A Study on Risk Analysis and Countermeasures for Urban Railway Casuality Accident (도시철도 역사 내 철도안전사상사고 위험도 평가 및 저감방안)

  • The paper suggests to measure the risk of pedestrians inside urban railway stations. The level of risk is calculated in manner of both an average risk and average weighted risk of 9 different facility inside urban railway stations. Based on these level of risk, top 10 stations are chosen out of all the stations operated by Seoul Metro and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Cooperation (SMRT). In order to alleviate the level of risk, countermeasures for those risks are surveyed for 60 experts who are now involved in safety issues in those 2 railway operation companies. A countermeasure survey for the accidents is done into 2 ways. One is to lower the probability of making accidents and the other is to alleviate the consequence for accidents. The effectiveness of those alternatives is surveyed between 1 to 5 yardsticks and converted into one value for each alternative.

  • In this study, the information breakdown structure of water purification plant has been made by classifying various the water purification methods and facilities. this can be utilized as a code system of computer for integrating information and analyzing quantitative of environmental impact and calculating cost of maintenance and energy consumption which was used during life cycle of water purification plant. Since the construction information contains many heterogeneous information, it is very important to have a code system for managing the integrated information. In addition, since water purification plant facilities are mainly composed of installation of facilities including many processes, a more detailed classification code is required. Therefore, in this study, the water purification breakdown structure which is not yet attempted in Korea was constructed by using facet classification system.

Development of Database Management System for Agriculture Facilities Using Geographic Information System (GIS를 이용한 농업시설물 데이터베이스관리시스템 개발)

  • The environments in current farming and fishing communities have been exacerbated by the shortage of personnel caused by aging, the deficiency of equipment, and the decrease in produce prices. To help solve these issues, this study examined the history, such as inspections, failures, and repairs, by constructing a database for underground water wells, pumping stations, and irrigation, which are critical for management among agriculture production infrastructures. In particular, in the case of underground water wells, their optimal locations were determined using spatial information, such as a geological map of water resources, a water vein map, and underwater depth, because indiscreet installations and an absence of spatial information resulted in economic losses and environmental pollution. Therefore, this study could efficiently manage many facilities scattered in rural areas by developing a system. An analysis of the status of 14 underground water wells using spatial information showed that the location information at six points was specified incorrectly. On the other hand, a site investigation showed that the water vein map analysis at one point was inaccurate.

  • Now, there are some problems to manage underground facilities in domestic. Specially, in the case of KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation), it is so difficult to manage electronic line more stably and detailedly because the geographic information and attribute information being built is not easy to be updated in the field. KEPCO officials who are accompanying management and supervision in earthwork do not have sufficient knowledge and information about GIS but they grasp the information of geography and property which coincide with the field. Therefore they have to refer their business analysis contents sufficiently for more efficient lines management in the KEPCO, but it is problem that the existing information of electronic lines management system is not. In this study, we constructed power transmission and power distribution underground facility management system for the user to manage and maintain underground facilities more easily and safely using the information of geography and property about power transmission and power distribution underground facility which have been built by KEPCO.

A Standardized River Data Model Based on River Network for Building Multi-dimensional River Information System (다차원 하천 정보 체계 구축 위한 하천네트워크 기반 표준 하천 데이터 모델 개발)

  • 최근 ADCP 등 첨단장비를 활용한 유량 및 하상측정, 각종 하천기본계획 수립 시 확보되는 횡단측정 자료, 식생 및 서식처 등 하천환경과 생태자료, 드론 등을 활용한 영상자료 등 방대한 하천 정보가 확보되고 있으며, 다기능보 등 다양한 하천구조물 및 친수구역이 증가하는 등 이전과 비교하여 괄목할만한 수준으로 정보의 양이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 하천정보를 체계적으로 저장, 관리, 공유하기 위하여 표준화된 데이터 모델(Data Model)의 수립이 필요하다. 하천 정보의 경우 하천 시설물, 하천 단면측량 자료, 하천 시계열 측정 자료 등이 특정 하천을 중심으로 관리되는 반면, 기존 데이터 모델 연구에서는 특정 주제도에 기반하여 하천 정보가 레이어 형식으로 제공되어 상호 연계되지 않아 하천 정보의 효율적 관리측면에서 적합하지 않았다. 또한 신규 정보를 추가 시 기존 데이터 모델의 과다한 수정이 필요하고, 기존의 데이터 모델의 경우 표준화되지 않아 활용성이 매우 낮고, 유역중심으로 구성되어 특정 조건에 해당되는 하천 정보 검색이 어려운 단점이 존재하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 주제도 및 레이어 형식으로 구성되어 있던 데이터 모델 형식에서 벗어나 하천흐름선을 기준으로 데이터모델을 구축하는 방안을 제시하였으며, 하천흐름선과 하천 시설물, 단면 측량 자료, 계측 자료를 순차적으로 수용하고, 기존에 존재하지 않던 하천 정보의 추가 시 기존 데이터 모델의 형식을 수정하지 않고 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 관계형 데이터 모델을 구상하였다. 또한, 하천과 유역의 논리적 저장방안 고려하여 한 개의 하천을 다수의 세그먼트(Reach)로 구분하여 코드(Reach Code)를 부여하는 방안을 제시하였으며, 구상한 데이터모델을 통하여 국가하천과 지방하천 등 유역의 다양성을 포함하는 한강권역의 섬강유역을 시범하천으로 구축하였다. 제시된 하천 정보 데이터 모델을 활용하여 DB를 구축한다면 하천망을 기준으로 하천 정보가 저장되고, 기존의 유역단위의 하천 정보 제공 방식에서 하천과 유역을 모두 포함하여 검색 가능한 시스템을 구축하여 하천 정보의 관리와 제공이 수월해질 것으로 기대된다.

Decision Support Model for Selection Water Resources Facility Improvement Projects (수리시설개보수사업 선정을 위한 의사결정지원모델)

  • More than 80 % of agricultural reservoirs are old facilities over 50 years old, and safety and function declines occur. As a result, safety accidents such as the collapse of the reservoir have occurred. Precise safety diagnosis is conducted in advance to prevent accidents such as reservoir collapse, and Water resources facility improvement project are implemented based on priority. However, the priority of the business is selected based on the subjective judgment of the facility manager. In this study, we set 80 hypotheses based on the results of precision safety diagnosis and decision-making examples of existing Water resources facility improvement project and selected 45 variables using correlation analysis and significance test. Using logistic regression analysis, the final 21 variables were selected and a decision support model was presented, and the classification accuracy of the model was 86.8 %. In this research, the part that presented the quantitative index for decision support when selecting the Water resources facility improvement project has important significance.

An analysis of related parameters of the detention pond in trunk sewer considering temporal distribution of rainfall (강우의 시간적 분포를 고려한 간선저류지의 관련매개변수 분석)

  • 우리나라는 도시화 및 산업화로 도시지역의 대부분이 불투수층으로 변화하였으며, 국지성 호우의증가로 홍수 저감시설의 방어능력이 취약한 실정이다. 따라서 홍수방어 개선을 위한 여러 방안들이 이루어지고 있으며, 그 중 저류지는 도시지역에서 유역 하류의 홍수피해 저감 및 흐름을 지체시켜 유출률을 감소시키는 시설물로 홍수 저감을 위한 시설물로 가장 많이 사용되고 있다. 저류지는 큰 규모일수록 유역의 하류지역에 설치할 경우 가장 큰 유출저감효과를 가지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 저류지의 위치를 유역의 하류가 아닌 상류지역에 설치할 경우에는 단기간 강우의 시간적 분포가 강우 초기에 집중될 경우 저류지의 허용용량이 초기에 도달하게 되어 추가적인 강우가 발생할 경우 본래의 역할을 하지 못하는 경우가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 그러므로 다양한 강우강도 및 시간적 분포를 고려하여 유역의 특성 및 저류지의 설치위치에 따른 관계를 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시화, 산업화 인구집중으로 인해 동일규모의 강우에서도 우수유출이 증대되고 있는 도시지역에서 원활한 내수배제를 위해 기존의 우수관거를 연계한 저류시스템인 간선저류지 개념을 적용하여 강우강도 및 시간적 분포에 따른 간선저류지의 관련매개변수를 분석하였다. 대상유역은 세장형, 집중형, 중앙형의 3가지 형상의 가상유역으로 선정하여 다양한 지속기간의 강우량을 적용하였으며, 간선저류지의 설치위치는 전체 유역면적에 대한 저류지 상류부 면적의 비(저류지 상류부 면적비, DUAR ; Dimensionless Upstream Area Ratio)를 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%로 변화시키면서 강우의 시간적 분포에 따른 간선저류지의 매개변수 분석에 관한 연구를 진행하였다.

Functional Analysis of 4D CAD System and Improvement of Function for Applying Linear Construction Project (4D CAD시스템의 기능분석 및 선형시설물 적용을 위한 기능 개선 방안)

  • In Korea, BIM technology is applied mainly to building construction projects, but is expected to be applied rapidly to civil engineering projects because the government is currently considering the mandatory application of BIM for infrastructure facilities. Because the infrastructure project is processed in a horizontal work area, the application of BIM technology is more useful in the schedule management of the construction phase than the interference management of the design phase. The 4D CAD system is a typical BIM technology applied to the schedule management in the construction phase, but the application to the actual project is limited due to the lack of practical functions. This study examined the functions of four representative 4D CAD systems commercialized so that the selection criterion can be provided according to the characteristics of the project, and suggests that the functions that should be improved to have practicability. As a result of functional analysis, the application characteristics of each system were analyzed and the user convenience was suggested. In addition, a linear 4D simulation methodology was developed to improve the functions applicable to civil engineering projects, and ways to improve the utilization of the infrastructure projects as the construction phase BIM were suggested. In railway and road construction projects, most activities, such as earthwork, bridges, and tunnels proceed along the distance axis in a horizontal space. Therefore, a linear 4D simulation method, in which an activity is expressed along a distance axis, can be more practically useful rather than a simple 4D simulation method with a Gantt chart.

Improvement of Regulations for Establishing Spatial Information Data Base of Railway Facilities (철도시설 공간정보DB 구축을 위한 법제도 개선방안)

  • Government has established and operated GIS Data Base in such fields as land-use, road, and underground facilities since 1995. Based on these circumstances, the importance of spatial information industry began to emerge and accordingly MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) established "National Spatial Information Policy Master Plan" and "National Spatial Information Policy Action Plan". However, compared to other fields of transportation, the spatial information data base for railway facilities are not established and provided systematically. As shown in 'Korea National Spatial Data Infrastructure System', only 'transportation information' as an related information and 'transportation' field as an administrative information are included in the system. Detailed information for railway and its facilities are not included in the system. The reason why detailed information for railway facilities are not included in the system is that regulations for establishing and utilizing the spatial information of railway and its facilities are imperfect. In this study, trend of establishing spatial information and regulations related to railway and its facilities are reviewed. Through this review, improvement items such as complementing existent laws and establishing organization for managing spatial information data of railway are deduced and suggested. Based on this research 'Korea National Spatial Data Infrastructure System' could set a legal fundament and both integrated maintenance and operation of railway facilities could be possible.

Study on Changes of Street Furniture in Digital Environment (디지털 환경에서 가로시설물의 변화에 관한 연구)

  • Along with the development in cutting-edge digital technology, the street space is also being changed. Mobile telecommunication units and internet give a big change in a human being's lifestyle. And the ubiquitous computing is proceeding with expanding its application range from the indoor space to the street space. As the street furniture is the convenient facility that allows a human being's life in street space to be abundant, it is getting advanced. First of all, in terms of such phenomenon, this study analyzed the cases of a research on application of street space and the actual condition of a change in the number of individuals for the street furniture, through a literature research of ubiquitous. Also, it researched into the realities of using the street furniture of the walking-desired streets at Daehac-ro and Hongdae district, where are two representative places related to digital generation. The next was carried out FGI (Focus Group Interview) with users of the street space in front of Hongik University and managers of the street furniture, and was researched into the use & management behavior, and recognition level on the street furniture. Thus, the key elements were extracted such as interchange of information for cultural activities, automation for interaction variability in function. Finally the core elements for future vision of street furniture in this digital era were extracted in 3I, namely, Information, Intellectualization, and Integration. This is considered to be applied to the establishment of direction in the process of high-tech digitalization in street furniture related to information hereafter.
