Direct Torque Control of Squirrel Cage Typed Induction Motor Using Fuzzy Controller (퍼지제어기를 이용한 농형 유도 전동기의 직접 토크제어)

  • The direct torque control method of an inverter fed squirrel cage typed induction motor using fuzzy logic controller has been proposed. This method is suitable for the traction which requires a fast torque response during the star-up and step change. The fuzzy control algorithm based upon the control principles of conventional DSC(Direct Self Controller) is developed. The fuzzy algorithm is tarried out by defuzzification strategy of the fuzzy output extracted from the possibility distribution of an inferred fuzzy control rule. The flux and torque of an induction motor are estimated by the dynamic model of the rotor flux field-oriented scheme which has decoupling characteristics and excellent dynamic response over a wide speed range. The proposed controller shows a good dynamic response. Moreover, since the fuzzy controller possesses highly adaptive capability, the performance of fuzzy controller is quite robust and insensitive to the motor parameters and change of operation conditions.

  • 본 논문에서는 토크 리플 저감과 동특성을 개선하는 유도 전동기(IM)의 토크 예측 제어 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 고정된 전압 벡터의 크기를 사용하지 않고, 토크 변동분 넓이의 합이 최솟값이 되도록 하는 전압 벡터 인가 시간을 결정하여 유도 전동기에 인가한다. 이 방법은 토크 제어에 필요한 전압만 인가하므로 잉여 전압이 발생하지 않는다. 따라서 정확한 제어 성능을 가지면서도 과도 상태에서는 동특성이 개선되고, 정상 상태에서는 토크 리플의 크기를 최소화할 수 있다. 제안하는 알고리즘의 유효성과 우수성을 시뮬레이션으로 검증한다.

  • 다상 BLDC 모니터는 높은 효율, 단위 전류당 높은 토크 밀도 및 비교적 쉬운 제어 특성으로 인해 동일 크기, 동일 무게에서 더 높은 출력을 요구하는 대형 트랙션 또는 선박 추진 응용 분야에서 점점 더 많이 사용되고 있다. 선박 등의 대용량 추진 시스템은 안정적인 운전 성능을 위해 모터의 일부 상 고장의 경우에도 시스템의 안정적인 동작이 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모터의 한 상에서 고장이 발생한 경우 BLDC 모터의 정상인 상 전류의 위상각을 제어하여 토크 리플을 저감하는 제어 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 토크 리플에 큰 영향을 미치는 출력 토크의 2차 고조파 성분의 합이 영이 되도록 정상인 상 전류의 위상각을 제어하여 가능한 범위 내에서 최대 출력 토크를 얻음과 동시에 토크 리플 성분을 최소화한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 12상 BLDC 모터의 HILs 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • Flux level is low in the maximum efficiency control of a stator flux-oriented control of induction motor under the light load. In this cast if the loaf torque is suddenly increased, torque component current is limited to the low level by torque-limit condition because of the low flux level. In this paper, a technique to solve the problem is proposed.

  • In this paper, a novel torque control scheme is proposed and implemented to handle the torque level of ebike precisely. By adopting moving average filters to eliminate throttle noise, ebike driver could control throttle level on wide span of 256 steps. Designed controller is plugged into ebike and tested to demonstrate it's linear control incomparable to conventional cadence sensing controller.

  • IPM(Interior Permanent Magnet) Machine의 전류 제어는 자기저항에 의존하는 토크특성 때문에 SPM(Surface Permanent Ma- gnet) Machine보다 복잡하다. 고성능 토크제어를 위해서는 d축 전류와 q축 전류의 동특성간의 상태 decoupling이 요구된다. 그러나 전류의 상태 동특성이 coupling된 인덕턴스의 변화(온도, 파라미터들의 부정확한 측정값)는 상태 decoupling을 어렵게 한다. 그래서 이러한 변화와 각각의 전류가 독립적으로 제어될 수 있게 여러 decoupling 방법들에 초점이 맞춰지고있다. 본 연구는 외란에 강하고, 특히 인덕턴스의 변화와 상관없는 이상적인 토크제어를 하기 위해 신경회로망을 이용하여 슬라이딩 평면(sliding surface)을 구성하고, SMC(Sliding Mode Control)를 이용하여 상태 cross-coupling의 decoupling을 위한 새로운 접근을 제안한다. 이 방법은 PI제어 성능과 SMC의 강인성을 알고리즘을 이용하여 결합한 것이라고 볼 수도 있다.

  • In this paper, improved direct torque control(DTC) system for five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) is proposed. Due to the additional degrees of freedom, five-phase 1M drives present unique characteristics. Also five-phase motor drives possess many other advantages compared with the traditional three-phase motor drive system, such as reducing an amplitude of torque pulsation and increasing the reliability. The DTC method is advantageous when it is applied to the five-phase IM, because the five-phase inverter provides 32 space vectors in comparison to 8 space voltage vectors into the three-phase inverter. However, five-phase motor has structural drawback of 3rd space-harmonics current component, it is necessary to controlled 3rd harmonic current. So to control 3rd harmonic current and enhance dynamic characteristics of five-phase squirrel-cage IM drive, modified DTC method should be demanded. The characteristics and dynamic performance of traditional five-phase DTC are analyzed and new DTC for five-phase IM is presented. A more precise flux and torque control algorithm for the drives can be suggested and explained For presenting the superior performance of the proposed direct torque control, experimental results are presented using a 32-[bit] fixed point TMS320F2812 digital signal processor with 2.2[kW] induction motor.

Sensorless Speed Control of Induction Motor using Model Reference Adaptive Control and Direct Torque Control System (모델기준적응제어 및 직접토크제어 시스템을 이용한 유도전동기의 센서리스 속도제어)

  • This paper proposes a new sensorless speed control scheme of induction motor using Model Reference Adaptive Control and Direct Torque Control System. The Model Reference Adaptive Control System is based on the comparison between the outputs of Reference Model and Adjustable Model. The error between the estimated quantities obtained by the two models is used to drive a suitable adaptation mechanism which generates the estimated rotor speed for the Adjustable Model. And the Direct Torque Control scheme controls torque and flux by restricting the flux and torque errors within respective hysteresis bands, and motor torque and flux are controlled by the stator voltage space vector using optimum inverter switching table. The simulation results of proposed method indicate good speed responses from the low speed range to the high, and also show favorable characteristics of load operation.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. The paper is posed maximum torque control of IPMSM for high speed drive. The control method is applicable over the entire speed range and considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current $i_d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system for high speed drive, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail by experiment.

But an SRM is difficult to control the desired torques because of saturation in magnetic circuit An SRM is controlled by parameters of input voltage, and switch on , off angle The switch on off angles of an SRM regulate the magnitude and shape of current waveform and decide the magnitude and shape of torque This paper proposes an the optimization control scheme by adjusting both the switch on an switch off angle . The switch off angles are decided by reference of efficiency using simulation and experiments. The switch on angles are decided by load torque , And the dwell angles are controlled for torque control and speed control using GA-neural network which is used to simulated the reasonable switching angle.
