  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to study the efficacy of qigong therapy for various illnesses. Methods: Healing of a variety of patients and people connected to a hospital at the East-West Medical Hospital in Vienna, Austria, was carried out. A total of 38 healers healed from 1,131 people in a total of 3 times in the hospital, and the evaluation of healing efficiency conducted by 134 physician evaluation teams in the hospital itself. Results: In 2002, 80% of the patients had a "good" healing efficiency for 96 patients treated at the first session in the hospital. In the second round of 2004, the satisfaction rate of healing efficiency was over 75%. In the third session in 2006, 71.6% were satisfied with the satisfaction level of "Good," and 1,131 people evaluated with an average of 75.5%. This result suggests that qigong healing is very efficient. Conclusions: The average healing efficiency of soojung qigong for various diseases was 75.5% or higher, indicating that qigong is one of the best natural healing therapies.

중재 전과 후에 맥파측정기(uBioMacpa)를 이용하여 HRV(TP, VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF, CSI: Cumulative Stress Index)와 회복탄력성 지수를 측정하고 비교 분석했다. 결과: HRV를 분석한 결과, 프로그램 중재 후 연구 대상자의 TP(8.64%, p<.001), VLF(6.96%, p<.05), LF(15.86%, p<.001), HF(8.46%, p<.01), LF/HF(5.77%, p<.05)는 유의하게 증가하였고, CSI는 유의하게 감소하였다(16.06% p<.001).

  • The purpose of the study is to realize and develop the healing process that applies the Forest Healing Program to complementary and alternative therapies within the integrated medical health care place call ' Healing Forest'. Various healing programs need to develope and distribute to educate tentatively name ' Forest Healing Instructor' whom will be the key roll player on the program. Hereupon, collected the feedback of the program from 20 of professors, health care professionals and complementary alternative related professionals who are deeply related on the dendrology using Delphi examine. The study suggests the professional, who knows on dendrology, base medicine knowledge and healing power, Forest Healing Instructor Course includes education and assessment method base on education subject, course complete scope, instructor curriculum, education goal and education operation process. • To answer the question whether last clonogenic cell should be eradicated for the tumor to be controlled, radiation tumor control study was performed using microscopic tumors of variable sizes ranging from 101 to 10s tumor cells. $TCD_{50}'s$ estimated from experimental data were 14.8, 27. 1, 42.4, 49.9 and 65.5 Gy for $10^1,\;10^2,\;10^3,\;10^4\;and\;10^4$ tumor cells, respectively. Theoretical calculations, assuming that all the clonogenic cells should be inactivated, were 15.65, 8.50, 40.97, 53.41 and 65.85 Gy. From this well matched data, it can be concluded that all the clonogenic cells should be eradicated for tumor control, at least in this tumor model.

  • Background: A validation study is needed to make domestic applications of German Kneipp therapy. Purpose: The study aims to test the effect of a Kneipp therapeutic program in a domestic forest environment on the autonomic nervous system. Methods: The program was made considering the 4 key elements ('exercise', 'regulative therapy', 'nutrition', and 'phytotherapy') of the Kneipp therapy. Total 3 sessions (once a week for 5 hours in each session) were performed to 40 domestic adults divided into four groups (10 in each group). HRV was measured on the subjects before and after the intervention, and its 6 characteristic parameters (TP, VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF, CSI: Cumulative Stress Index) were compared for statistical analysis. Results: For 33 subjects excluding 7 who were disturbed by interrupt factors during measurements, significant improvements after the intervention, were observed in TP(8.64%, p < ..001), VLF(6.96%, p < .05), LF(15.86%, p < .001), HF(8.46%, p < .01), LF/HF(5.77%, p < .05) and CSI(-16.06%, p < ..001). Conclusions: The Kneipp therapy performed in the forest environment was shown to activate the autonomic nervous system and in particular the sympathetic and parasympatheric nervous to promote heart activity, and was also shown to most significantly reduce cumulative stress. The present observations would be the first preliminary evidence that the Kneipp therapeutic interventation in a domestic forest environment results in positive responses of the autonomic nervous system including stress relief.

  • This study states a perennial question of "what should we do to heal oneself?" so that teenagers can build the ability to healing themselves at home economics education. The purpose of this study is to development a practical problem focused pedagogical programs and teaching-learning process plans for healing education in the home economics education. For this study, perennial concern and practical problem of healing related to home economics education were identified through the review of the literature related to the Korean and United States' home economics education curricula, and based on the analysis of educational cases in Korea and the United States, a practical-problem-focused program was designed for healing education. Teaching-learning process plans have been developed for practical reasoning instruction based on the designed practical-problem-focused programs and three systems of action. Finally, experts evaluated the developed practical-problem-focused program and teaching-learning process plans for healing education. This study is expected tp serve as the basis for Healing Education in Home Economics Education.

  • In this study, the validity of the forest therapy process, in which forest activities using forest therapy factors lead to immunity promotion and health promotion, was analyzed theoretically and qualitatively to refine and systemize the forest therapy concept. Research and analysis data were collected from the websites of institutions related to forest therapy; 33 theses and 33 original research articles from 2000 to March 2020 were searched for forest therapy key words, as well as the prize winning work of the 2016 forest therapy experience essay. A word cloud was generated by frequency of nouns and adjectives and from the key words in the web pages, theses, articles, and the forest therapy experience essay. Through interpretation of word frequency, the systemic flow of forest therapy was defined. The results suggest that the source of forest therapy's power was a positive experience of the forest and an improved attitude toward nature as well as forest therapeutic factors. The therapeutic effect is maximized through the forest healing program, leading to physical and mental resilience and resistance; consequently, health and immunity are promoted. From this study, forest therapy is proposed as "a health promotion activity for the psychological, physical, and spiritual resilience of the subjects through various environmental factors of the forest, positive experiences, and attitudes toward the forest."
