Purpose: To evaluate the short-term follow up outcome and the effectiveness of arthroscopic vertical shift of anteroinferior capsulolabral complex, plication of AIGHLC (anterior band of inferior glenohumeral ligament complex) and thermal capulorraphy, posteroinferior suture plication, rotator interval closure as an adjuncts in recurrent instability of megafrequency with night time dislocation. Materials & Methods: From March 1998 to February 2004, we have had 18 shoulders out of 156. All of the cases have been night time dislocation above more one time. The age were average 29.4$(21{\sim}37)$ year old. The average follow up were 21.1 $(12{\sim}45)$months We checked Rowe score and ROM at pre-operation, post-operation 6 months,1 year & last follow up period. Results: Above good results were 16 cases(88.9%). The excellent were 6 cases, good were 10, fair 1, poor 1. Conclusions: In recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation in greater than 50 frequency, arthroscopic stabilization can be an alternative technique for selected patients against open inferior capsular shift. But more long ter n follow up and large materials will be needed in the future study.

In the post-modern society, creativity is redefined as a capability which collects a wide range of information and recombines them in diverse manners. With a such trend, the characteristics of collage - a method of making a creative image by combining pieces which have no relevance - is becoming prevalent in the post-modern culture. The purpose of this research is to develop a model which generates ideas in fashion design by use of collage techniques. With regard to research methodology, a literature survey was undertaken to find out and understand characteristics of collage. Analytic and positive studies were also done on the styles of fashion design of the 2003 SS collections to which collage techniques applied. In order to generate ideas in fashion design, the following mechanism using collage techniques can be used. Above all, pluralism is realized by collecting incoherent elements. Secondly, deconstruction is made by changing scales and configuration. Lastly, relativity is attained by using parts of ready-made goods and respecting their independency.

In view of our contemporary fashion, it is found that crossover between clothing and other items leads to creation of a new design and crossover of various cultural codes, ultimately creating a multicultural clothing design or any external outline of emerging costume designs by attempting mutual combination with other fields. Starting from a viewpoint that mutual combination style has significant effects on our contemporary fashion designs, this study intends to characterize external aspects of fashion design that changes through mutual combination style. This study focused upon analyzing costumes released by contemporary fashion designers after 2000, and addressed a variety of mutual combination styles. It gives various examples on mutual combination in fashion, seeking first to look into typical examples of mutual combination styling between fashion and art, between fashion and space and between fashion and technology. Based on those examples, this study classified crossover styles into 6 major categories such as attachment, suspension, modification, fusion, association and embedment. As a result, this study comes to a conclusion that external changes by mutual combination are characterized largely by overlap, simultaneity and deconstruction.

This is a retrospective study describing postoperative complication encountered with surgery performed in dogs with medial patellar luxation (MPL). During the 4-year period, 77 operations had been performed in 66 dogs for correction of MPL. The patients were surgically treated with medial soft tissue release, lateral soft tissue tightening, trochlear block recession, and/or tibial tuberosity transposition (TTT). Their prognoses were periodically evaluated for 6 months postoperatively. The failure rate was higher in revision surgery than in the first surgery, and the most common postoperative complication was migration of the tibial tuberosity fragment. The causes for the migration of the tibial tuberosity fragment were identified as the downward insertion of a surgical pin, the eccentric position of an inserted pin in the tibial tuberosity fragment, and blunt angle formation of the tibial tuberosity. It is suggested that the appropriate methods for TTT could minimize complications and lead to a good prognosis.

Metatarsophalangeal joint dislocations are unusual, and especially most dorsal metatarsophalangeal joint dislocations can be easily reduced with closed manipuations. But we are reporting a case of irreducible traumatic dislocation of the fourth, fifth metatarsophalangeal joint with closed manipulation. So open reduction was performed. Fixation with Kirschner wire was necessary because of joint instability. This report demonstrates the phathology and the reason why closed manipulation failed.

Traumatic dislocation of the peroneus longus tendon is an often unrecognized injury which has been reported to occur most commonly during sports activity. Most acute cases with early detection can be treated by simple repair of the tendon or retinaculum using one of several procedures available. Accurate treatment through a comprehensive evaluation of the ankle injury prevents suboptimal and sometimes unrecorrectable outcomes. The authors experienced concomitantly the peroneus longus tendon dislocation associated with a trimalleolar fracture of the ankle. We report this case a brief review of the literature.

Purpose: In previous study, the frequency of osteoarthritis and discomfort were high in ankle fracture-dislocation but detail results about ankle fracture-dislocation has rarely been investigated. In this study, we retrospectively analyze the outcome of the operative treatment of ankle fracture with dislocation for over-2 years follow up. Materials and Methods: There were 47 cases of ankle fracture-dislocation in our hospital from March 2007 to May 2010. We investigated 20 patients who underwent operation and were possible for over-2 years follow up. The result was estimated with the direction of dislocation, fracture type, the time of bone union and post-traumatic osteoarthritis with plain radiologic images. In clinical assessment, we statistically evaluated the function and pain through AOFAS score and Olerud & Molander scoring system. Results: By Lauge-Hansen classification, there were 13 cases(65%) of pronation-external rotation and 6 cases(30%) of supination-external rotation, 1 case(5%) of supination-adduction. AOFAS score was 85.5, and Olerud & Molander score was "excellent" in 8 cases, "good" in 5 cases, "fair" in 3 cases and "poor" in 4 cases. Postoperative complications in 4 cases revealed post-traumatic arthritis. All kinds of lateral dislocation of ankle fracture was 15 cases and the most common. Of these, all 3 cases, anterolateral dislocation showed post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Conclusion: In ankle fracture-dislocation, post-traumatic osteoarthritis occurred in 4 of 20 patient(20%). Especially, the possibility of post-traumatic osteoarthritis was more in cases of anterolateral or lateral dislocation. So, it must be needed that deliberate examination, for example, preoperative MRI and sufficient explanation to patient. Also, we have to follow up the patients carefully.

Purpose: We wanted to evalulate the clinical results of pectoris major tendon transfer for a neglected winged scapula that was caused by paralysis of the serratus anterior due to injury to the long thoracic nerve. Materials and Methods: A patient had neglected winged scapula that followed an arthroscopic operation for multi-directional instability of the shoulder joint, which was caused by traumatic dislocation. The patient was treated with pectoralis major tendon transfer using the modified Eden-Lange procedure. The range of a motion was improved from forward flexion $90^{\circ}$ and external rotation $70^{\circ}$ to $170^{\circ}$ and $150^{\circ}$ respectively. Results and Conclusion: There were no complications or recurrence and the patient's psychological satisfaction was also high. If the shoulder girdle muscles are intact, except for the serratus anterior, then pectoralis tendon transfer is a satisfactory method that can provide normal scapulo-thoracic motion.
