources in the field of artificial intelligence. For this purpose, existing researches related to artificial intelligence education were explored, and programming classes related to artificial intelligence education were grafted into the units of the existing engineering high school programming classes.

  • In this paper, We analysis actual condition of education about information communication ethics in elementary school and survey negative side effects of information communication ethics, such as, the circulation of unsound information, game addiction, the misuse and overuse of information. we survey recognition level of information communication ethics on the teachers who responsibles the education of the elementary school students and make some suggestions to develope education of information communication ethics based on research results.
