Study on User Experience of Personalized Recommendation Systems of Fashion Vertical Platforms -The Regulation Effect of Self-Regulatory Focus- (패션 버티컬 플랫폼 개인화 추천시스템의 사용자 경험에 관한 연구 -자기조절초점의 조절효과-)

  • This study aims to validate the user experience associated with the personalized recommendation systems of fashion vertical platforms. The investigation focused on women aged 18 to 30 with prior experience using personalized fashion recommendation systems. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0, and the outcomes can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the diversity and usefulness of information quality exerted a positive effect on use satisfaction. Secondly, the affirmative impact of the reliability of system quality on user satisfaction was established, although stability was not confirmed. Thirdly, the study identified a favorable connection between ease-of-use of service quality and user satisfaction, while the influence of tangibles was unsubstantiated. Fourthly, the degree of self-reference was found to have a positive effect on user satisfaction. Fifthly, a constructive relationship emerged between user satisfaction and both continuous-use intention and recommendation intention. Lastly, there was a significant difference in the magnitude of the effect of ease-of-use on satisfaction according to self-regulatory focus. The findings of this study hold the potential to enhance the explanatory and predictive power of the field of consumer behavior within the novel shopping landscape of fashion vertical platforms.

A Comparative Analysis of the Illumina Truseq Synthetic Long-read Haplotyping Sequencing Platform versus the 10X Genomics Chromium Genome Sequencing Platform for Haplotype Phasing and the Identification of Single-nucleotide variants (SNVs) in Hanwoo (Korean Native Cattle) (일루미나에서 제작된 TSLRH (Truseq Synthetic Long-Read Haplotyping)와 10X Genomics에서 제작된 The Chromium Genome 시퀀싱 플랫폼을 이용하여 생산된 한우(한국 재래 소)의 반수체형 페이징 및 단일염기서열변이 비교 분석)

  • In Hanwoo cattle (Korean native cattle), there is a scarcity of comparative analysis papers using highdepth sequencing and haplotype phasing, particularly a comparative analysis of the Truseq Synthetic Long-Read Haplotyping sequencing platform serviced by Illumina (TSLRH) versus the Chromium Genome Sequencing platform serviced by 10X Genomics (10XG). DNA was extracted from the sperm of a Hanwoo breeding bull (ID: TN1505D2184/27214) provided by Hanwoo research canter and used for the generation of sequence data from both the sequencing platforms. We then identified SNVs using an appropriate analysis pipeline tailored for each platform. The TSLRH and 10XG platforms generated a total of 355,208,304 and 1,632,772,004 reads, respectively, corresponding to a Q30 (%) of 89.04% and 88.60%, respectively, of which 351,992,768(99.09%) and 1,526,641,824(93.50%) were successfully mapped. For the TSLRH and 10XG platforms, the mean depth of the sequencing was 13.04X and 74.3X, the longest phase block was 1,982,706 bp and 1,480,081 bp, the N50 phase block was 57,637 bp and 114,394 bp, the total number of SNVs identified was 4,534,989 and 8,496,813, and the total phased rate was 72.29% and 87.67%, respectively. Moreover, for each chromosome, we identified unique and common SNVs using both sequencing platforms. The number of SNVs was directly proportional to the length of the chromosome. Based on our results, we recommend the use of the 10XG platform for haplotype phasing and SNV identification, as it generated a longer N50 phase block, in addition to a higher mean depth, total number of reads, total number of SNVs, and phase rate, than the TSLRH platform.

  • Discovery service has as its object to cope with the user to take advantage of the collection of the library as possible to index and search, one step further, the interface by more efficiently to the user's information needs. Discovery service has features such as providing a ranking and navigation services to subdivide the search results by facet results along the suitability and visually rich display, suggestions, recommendations associated resources. In this study introduces the status of discovery services such as discovery service products, usage status, and features, and compares and analyzes the use agencies, content status, main functions, and features of the three discovery services used in Korea library.

  • This paper investigates the relationship between the Pay TV subscriber's genre preference and VOD purchase by analyzing actual purchase data of movie VOD of IPTV subscribers for 8 months. The result shows as follows. First, in case of purchasing movie contents below 4000 won, user's genre preference was higher than that of using contents over 4,000 won. This means the subscribers tend to follow their genre preference when the mass-typed recommendation is limited. Second, those who purchase foreign contents show higher genre preference than those who purchase domestic movies. Third, subscribers who purchase more frequently and much more tend to use more diverse genres. Heavy users or those who have higher willingness to pay would consume more diverse contents. It implies that VOD use would increase by supplying the personal recommendation service based on the subscriber's genre preference.

Factors Influencing on the Flow and Satisfaction of YouTube Users (유튜브 이용자의 몰입경험과 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • This study is designed to investigate how the perceived characteristics of the online video services affect the 'flow' as positive experience and satisfaction of users. For the study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on 289 people using YouTube, and then analyzed the relationships among variables using hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, it was confirmed that interactivity, newness of recommendation service, diversity of content, and entertainingness of contents all affect the lower level of flow experience. On the other hand, the accuracy of the recommendation service did not affect the flow experience, but positively affects the level of satisfaction. Finally, it is also confirmed that flow has a direct effect on user satisfaction, and mediates relationship between the characteristics of YouTube and satisfaction. The results of this study are helpful to understand user's perception and experience of online video platform service and suggest the discussion points to be considered by the industry to satisfy users.

  • In the real world, the user's preference for a particular product is determined by many factors besides the quality of the product. The reflection of these external factors was very difficult because of various fundamental problems including lack of data. However, access to external factors has become easier as the infrastructure for public data is opened and the availability of evaluation platforms with diverse and vast amounts of data. In accordance with these changes, this paper proposes a recommendation system structure that can reflect the collectable factors that affect user's preference, and we try to observe the influence of actual influencing factors on preference by applying case. The structure of the proposed system can be divided into a process of selecting and extracting influencing factors, a process of supplementing insufficient data using sentence analysis, and finally a process of combining and merging user's evaluation data and influencing factors. We also propose a validation process that can determine the appropriateness of the setting of the structural variables such as the selection of the influence factors through comparison between the result group of the proposed system and the actual user preference group.

  • In order to recommend contents, the company generally uses collaborative filtering that takes into account both user preferences and video (item) similarities. Such services are primarily intended to facilitate user convenience by leveraging personal preferences such as user search keywords and viewing time. It will also be ranked around the keywords specified in the video. However, there is a limit to analyzing video similarities using limited keywords. In such cases, the problem becomes serious if the specified keyword does not properly reflect the item. In this paper, I would like to propose a system that identifies the characteristics of a video as it is by the system without human intervention, and analyzes and recommends similarities between videos. The proposed system analyzes similarities by taking into account all words (keywords) that have different meanings from training videos, and in such cases, the methods handled by big data clusters are applied because of the large scale of data and operations.

An Empirical Analysis on the Success Factors of Crowdfunding: Focusing on the Movie Category Project (크라우드펀딩 성공요인 실증분석: 영화 분야 프로젝트를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to find out success factors of crowdfunding on movie projects. For empirical analysis, we collected 583 data of the movie projects from the crowdfunding platform 'Tumblbug'. To figure out the success factors, we examined effects of 10 independent variables on 1 dependent variable. The independent variable includes target amount, project information, reward options, creator funding power, editor recommendation, creator contents power, movie type, number of comments, number of replies, and number of SNS information. The final achievement rate of crowdfunding was set as dependent variable. This study found that the target amount, number of text information, number of video information, editor recommendation, number of backers' reply, and number of SNS information had a significant impact on the achievement rate of the movie crowdfunding project. This study has implications in that it has discovered a variable of editor recommendation and the number of SNS information, and both of them have a positive effect on crowdfunding achievement.
