Analysis of Keyword Search Trends Related to Adolescents and Dietary Habits Before and After COVID-19 Using Text Mining (텍스트 마이닝을 이용한 코로나19 전후 청소년과 식생활 관련 키워드 검색 경향 분석)

  • This study analyzed Naver, Daum, Google, YouTube, and Twitter using TEXTOM for two years and four years as of January 18, 2020. The results are as follows. First, the total number and volume of keyword search data related to youth and diet were slightly higher after COVID-19, showing that interest increased due to COVID-19. Second, as a result of frequency analysis, 'education' was the highest before COVID-19, and 'health' was the highest after COVID-19, showing that interest in health is increasing due to the increased importance of health and immunity due to COVID-19. Third, as a result of frequency weight analysis of the top 50 keywords, 'education' showed the highest frequency before COVID-19, and 'acne' after COVID-19. Fourth, the results visualized using word cloud showed that the keywords 'education' before COVID-19 and 'health' after COVID-19 appeared the largest and boldest, showing the highest frequency and importance. As a result of the above results, we were able to use the text mining method to apply it to eating habits, and we used materials visualized as a highly readable word cloud in units such as eating problems in adolescence and balanced meal planning and selection in the home economics curriculum to improve the teaching of the class. The direction of proper eating habits education, including using it as a medium, was presented.

A Study on the Trend Change using Trademark Information before and after COVID-19 (상표권 정보를 활용한 코로나19 전후의 트렌드 변화 연구)

  • Many studies using trademark information have suggested that trademark information is good data to monitor business trends. This study intends to analyze the trend change before and after COVID-19 using trademark information. Changes before and after COVID-19 were analyzed by using goods & service classification, similar group code, and designated goods information as trademark information. Among the trademark information, it was statistically significant that the change in trends before and after COVID-19 using designated goods names. To verify the results, the changes in keywords using designated goods names before and after COVID-19 were compared with the frequency of keywords in Google Trends. Among the top 8 keywords extracted from designated goods names, the frequency of Google trend searches for 'online, antibacterial, prevention of epidemics, meal kit, virtual' is on the rise, and 'mask, droplet' is not on the rise, but it increased rapidly at the time of COVID-19, and even after COVID-19, it showed a higher level than before. The frequency of 'unmanned' does not differ much before and after COVID-19, but it has been maintained at a consistently high level, and related businesses have been active since before COVID-19, and it can be interpreted as a keyword with high public interest. This study has academic achievements in that it specifically identified information that could be used in business trends by using three types of trademark information.

  • This study used TEXTOM for a total of 4 years, 2 years before and after, as of January 19, 2020, when the domestic confirmed cases of COVID-19 were officially announced, targeting Naver, Daum, Google, YouTube, and Twitter. By analyzing changes in adolescents' interest and awareness of their dietary habits, we aimed to create an opportunity to develop a dietary education program to provide proper dietary education. The results obtained through this study are as follows. First, the keywords with the highest co-occurrence before COVID-19 were 'nutrition' and 'counseling', and the next keywords were 'nutrition' and 'education'. After COVID-19, the order was 'nutrition', 'education', 'food' and 'safety'. Second, the results of co-occurrence frequency network analysis showed that there was high interest in nutrition and counseling regardless of COVID-19, and that interest in safety and health increased further after COVID-19. Third, through cluster formation through CONCOR analysis, before COVID-19, it was categorized into 'diet and physical activity', 'skin and disease', 'health and food', and 'nutrition and intake', and after COVID-19, it was categorized into 'nutrition, intake and COVID-19', 'diet and physical activity', 'skin and disease', and 'circadian rhythm imbalance and disease'. Fourth, as a result of the diet-related keyword cluster analysis network, before COVID-19, keywords in the 'eating and physical activity' group were strongly connected to keywords in the 'health and food' and 'nutrition and intake' groups, and after COVID-19, 'diet' Keywords in the 'and physical activity' group were strongly connected to keywords in the 'nutrition, intake, and COVID-19' group.

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 발생 전·후 공공의료를 둘러싼 사회적 인식변화를 뉴스빅데이터를 통해 파악하고자 시도되었다. 뉴스빅데이터는 코로나19 확진자가 처음 발생한 2020년 1월을 기준으로 나누었으며, 코로나19 발생 이전(2018년 1월~2019년 12월, 총 24개월) 40,834건과 코로나19가 발병 이후(2020년 1월~2021년 12월, 총 21개월) 61,761건이었다. 수집된 빅데이터는 R 4.1.1 for Windows를 활용하여 단어 빈도 분석, 연관규칙분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 코로나19 발생 전후 뉴스기사에서 공공의료를 둘러싼 핵심어를 비교할 때 코로나19 발생 후에 발생 전보다 큰 폭으로 상승한 단어는 '확산'(664%), '대응'(658%), '의사'(518%), '상황'(504%), '공공병원'(486%), '의료진'(455%), '확충'(324%), '인력'(305%), '어려움'(272%), '정부'(247%)순으로 나타났다. 코로나19 발생 전후 공공의료를 둘러싼 키워드의 연관규칙 분석을 통해서 의료의 패러다임이 일자리 산업에서 감염증 대응을 위한 보건의료로 전환되는 것을 알수 있었다.

  • It recognizes the importance of mental health and well-being worldwide and consistently records public happiness figures through the World Happiness Report. COVID-19, which occurred in China in 2019, has changed people's daily lives a lot. The accumulation of stress caused by the prolonged epidemic is affecting people's happiness. The present research has revealed negative mental health effects such as "depression" and "anxiety" after the pandemic. In this regard, it was revealed that the happiness index was also lowered numerically. It is insufficient to analyze specific issues about changes in the issue of happiness felt by the public in Korean society after the epidemic. Therefore, this study aims to identify changes in the happiness issue of Koreans after COVID-19 and find ways to improve happiness. Data were collected from various aspects by searching 32 sub keywords based on ERG theory by dividing the period before and after COVID-19. The results of topic modeling before and after COVID-19 were classified into seven areas of happiness index 2.0 published by the National Assembly Future Research Institute and compared and analyzed. Based on the results of comparing the results of the before and after topic from the perspective of each area, a plan to improve happiness was presented. The academic implications of this paper are that the research on psychological changes caused by COVID-19 was expanded by mining the opinions of the actual public on 'happiness'. In addition, it has practical implications in that it specifically presented measures to promote happiness by utilizing the area of objective happiness indicators based on the existing research on ways to reduce happiness promotion unhappiness.

A systematic review on on-line education in mathematics education: Focused on before and after COVID-19 (수학 교육에서의 온라인 교육에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰: COVID19 전후를 중심으로)

  • On-line education in mathematics education changed in various aspects before and after COVID-19. This study conducted a systematic literature review of 98 academic papers on on-line education published from 2017 to 2023 in the field of mathematics education before and after COVID19. In particular, this study conducted content analysis to organize on the definitions of various similar terms related to online education. In addition, this study explored research trends on year, research subject, research method, on-line education type, and research topic by the pre-COVID-19, COVID-19, and post-COVID-19 era. Also, a comparative analysis was conducted on literatures on the effects of online education. As a result, first, it was confirmed that there is a need to organize the definitions of terms similar to online education. Also, the implications of identifying the differences and hierarchies between each term can be found. Second, it was confirmed that teachers' expertise for on-line mathematics education was emphasized based on the result of the rapid increase in the number of on-line education studies on teachers since COVID-19. Third, it was confirmed that the number of studies on blended and flipped learning was high in pre-COVID-19, but decreased in the COVID-19 era. Instead, in the COVID-19 era, studies on real-time interactive classes were rapidly active, and even in the post-COVID-19 era, studies on real-time interactive classes still occupied a large proportion. Finally, it was confirmed that the effectiveness of on-line education varies depending on the research background and model. Accordingly, the need to be cautious in interpreting the results of each study on the effectiveness of on-line education was confirmed. Based on these findings, this study presented implications for future research on on-line education in mathematics education.

Analyzes the Changes in the Curricula of Computer and Software-Related Majors in Line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Comparing the Periods Before and After the COVID-19 Pandemic in KOREA. (코로나19 펜데믹 전후 컴퓨터 및 소프트웨어 관련 전공의 제4차 산업혁명중심 교과과정 변화 분석)

  • This paper analyzed the changes in the curriculum of computer and software-related majors that educate the core ICT technologies needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution, before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the standard classification of university education units, 172 majors classified into Applied Software Engineering, Computer Science·Computer Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering were targeted, and the curricula of 2023 and 2019 were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the introduction of the related curriculum for each curriculum group increased by about 2.6%p before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (2023 84.2%, 2019 81.6%). and the 4th Industrial Revolution response index increased by 9.5 points (37.0 in 2023, 27.5 in 2019)

  • As Netflix usage has increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, users' experiences with the service have also increased. Therefore, this study aims to conduct topic modeling analysis based on Netflix review data to explore the changes in Netflix user experience and service before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. We collected Netflix app review data from the Google Play Store using the Google Play Scraper library, and used topic modeling to examine keyword differences between app reviews before and after the pandemic. The analysis revealed four main topics: Netflix app features, Netflix content, Netflix service usage, and Netflix overall reviews. After the pandemic, when user experience increased, users tended to use more diverse and detailed keywords in their reviews. By using Netflix review data to analyze users' opinions, this study shows the changes in user experience of Netflix services before and after the pandemic, which can be used as a guide to strengthen competitiveness in the competitive OTT market.

A Comparative Analysis of OTT Service Reviews Before and After the Onset of the Pandemic Using Text Mining Technique: Focusing on the Emotion-Focused Coping and Nostalgia (텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 코로나 19 전후 온라인 동영상 서비스(OTT) 리뷰 비교분석 연구 - 정서 중심 대처와 노스탤지어를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior during the COVID-19 by comparing blog reviews of an over-the-top (OTT) online video service from before and during the pandemic. We anticipate that the COVID-19 outbreak prompts the use of the OTT service as part of an emotion-focused coping strategy derived from the loss of personal control and the subsequent avoidance motivation. We also posit that a strong yearning for life before COVID-19 will increase interest in the content that fulfills a need for nostalgia. Our analysis of Netflix reviews provides empirical evidence of the effects of an emotion-focused coping strategy and nostalgia on OTT service usage. First, the titles of the reviews posted during COVID-19 indicate that consumers were less likely to mention OTT services other than Netflix, more interested in domestic content, and used OTT services as an avoidance-denial strategy. Second, the blog content demonstrates that while pre-COVID reviews tend to focus on the practical benefits of OTT services, those posted during the pandemic focus on mood, emotions, and dialogue. In addition, interest in comedy and romance genres increased during COVID-19. Third, we identified a greater preference for realistic or everyday content that depicted the pre-pandemic era. This is the first empirical study to investigate the effects of COVID-19 on video streaming usage in Korea. In addition, this research contributes to the field of marketing by expanding our understanding of online video service users during COVID-19 and identifies practical implications for OTT services in the midst of a pandemic.
