The Effects of Eco-friendly Paper Container Cosmetics Purchasing Motivation on Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention (친환경 종이 용기 화장품 구매 동기가 만족 및 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we tried to find out how it affects the motivation, satisfaction, and repurchase intention of eco-friendly paper container cosmetics. To this end, a survey was conducted and a total of 190 questionnaires were analyzed. The main results are as follows: Symbolicity, aesthetics, and practicality, which are the components of purchase motivation, have a significant effect on satisfaction, and both aesthetics and practicality have a significant effect on repurchase intention. In addition, satisfaction with eco-friendly paper container cosmetics has a significant impact on repurchase intentions. Therefore, it is believed that eco-friendly paper container cosmetics marketing managers should present marketing measures that emphasize practicality, the motivation for purchasing, which has the biggest impact on satisfaction and repurchase intentions.

Development of Metal-free Pump and Uni-material Packaging for Cosmetics to Improve Recycling (재활용성 향상을 위한 화장품용 메탈프리 펌프 및 유니소재 패키징 개발)

  • Cosmetic packing materials tend to be difficult to recycle when discarded due to the cosmetic industry's pursuit of aesthetics, functionality, and high value-added design. Pump packaging, which is widely used for the good preservation and discharge of cosmetics contents, is difficult to be separated and recycled because of a metal spring, which is in charge of pump resilience. In this study, a polypropylene spring was developed to replace the existing metal spring to improve the recyclability of the pump packaging for cosmetics, and was uni-materialized by applying to the cosmetic packing materials with 0.2 ml of discharge amount. In addition, performance test was conducted to verify the equivalence with the existing metal spring pumps as grounds for the commercialization of metal-free uni material pump packaging. The decompression leak test showed no leakage and displayed 14.8~17.5 N of pressing strength, 2.3~8.8 % of deviation in dispensing volume, and 4 occasions of pumping for initial discharge.

  • 제13회 그린패키징 공모전 시상식이 지난해 12월 11일 서울 전경련회관에서 진행됐다. 그린패키징 공모전은 (사)한국환경포장진흥원(원장 이명용)이 우수한 친환경 포장기술 및 디자인을 발굴해 시상하는 것으로 세계적 친환경 추세에 맞춰 포장 부문의 인재 양성과 개발 촉진을 목적으로 한다. 이번 공모전에는 총 106점이 출품돼 대상(환경부장관상) 2점, 최우수상 4점 등 40점이 수상의 영광을 안았다. 대상은 (주)LG생활건강의 '폐플라스틱 열분해유를 활용한 화장품 용기 개발', CJ제일제당(주) '햇반용기 다층 스크랩 재사용 기술'이 차지했다. 공모전 관계자는"2022년 12회 그린패키징 공모전 때보다 학생부문 출품수가 2배 이상 증가하였으며, 출품작 수준도 우열을 가릴 수 없을 정도로 많이 향상 됐다"고 밝혔다.

  • Generally, The women was used in the cosmetic cushion fact. It has developed with the consideration of manufacturing. In this study, we designed green-friendly and element parts lower and single cushion fact containers using a single material. Injection mold simulation were performed using on 3D design data. The injection mold simulation used the data (Injection time / Cooling time / Temperature / Pressure) in the injection mold parameters. In addition, the sink mark phenomenon in the simulation results is analyzed as a problem due to the thickness and further research is needed in the future.

  • The ecofriendly yellow ocher is used in the manufacturing of cosmetics, construction, and food packaging. The polyethylene terephthalate (PET) used for manufacturing food containers has a microporous structure that causes aeration. Hydrophilic yellow ocher may be applied to hydrophobic PET by surface modification to overcome this issue. The aim of this study is to fabricate a yellow ocher polystyrene hybrid structure in the form of nanoparticles using an optimizing molar ratio of styrene, divinylbenzene, and potassium peroxodisulfate for use in emulsion polymerization. The polymerization was conducted in a yellow ocher suspension that was prepared by dispersing mechanically ground yellow ocher in DI water. The prepared hybrid structure was measured using scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The measurement revealed the spherical morphology and Si component that resulted from the yellow ocher in the polystyrene particles. We expect that this hybrid structure would be used as platform material to minimize aeration in PET.

  • As the consumer market in the cosmetic, vehicle manufacturing and aerospace industries grows, the demand for manufacturing industries using on injection mold technology. Also, such manufacturing technology of metal machining is expensive, and the shape is limited. Cosmetic cushion fact products are divided into outer relevant to the exterior of the product and inner containers containing the actual contents. In the case of the inner container, it needs to be combined with the upper and lower cases. As environmental regulations are strengthened internationally, the use of a large number of component parts can result in significant losses in recycling and economics. Therefore, this study aims to perform injection molding analysis through injection molding simulation to develop a cushion fact container that can be recycled through the unification of products and materials using polypropylene to cope with environmental regulations. In the case of injection molding conditions, Injection Time(sec): 4.5, Cooling Time(sec): 13, Resin Temperature($^{\circ}C$): 240, and Pressure(MPa): 30 were determined. The results of injection molding simulation according to the two design methods were compared with the sync mark which shows the problem of filling and injection molding.
