내년 4월 1일부터 가공품 및 농산물의 원산지 표시대상이 확대되고 표시방법도 훨씬 자세해진다. 제과점의 경우 원래 식빵에만 해당됐던 농산물 원산지표시가 일반 빵, 도넛, 캔디류, 초콜릿 등으로 확대되고 표시 내용도 많아지는 탓에 제품포장과 이름표 재정비에 서둘러 나서야 할 것으로 보인다.

Cowden's syndrome is a harmatomatous polyposis syndrome with characteristic mucocutaneous lesions and among the spectra of clinical disorders that has been attributed to germline mutations in the PTEN gene. Although Cowden's syndrome has rarely been reported, immunologic studies have revealed that patients with this syndrome have humoral and/or cellular immune abnormalities. We recently identified a 21-year-old woman with Cowden's syndrome who was diagnosed with candida esophagitis without a history of diabetes, carcinoma, or steroid therapy. We report the immunologic status of this patient and the relationship with candida esophagitis on the basis of a literature review.

이 회사의 특허의식은 현사장 태송달영이 회사 창립전에 개인명의로 그때까지 알루미늄제였던 아이스캔디성형기를 프라스틱기로 특허출원한 것이 시작이었지만, 지금은 1958년 12월 실용신안등록출원인 $\ulcorner$우유수송관의 밀봉장치$\lrcorner$(등록제566959호)가 이 회사 특허관리의 제1호이다. 이후로 1960년 4월에 발명협회에 입회, 1966년 6월에 일본특허협회 입회, 1967년 12월 개발부 산하특허과로서 전담요원을 두기에 이르렀다. 지금은 취체역개발부장을 수석으로 개발부 특허과에서 개발 및 기획디자인업무의 정보제공을 시작하여 출원$\cdot$권리보존$\cdot$계약$\cdot$분쟁등을 주요한 업무로 하고 있다.

자판기 관련사업의 경기가 말이 아니다. 대외적인 경기침체의 악재와 더불어 "정말 힘드네..."하는 신음소리가 곳곳에서 들린다. 더욱 심각한 문제는 자판기 사업 메리트가 과거보다 점점 떨어진다는 점이다. 돈 될만한 아이템도 드물고, 기존 아이템의 사업성도 점점 떨어지는 현실. 정말 답답하기 그지없는 상황에서 '어떻게 하면 돌파구를 찾을 수 있을까?'에 골몰하지 않을 수 없다. 기존 아이템의 시장이 막히면 어떻게든지 다른 사업모델을 찾는 일이 불황 타파의 좋은 해법이 될 수 있다. 예주테크코리아의 손민호 사장은 이 부분에 주목하고 있는 사람이다. 그는 기존 자사의 주력 사업영역인 껌볼 캔디 자판기 사업이 부진해지는 양상을 보이자 발빠르게 다른 사업 모델을 찾아 나섰다. 도대체 최근 사업에 무슨 일이 있기에 "사업 다각화를 해야 살아남는다"고 주창하고 있는 것일까?

지난 2001년 국내에서 옥션을 인수하며 인터넷 경매시장에 새 바람을 일으킨 전자상거래업체 이베이(www.evay.com)는 매일 새로운 역사를 쓰고 있는 세계벤처기업사에 이정표가 되는 인터넷 시대의 대명사와 같은 존재다. 이베이는 '미국 자본주의 역사상 가장 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있는 기업'으로 불린다. 잘 나가는 벤처기업이라면 첨단 기술산업의 특성상 초고속성장을 거듭하는 것이 당연하지만, 이베이는 매분기 40%이상 성장하며 전 세계의 상품구입과 판매 등 유통기업의 문화적 패러다임을 바꾼 유례 없는 성장으로 세계를 놀라게 하는 경이적인 기록을 이어가고 있기 때문이다.

The purpose of this study was to antibacterial effect of solanum nigrum extra in candida albicans. In this study, the antibacterial effects of 70% methanol extract and solanum nigraum were investigated. The content of flavonoids and polyphenol contents in solanum nigrum extraction. The antimicrobial activity was determined by spectrophotometric growth inhibition assay(optical density) and colony forming untis (CFU) for the candida albicans. Total contents were flavonoids and polyphenols of solanum nigrum, the result was $8.23{\pm}0.13mg/g$ and $14.97{\pm}1.58mg/g$, respectively. The CFU results showed lower CFU counts in the experimental groups compared to the control group. And the result of the bacterial viability was decreased in the experimental group. Therefore the extracts of solanum nigrum were found to have antimicrobial activity in candida albicans. From the these results, solanum nigrum extracts have a possibility to be a candidate for natural antibacterial components in dental products.

According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, USA) recently it was reported that the children (< 5 year-old children) were more susceptible to Foodborne-illness. Confectionery products should be strictly controlled because they are children-preferred foods. Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS, South of Korea) tried to monitor contamination of organisms in confectionery products (such as biscuits, candies, chewing gums and ice candies) distributed in South Korea. MFDS evaluated the levels of indicator organisms: total aerobic bacteria, coliforms, Escherichia coli as well as the levels of food-borne illness organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Clostridium perfringens. Experimental plans for microbiological test were in accordance with the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Food (ICMSF). For this study, 1,005 samples were collected and from Seoul and Gyeongin region, South Korea. The average level of total aerobic bacteria in 1,005 samples was 1.7 log Colony Forming Unit(CFU)/g and the detection rate was 26.8%. The average level of Bacillus cereus was detected in 1.7 log CFU/g and the rate was 0.9%. There was no detection of coliforms, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Clostridium perfringens. The results of this study will be provided as the basic data to set the reasonable microbiological criteria of Korea Food Code.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vitro antifungal effect of several kinds of denture lining materials containing nystatin and silver-zeolite on Candida albicans. Three commercially available tissue conditioners (Soft-Liner, Coe-Comfort, Coe-Soft) and two direct denture relining materials (Tokuso Rebase, Durabase) were selected. In terms of the zone of inhibition and some basic physical properties, I could find the following results ; 1. Nystatin or silver-zeolite included in those relining materials had definite antifungal activities against the Candida albicans. 2. As times went on, both of the antifungal agents's activities decreased gradually. 3. Antifungal agents did not affect the relining materials' basic physical properties. 4 Direct chairside relining materials showed unfavorable dark discoloration with response to silver-zeolite.
