Analysis on Canal System for Daily Irrigation Simulation (관개용수로 수리시뮬레이션을 통한 농업용수조직 거동 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 관개용수로에서의 용수공급에 따른 용수분배 현상을 모의하고, 개선방안을 제시하기 위한 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 관개용수로와 같은 인공적인 수로에서는 흐름의 상태가 취수공, 분수공, 수문 등과 같은 수리시설의 조작에 의해 흐름이 시간적, 공간적으로 변하게 되는 비정상류가 주가 된다. 이러한 비정상류 해석은 농업용수 관리를 위한 관개계획 수립, 농업용 수리시설물의 설계 및 관리에 있어서 중요한 요인이 된다. 용수로의 부정류 해석을 위한 유한차분식으로 구성되는 모형을 개발하여 용수로를 일정구간으로 분할하여 각 구간별 수위와 유속의 변화를 계산하게 된다. 계산된 결과는 현장에서 실측된 수위모니터링 자료와 현장 유량측정자료로 비교하여 모형의 적정성을 검정하였다. 용수로내의 흐름에 대하여 각 구간의 용수도달시간, 관개블록에 대한 분수유량을 산정한 결과는 현장 측정자료와 잘 일치하고 있는 것으로 나타나 관개계획을 수립하는 데 이용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

Analysis of the Relationship Between Preservice Teachers' Mathematical Understanding in Visual Expressions and Problem-Posing Ability: Focusing on Multiplication and Division of Fractions (예비교사의 시각적 표현에서의 수학적 이해와 문제 만들기 능력의 관련성 분석: 분수의 곱셈과 나눗셈을 중심으로)

  • This study examined the relationship between preservice teachers' mathematical understanding and problem posing in fractions multiplication and division. To this purpose, 41 preservice teachers performed visual representation and problem posing tasks for fraction multiplication and division, measured their mathematical understanding and problem posing ability, and examined the relationship between mathematical understanding and problem posing ability using cross-tabulation analysis. As a result, most of the preservice teachers showed conceptual understanding of fraction multiplication and division, and five types of difficulties appeared. In problem posing, most of the preservice teachers failed to pose a math problem that could be solved, and four types of difficulties appeared. As a result of cross-tabulation analysis, the degree of mathematical understanding was related to the ability to pose problems. Based on these results, implications for preservice teachers' mathematical understanding and problem posing were suggested.

A Construction of 'Decimal Fraction' Unit of Elementary Mathematics Textbook and Analysis of Students' State of Understanding Based on Measurement Activity (초등수학에서 측정활동에 기반한 소수의 학습.지도 방안 및 학생의 이해 실태 분석)

  • In this thesis, we inquire into teaching method of decimal fraction concept in elementary mathematics education based on measurement activity. For this purpose, our research tasks are as follows: First, we design a experimental learning-teaching plan of 'decimal fraction' unit in 4th grade textbook and verify its effect. Second, after teaching experiment using experimental learning-teaching plan, we analyze the student's status of understanding about decimal fraction concept. As stated above, we have performed teaching experiment which is ruled by new lesson design and analysed the effects of teaching experiment. Through this study, we obtained the following results. First, introduction of decimal fraction based on measurement activity promotes student's understanding of measuring number and decimal notation. Second, operator concept of decimal fraction is widely used in daily life. Its usage is suitable for elementary mathematics education within the decimal notation system. Third, a teaching method of times concepts using place value expansion of decimal fraction is more meaningful and has less possibility of misunderstanding than mechanical shift of decimal point. Fourth, teaching decimal fraction through the decimal expansion helps students with understanding of digit 0 contained in decimal fraction, comparing of size and place value. Fifth, students have difficulties in understanding conversion process of decimal fraction into decimal notation system using measurement activity. It can be done easily when fraction is used. However, that is breach to curriculum. It is necessary to succeed research for this.

Acoustic Channel Formation and Sound Speed Variation by Low-salinity Water in the Western Sea of Jeju during Summer (여름철 제주 서부해역의 저염분수로 인한 음속변화와 음파채널 형성)

  • Salinity does not generally affect sound speed because it shows very small variations in the ocean. However, low salinity water appears in the Western Sea of Jeju Island every summer so that sound speed and sound propagation can change near sea surface. We calculated Sound Speed Profile (SSP) using vertical profiles of temperature and salinity, which were averaged over years of normal salinity and low salinity (<28 psu) from 30 years (1980~2009) at 3 sites of Korea Oceanographic Data Center (KODC). As a result, sound speed variation by low salinity alone was -5.36 m/s at sea surface and -1.35 m/s at 10m depth for low salinity environments. Gradient of SSP was positive down to 5 m depth due to decrease of sound speed near surface, leading formation of haline channel. Simulation of acoustic propagation using a ray model (Bellhop) confirmed the haline channel. Haline channel has formed 4 times while hydrostatic channel controlled by only pressure has formed 9 times for 30 years. The haline channel showed larger critical angles of rays than hydrostatic channel. Haline channel was also formed at some sites among 20 measurement sites in low salinity water mass which appeared on August $1^{st}$ 2010.

Improvement of the accuracy of XBT based underwater sound speed using the unmanned maritime system and satellite remote sensing data in the Yellow Sea (해양무인체계와 위성 원격탐사 자료를 이용한 XBT 기반의 황해 수중음속 정확도 향상 방안)

  • A logical measure is suggested to estimate an accurate Sound Speed Profile (SSP) for the unusual variation of salinity in the Yellow Sea. Based on National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)'s Aqua and Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite data, this measure identifies the area of temperature inversion effect and expansion of low salinity (<30.5 psu) water. Subsequently, on the area, the Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth (CTD) mounted unmanned maritime system estimates accurate SSP. In order to carry out this measure conveniently, a flow chart is demonstrated in this research. By using this measure which finds the high variational salinity area, the inaccuracy issue for calculating SSP from Expandable Bathy Thermograph (XBT) is expected to be solved.

  • 임분 단위의 재적 및 생체량은 LiDAR 자료의 높이 분포변수들로부터 추정될 수 있다. LiDAR 자료의 높이 분포변수들은 재적을 측정하는 임분고(stand height)와 임분평균 지하고(mean crown base height), 그리고 수관형태에 따른 평균수관장(mean crown depth) 등의 변수와 직 간접적인 연관성이 있다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서는 잣나무림의 샘플지역에서 반사된 LiDAR 자료의 높이분포변수를 이용하여 임분단위의 수간재적을 추정한 다음, 앞 세부연구에서 수행한 방법을 이용하여 임분의 생체량을 추정하였다. 변수는 임분 내에서 반사되는 LiDAR 자료의 평균높이, 최대 최소높이, 높이값들의 표준편차, 변이계수, 첨도, 왜도, 식생반사비율, 10분위 높이자료와 강도데이터의 기술통계량 등을 사용하였다. 그리고, 최종적인 임분수간재적은 다중회귀분석을 통하여 수행되었다. 다중회귀분석을 통하여 각 변수들은 임분수간재적과 가장 관련있는 2~3개의 변수들로 추려졌으며, 추정된 회귀식의 결정계수는 0.66으로 분석되었다. 또한 유보표본을 이용하여 검증한 결과의 결정계수는 0.59로 분석되어 LiDAR 자료의 높이분포변수들은 임분의 재적을 비교적 잘 설명할 수 있음이 밝혀졌다.

A Wideband ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ Frequency Synthesizer for T-DMB/DAB/FM Applications in $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS (T-DMB/DAB/FM 수신기를 위한 광대역 델타시그마 분수분주형 주파수합성기)

  • This paper presents a wideband ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ fractional-N frequency synthesizer for a multi-band single chip CMOS RFIC transceivers. A wideband VCO utilizes a 6-bit switched capacitor array bank for 2340~3940 MHz frequency range. VCO frequency calibration circuit is designed for optimal capacitor bank code selection before phase locking process. It finishes the calibration process in $2{\mu}s$ over the whole frequency band. The LO generation block has selectable multiple division ratios of ${\div}2$, ${\div}16$, and ${\div}32$ to generate LO I/Q signals for T-DMB/DAB/FM Radio systems in L-Band (1173~1973 MHz), VHF-III (147~246 MHz), VFH-II (74~123 MHz), respectively. The measured integrated phase noise is quite low as it is lower than 0.8 degree RMS over the whole frequency band. Total locking time of the ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ frequency synthesizer including VCO frequency calibration time is less than $50{\mu}s$. The wideband ${\Delta}{\Sigma}$ fractional-N frequency synthesizer is fabricated in $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS technology, and it consumes 15.8 mA from 1.2 V DC supply.

A Study on the Learning-Teaching Plan about a Essential Concept of Decimal Fraction Based on Decimal Positional Notation (위치적 십진기수법을 본질로 하여 조직한 소수 개념 지도 방안 연구)

  • In this thesis, we designed a experimental learning-teaching plan of 'decimal fraction concept' at the 4-th grade level. We rest our plan on two basic premises. One is the fact that a essential concept of decimal fraction is 'polynomial of which indeterminate is 10', and another is the fact that the origin of decimal fraction is successive measurement activities which improving accuracy through decimal partition of measuring unit. The main features of our experimental learning-teaching plan is as follows. Firstly, students can experience a operation which generate decimal unit system through decimal partitioning of measuring unit. Secondly, the decimal fraction expansion will be initially introduced and the complete representation of decimal fraction according to positional notation will follow. Thirdly, such various interpretations of decimal fraction as 3.751m, 3m+7dm+5cm+1mm, $(3+\frac{7}{10}+\frac{5}{100}+\frac{1}{1000})m$ and $\frac{3751}{1000}m$ will be handled. Fourthly, decimal fraction will not be introduced with 'unit decimal fraction' such as 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, ${\cdots}$ but with 'natural number+decimal fraction' such as 2.345. Fifthly, we arranged a numeration activity ruled by random unit system previous to formal representation ruled by decimal positional notation. A experimental learning-teaching plan which presented in this thesis must be examined through teaching experiment. It is necessary to successive research for this task.
