The Relationship between Bodyguard Leisure Types and Attitude toward Leisure (경호.경비요원의 여가 유형과 여가 태도의 관계)

  • The 5 day workweek has become widespread, and more recently, the 40 hour workweek is planned to be implemented to the Korean industry by the government by 2012. It is possible that in the future, we may begin to complain about too much leisure, rather than too much work. There is a need then, for types options in leisure activity, brought about by personal choices and interests. The use of leisure time is a very personal matter. It is deeply related to types with the quality of life. Bagozzi (1981) developed a model discerning among attitude, intention and activity, that attitude affects behavioral intention, and behavioral intention affects activity. So, as behavioral activity has a deep relationship to behavioral intention, participation intention according to leisure types leads to participation in leisure activity. Sports activity and hobby and cultural activity appear to have high participation and it seems that this is reflected in behavioral attitude. Among the types of leisure satisfaction, sport activity satisfaction is associated with a more positive attitude to leisure than other types. With respect to background variables for attitude toward leisure according to leisure satisfaction, the biggest differences in attitude toward leisure were associated with sports activity.

The Impact of Parental Style, Parent-Adolescent Communication on Parent's Perception Types of Online Game (부모의 양육태도, 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식이 온라인 게임에 대한 부모의 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempts to investigate the parent's perception types of online game and their related factors. The data was collected through the online survey from 485 parents. As a result, the parent's perception types of online game were classified as 4 types. Each perception type shows differences in an attitude and reaction to online game and gender. Next, this study employed a multinomial logistic regression model to examine variables influencing the parent's perception types of online game. The result shows that parent's gender, controlling parental style, and problematic communication have statistically significant effects on the parent's perception types of online game. This study holds its significance in considering the game use of children in the context of parent-child relationship by exploring the parent's perception of online game and its influencing variables.

A Study on Cognitive Attitudes toward Death according to MBTI Personality Types (MBTI 성격유형에 따른 죽음 인지에 관한 탐색 연구)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate attitudes toward death according to personality types and to suggest the need to develop related hospice programs. Methods: Personality types were identified by the Korean version of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Form G. A questionnaire with 26 five-point Likert items was used to survey participants' attitudes toward death. Results: The ESFP personality type was most common (20%) among available 100 participants. Significant differences were observed in the attitudes towards death preparation according to personality type s. Participants with personality preference types E, T and J showed positive attitudes (P<0.05) toward death, but no significant differences were shown based on the SN index. Conclusion: The attitudes toward death differed by personality types. Therefore, this study points to the need to develop diverse hospice programs based on the personality types.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine brand reliability, product attitude, and purchase intention attitude on a difference in a type between information source (General person / Company) in Sina Weibo. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 160 people. Questionnaire was conducted from April 3-7, 2017. The analysis was used 77 people for the General posting without error and 70 people for the Corporate posting. As a result of the research, general person posting is higher preference than public posting in brand reliability(General person M=2.5455/Company M=2.1306), product attitude(General person M=2.4589/Company M=1.9690), and purchase intention(General person M=2.5974/Company M=2.2750) according to type of posting information in Sina Weiboo. The outcome of this study will help to understand consumers' attitudes according to types of sources in China SNS.

The Effectiveness of Teacher's Leadership, Class Climate and Friendship on Academic Attitudes in the Elementary School Students (초등학생들이 지각하는 교사의 지도성 유형, 학급풍토, 교우관계가 학업태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of a teacher's leadership (initiating and consideration), class climate, and friendship on academic attitudes. In order to accomplish this, 1,533 elementary school students were recruited. Descriptive statistics and path analysis were employed to examine relationships. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, there were positive correlations between academic attitudes and the teacher's leadership, class climate, and friendship. Second, results of path analysis illustrated that a teacher's leadership consideration indicator had a direct impact on class climate, friendship, and academic attitudes. Furthermore, the teacher's leadership consideration indirectly affected academic attitudes through mediation of class climate and friendship. However, the teacher's leadership initiating indicator did not have a direct impact on class climate, friendship, and academic attitude. The indices of the best fit model for these variables were adequate (GFI, NFI, CFI > 0.90). This study shows that the teacher's leadership consideration is the significant predictor for elementary school students' class climate, friendship, and academic attitudes. Finally, the meaning and limitations of this research, and its implications on academic assistance and intervention, are discussed in detail.

An Effect of Consumers' Types of Buying Behavior Values and Types of Price Discount on Product Attitude (소비자들의 구매행위 가치관 유형과 제품의 가격할인 유형이 제품태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined whether there is difference in consumers' product attitude according to the type of buying behavior values and the type of price discount among their lifestyle. First, the factors of values comprising consumers' buying behavior were derived as frugal buying, impulse buying, quality buying, and principle buying. Cluster analysis showed that the types of buying behavior value included high quality impulse buying, reasonable buying and practical buying. Second, it was found that there were differences in product attitude according to the type of consumers' buying behavior values. Third, interaction effect was found between the type of price discount and consumers' product attitude according to the type of buying behavior values. Fourth, among the factors of value comprising consumers' buying behavior, frugal buying factor has an effect on the product attitude with price discount of 50% and quality buying and impulse buying factors have an effect on the product attitude with bundle price discount (1+1). The above mentioned result of study suggests that when a company establishes a strategy of price discount, it should consider sales promotion strategy taking account of consumers' buying behavior values and type of product price discount.

The Effects of Servicescape, Brand Reputation and Experiences on Brand Attitude and Loyalty in Korean Restaurants (한식레스토랑의 서비스스케이프, 브랜드명성 및 체험유형이 브랜드태도와 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of servicescape factors(space, convenience, aesthetics, comfortableness, cleanliness), brand reputation and experiences factors(feel, think, act, relate) on emotional and cognitive reactions of visitors to Korean restaurants. It also investigated the relationship between emotional and cognitive reactions and brand loyalty. A total of 353 questionnaires were analyzed using the factor analysis, a reliability test, and structural equation modeling analysis. The results revealed that space, aesthetics and comfortableness were positively related to emotional reaction, and convenience and cleanliness were related to cognitive reaction. This study also found that brand reputation was positively related to emotional and cognitive reactions. Moreover, it was found that think was positively related to emotional reaction, and feel, think, act and relate were positively related to cognitive reaction. Finally, cognitive reaction was positively related to loyalty. Therefore, Korean restaurant marketers should introduce or strengthen servicescape, brand reputation and experiences, which increases brand attitude or loyalty.

  • In the past, to stimulate customers' rationality were used as a marketing methods but the storytelling marketing is appealing to consumers by showing product or brand value. Storytelling marketing attracts clients favorable attitude. In this research, I tried to figure out how emotional storytelling and humor advertising affects to brand attitude a quality of products according to advertising types, brand image, trust, interest, message, advertising model, intension of purchase and recommendation requisite to impact on brand attitude. As a result emotional storytelling was more effective than the humor advertising method when forming the brand attitude and brand image. Also, among the types of advertisement, emotional storytelling tended to bring a significant difference between men and women. Emotional storytelling advertisement are increasing and being competitive. Therefore, we need notable advertisement. It is a significant research to understand how advertising type affects to consumers.

A Study on the Correlation between Reading Attitude, Reading Amount, and Personality Type of College Students (대학생의 독서태도 및 독서량, 성격유형 간 상관관계 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between reading attitude, reading amount, and personality type of college students, and to prepare a plan to improve the reading rate. As a result of the study, Reading attitudes have been shown to affect reading volume, paper book reading amount, personal reading amount, and e-book reading amount. In the personality type, openness has had a positive impact on reading and reading attitudes. On the other hand, the attention was negatively affecting the reading amount and the reading attitude, except for the amount of e-book reading. The implications derived from this are as follows. First, college students need a library environment and a library environment that can read books that can read books. Second, in order to increase the reading amount of extraversion, it is necessary to conduct dynamic reading activities in the center of the activity and conduct a local reading club activity linked to community activities.
