This study aimed at identifying the significant effects and effectiveness of patients with mild dementia when using personalized reminiscence therapy digital services using AI voice technology. In the process of interpreting the results of stakeholder interviews, the design idea of personal customization using voice AI technology was derived, and prototypes were created and usability tests were conducted in the first and second rounds. The main results are as follows: Since reminiscence therapy itself is highly influenced by personal experience and can receive customized care guides based on treatment status and results through customized treatment programs, the concept of personalization can improve the quality of treatment than existing treatment methods. However, it is expected that the usability of the service will further increase if we study micro-interactions that can prevent errors and increase usability, as issues that may arise due to the forgetting cognitive characteristics of mild dementia patients are observed.

According to the Clinical Research Center for Dementia, 840,000 Koreans aged 65 or older had dementia patients, with a prevalence rate of 10.39%. The prevalence rate is one in 10 elderly people, but difficult for families to take care of them all day. Judged that possible to manage the conditions and schedules of elderly people living alone by utilizing AI speaker system where schedule management is stored. This paper implements modules for AI schedulers in patients with dementia. Configured to link AWS, a remote IOT, inside the raspberry pi, and to output the schedule to speakers using a calendar from Google API. Through this study, judged that ease of scheduling will help manage and schedule dementia patients.

This study was performed to investigate the effects of Occupation based Reminiscence therapy on cognitive function, depression, and quality of life in elderly patients with mild dementia. Thirty-one elderly patients with mild dementia underwent Occupation based Reminiscence therapy for 40 minutes per session, once weekly, for 8 weeks. Montreal Cognitive Assessment Korean Version (MoCA-K), Short Form of Geriatric Depression Scale-Korean Version (SGDS-K), and Geriatric Quality of Life-Dementia (GQOL-D) were used to measure cognitive function, depression level, and quality of life, respectively. Mean MoCA-K score increased from $14.62{\pm}5.07$ before intervention to $16.88{\pm}4.55$ after intervention; mean SGDS-K score decreased from $7.28{\pm}4.28$ to $6.10{\pm}4.09$, and mean GQOL-D score increased from $26.05{\pm}5.45$ to $28.55{\pm}5.74$. Furthermore, these positive changes were all statistically significant. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded Occupation based Reminiscence therapy may positively affect cognitive function, depression, and quality of life in elderly patients with mild dementia.

VR based dementia service is emerged as elderly population is increasing with potential welfare cost. Current Dementia Center cannot solve the complicated problems, including limited size, case management, medical support, medical cost and care cost, and the lack preventive environment. VR based dementia service is suggested from three reasons: First, VR shows easy access and convenience; Second, development of cognitive health is easy and fun; Third, Predictive way of cognitive decline can be possible with Big Data.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect the social distance between the demented elderly and nursing college students. In this study, responses from 158 nursing college students in city D were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed. As a result, the correlation between variables, social distance, and dementia attitude towards the demented elderly (r = .53, p<.001) showed a statistically correlated relationship, while ageism (r = -.41, p<.001) showed a negative correlation. The results of this study are as follows: first, the interactions between the elderly with dementia and the nursing college students were more frequent (${\beta}=.29$ p=.012), and second, attention to early prevention of dementia (${\beta}=.32$ p=.002) was significant. The explanatory power of these influential factors on the social distance toward the demented elderly was 41.0%.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to research on dementia and policy making by reviewing research trends of dementia for 15 years and it was collected from 12,588 dementia - related research data for 15 years at Google 's scalar site. The results of this study confirm that the research on dementia, one of the most common geriatric diseases, is continuously increasing. Second, research on dementia is increasing due to social influences such as government support. Third, we suggested that dementia is changing from a viewpoint of diseases to be managed at the facility and treatment of severe dementia patients to a paradigm from the viewpoint of management of mild patients and community participation. Fourth, dementia seems to be shifting from a serious and negative awareness to a social atmosphere that is accepted as a slow but manageable disease. This is changing to a dementia-friendly social environment, which is making a very positive environmental change. This study contributes to the field research by presenting the trend of domestic research on dementia.
