유선 네트웍과는 달리 무선 네트웍에서는 단말기들이 이동하기 때문에 핸드오버가 발생한다. ATM네트웍은 연결 지향통신을 하기 때문에 핸드오버가 발생하면 통신을 위한 경로를 재 설정해 주어야 한다 높은 서비스 품질을 제공하기 위해 요구되는 빠르고 효율적이며 끊김이 없는 경로 재 설정방법으로 두 단계(사용중인 경로에서 새로운 경로와의 접합점인 크로스오버 스위치)를 찾는 단계와 찾아진 크로스오버 스위치까지 새로운 경로를 설정하는 단계로 이루어지기 때문에 핸드오버 지연시간이 길고 시그널링 부담이 크다. 본 논문은 핸드오버 지연 시간을 줄이고 시그널링 부담을 최소화하기 위해 경로설정을 위한 시그널링 메시지에 기존의 경로 정보를 포함시킴으로써 크로스오버 스위치의 탐색과 부분 경로 재 설정을 한 단계로 단일화하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 방법과 비교 평가함으로써 제안하는 기법이 핸드오버 지연 시간과 시그널링 부담을 줄였음을 보인다.

브로드밴드 네트워크의 발전으로 네트워크를 통해 콘텐츠를 제공하는 TV포털이나 IPTV 서비스가 활성화되고 있으며 시청자들은 온디멘드 서비스에 익숙해지고 있다. 하지만 지상파 방송사는 방통 융합 서비스의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 양방향 네트워크를 갖고 있지 않으므로 증가하고 있는 시청자의 온디멘드 서비스 요구에 적절히 대응하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 지상파 방송사의 입장에서는 상대적으로 운용비용이 많이 드는 인터넷과 같은 양방향 네트워크의 전송 효율을 높이기 위해 온에어 DTV 채널을 기반으로 인터넷을 접목하여 TV와 PC 나아가서는 모바일 단말과 같은 다양한 단말에서 콘텐츠와 관련 데이터를 공유할 수 있는 DTV 기반의 크로스미디어 서비스가 적합하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 크로스미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 콘텐츠 제작 요소기술과 온에어와 인터넷을 통해 콘텐츠와 관련 정보를 송수신하는 요소기술을 제안하는 바이다.

크로스도킹은 물류센터의 운영 개념으로써 입고트럭에 의해 배달된 물품이 재고로써 보관됨이 없이 즉시 고객의 수요에 따라 재분류되어 출고트럭에 적재되어 고객에게 배달되는 프로세스로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 임시보관 장소를 보유한 크로스도킹 시스템의 총 운영시간을 최소화하기 위한 입고 트럭과 출고 트럭의 일정계획 수립을 위한 수학적 모델을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 모델의 적용으로 물류센터 내에서의 자재 취급 빈도 및 시간이 감소하여 제품 손상을 최소화 시키는 효과가 기대된다.

본 논문에서는 현재 게임 산업에서 다양화되는 게임 콘텐츠 개발에 필요한 비용적 측면, 시간적 측면, 인적 측면의 낭비를 최소화하기 위한 크로스 플랫폼상의 게임 개발에 대하 방아에 대하 연구를 하였다. 또한 현재 크로스플랫폼 환경하에서 개발된 게임과 그에 관련된 기술에 대해 소개하였다.

Soil and rock dynamic properties such as shear wave velocity $(V_s)$, compressional wave velocity $(V_p)$ and corresponding Poisson's ratio (v) are very important geotechnical parameters in predicting deformational behavior of structures as well as practicing seismic design and performance evaluation. In an effort to measure the parameter efficiently and accurately, various bore-hole seismic testing techniques have been, thus, developed and used during past several decades. In this study, cross-hole seismic testing technique which is known as the most reliable seismic method was adopted for obtaining geotechnical dynamic properties. To perform successfully the cross-hole test for rock as well as soil layers regardless of the ground water level, spring-loaded source which impact laterally a subsurface ground in vertical bore-hole was developed and applied at three study areas, which contain four sites composed of two existing port sites and two new LNG storage facility sites. The geotechnical dynamic properties such as $V_s,\;V_p$ and v with depth from the soil surface to the engineering and seismic bedrock were efficiently determined from the laterally impacted cross-hole seismic tests at study sites, and were provided as the fundamental parameters for the seismic performance evaluation of the existing ports and the seismic design of the LNG storage facilities.

The purpose of his study was to explore the effect of crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan on the multicultural perception of young children. The subjects of this study were one class of 21 5-year-old children(experimental group) in J kindergarten and two classes of 5-year-old children (20 children in comparative group and 20 children in control group) in S kindergarten located in Y city, totaling 61 children (31 male children and 30 female children). Twenty sessions of Crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan (rhythmic patterns) developed by the author were applied to the experimental group, musical activities focusing on traditional Korean music to the comparative group and musical classes from Nuri curriculum for 5-year-olds to the control group, respectively. The result of this study showed the following, among the sub-factors of multi-cultural perception, the scores of post-cultural openness and post-cultural acceptability showed a significantly higher level in statistical terms in the experimental group, for which crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan were conducted, than those in the comparative group and the control group. The comparative group which participated in musical activities of traditional Korean music exhibited a significantly higher level of post-cultural respectfulness statistically (than other groups). The result of this study implies that crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan have the effect of enhancing the perception of cultural openness and cultural acceptability which are the sub-factors of young children's multi-cultural perception.

In the past, musicians followed strict patterns written by composers when playing classical music. However, since the development of postmodernism, which puts an emphasis on unique individualities and various ways of thinking, following the strict patterns of classical music unquestioningly became less significant. Classical music was thought to be difficult to follow and enjoy for most people. Thus, musicians have found ways to keep the dignity of classical music but added familiarity in order to popularize arias in operas. They created classical crossover music and this type of music enabled people to enjoy easy access to classical music. However, not many studies focus on arrangement methods of changing classical music into crossover music. The goal of this study is to research on arrangement methods of crossover music based on the findings from precedent researches on operas. This study focused on analyzing musical structure including chords, rhythms and compositions of musical instruments. According to the analysis, original classical songs and popera, which is a type of crossover music, share similarities in terms of rhythms and chords. However, there are differences when it comes to compositions of musical instruments. In case of a jazz version, it uses AfroCuban rhythm as well as Bolero rhythm which is a part of ballad and jazz acoustic instruments are mainly used. Also, in order to reduce the feeling of classical music and to differentiate the jazz version from the original version, a lot of tension is used in voicing. This study can be helpful for any researches related to arrangements of classical crossover music.

많은 사람들은 IT산업이 발달하고 통신기술이 진화함에 따라 인쇄산업의 극단적인 쇠락을 전망해 왔다. 그리고 몇 년 전부터 활발히 전개되고 있는 스마트미디어의 성장은 이를 증명하는 확실한 근거가 돼 왔다. 그렇지만 이것이 반론의 여지가 없는 절대적인 진리일까? 미리 단정 짓지 말고 조금 더 진지하게 고민해 볼 문제다. 변화하는 환경에 보다 적극적이고긍정적인 자세로 접근한다면, 오히려 기회가 될 수도 있다. 인쇄산업은 빠르게 성장하는 스마트미디어와 크로스미디어를 이룰 수 있는 콘텐츠 산업의 문화적이고 기술적인 뿌리이기 때문이다.

팝의 역사에 있어 수많은 장르의 음악들은 여러 뮤지션들의 끊임없는 창작활동에 대한 노력의 결과로 생겨나고 발전 되었다. 그중에서도 밴드 "토토(Toto)"의 드러머 "제프 포카로"는 한 가지 장르가 아닌 여러 다양한 장르의 음악들을 크로스오버 하여 자신만의 음악세계를 성공적으로 구축했다. 그의 음악활동을 연구함으로서 뮤지션으로서 실험적이고 예술가적인 도전정신을 분석해 보고자 한다.
