본 논문에서는 Quadtree 구조를 기반으로 한 효율적인 색상 정보 추출과 영상 검색을 수행하는 시스템을 구현한다. 제시한 시스템은 원 영상으로부터 DC영상을 추출하고, DC 영상의 화소들을 RGB에서 HSV의 색상 좌표계로 변환한다. 변환된 영상에서 색상의 분포에 따라 Quadtree 형태로 영역을 분할하고 대표 색상을 추출한다. 마지막으로 추출한 색상과 그 색상의 분포에 따라 Quadtree 형태로 영역을 분할하고 대표 색상을 추출한다. 마지막으로 추출한 색상과 그 색상의 분포값을 영역의 위치에 따라 Quadtree의 단말 노드에 저장한다. 그리고, 사용자가 질의 영상을 주었을 때 Quadtree에 저장된 정보를 이용하여 본 논문에서 제안한 유사도 측정을 통하여 결과 영상을 보여준다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 실험한 결과 64개의 영역으로 나눈 방법에 비해 비교하는 평균 영역의 개수는 28.9개였고, 검색시간은 2~6초 정도 감소하였다. 또한, 전체 영상의 색상 정보 저장량도 25% 정도 줄어들었지만 질의에 대한 두 방법의 검색 결과는 유사하게 나타났다.

본 논문은 객체로부터 특징 벡터를 추출하고 각 객체의 행동 양식을 분석함으로써 객체의 현재 이벤트를 인식하고 확률 모델을 기반으로 한 긴급한 상황에서의 시나리오를 해석할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 연구에서는 시나리오 해석을 위한 이벤트 인식 방법을 사용하였기 때문에 적용되는 범위가 한정되어 있었다. 본 논문에서는 시나리오를 정의하고 인식된 객체의 이벤트를 바탕으로 미리 정의된 시나리오에 가장 근접하는 상황이 발생하는 것을 자동으로 해석할 수 있도록 한다. 이벤트 규칙, 이벤트 인식, 그리고 이벤트를 바탕으로 하는 긴급 상황 시나리오가 실내 또는 실외 환경에서 객체 추적만을 통해 얻을 수 없는 의미론적 정보를 제안된 방법을 통해 획득할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 실내 또는 실외 환경에서의 비전 감시 시스템에 응용할 객체의 이벤트 인식 방법을 정의한다. 객체의 이벤트를 실시간으로 적용하기 위해서는 연산 시간이 적어야하며 이벤트 인식 정확률 또한 높아야 한다. 기존의 규칙 또는 확률 기반 이벤트 인식 방법은 객체의 움직임 이벤트에 대해 한정적이거나 객체의 특징 벡터 추출이 규칙에 어긋나는 경우 오류가 발생하여 이벤트 인식의 정확도가 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 시간의 흐름에 따른 독립 객체의 특징 벡터와 확률 정보를 통해 정해진 규칙에 가장 가까운 상황에 대해 계속적으로 이루어지는 이벤트 인식 방법을 제안한다.

Sewage treatment plants, consuming 1,756[GWh] which is 0.53[%] of national wide electricity consumption, is one of the electricity consuming facilites. At the research of electricity consumption and power quality analysis on sewage treatment plants, average utilization of transformer was less than 40[%] because peak load was very lower than its capacity due to excess capacity. So reduction of power loss can be achieved by transformer design optimization. The achievement in this research, is to meet reduction of power loss through optimizing the capacity and to improve as high efficiency-low loss transformer while the transformer is operating.

For the purpose of investigation the thrust force, the lateral force, and the eddy current loss when the primary and the secondary of a single-sided linear induction motor is displaced in the space, this paper proposes an analysis technique for the characteristics of the eddy current induced on the secondary and the magnetic flux density distribution in the y-z plane by F.E.M. To verify the effectiveness of this analysis technique, the starting-thrust force due to a lateral displacement is compared to the experimental data.

In the analysis of the electric machine by finite element method, the primary current has been selected as a driving source. But the voltage is constant and the primary current varies according to the load condition in the pracdtical system. Therefore, in this paper, magnetic flux distribution, primary current, input effective power, power factor, efficiency and propulsion force of S.L.I.M. were calculated by the finite element method cnsidering the voltage as a driving source. Because the driving characteristics could not be measured in the S.L.I.M., voltage-current curve, 3-phase current curve, and propulsion force were measured at the starting and they were compared with theoretical values.

In this study, the effect of oxygen partial pressure on the electrical properties of vanadium oxide(VO$_{x}$) thin films were investigated. The thin films were prepared by r.f. magnetron sputtering from V$_2$O$_{5}$ target in a gas mixture of argon and oxygen. The oxygen partial pressure ratio is changed from 0% to 8%. I-V characteristics were distinguished between linear and nonlinear region. In the low field region the conduction is due to Schottky emission, while at high fields it changes to Fowler-Nordheim tunneling type conduction. The conductivity measurements have shown an Arrhenius dependence of the conductivity on the temperature.ure.

Thin films of vanadium pentoxide ($V_{2}O_{5}$) have been deposited by r.f. magnetron sputtering from $V_{2}O_{5}$ target in gas mixture of argon and oxygen. Crystal structure, surface morphology, surface composition and optical properties of films prepared under different substrates are characterized through XRD, SEM, AES, XPS and optical absorption measurements. The films prepared below $100^{\circ}C$ are amorphous, and those prepared above $200^{\circ}C$ are polycrystalline. Thermally Induced oxidation of films into higher oxide has been observed with increasing substrate temperature. Vanadium oxide films show two optical absorption bands indicating the presence of direct and indirect transitions.

In the case of analyzing electric machinery by finite element method, so far, magnetic current was selected as a driving source. But terminal voltage is a driving source in real systems, and magnetic current is varied according to variation of load conditions. Therfore, in this paper magnetic flux distribution of linear induction motor was analized by using kirchhoff's second law with voltage as a driving source, and magnetic current was calculated.

In this paper, the governing equation of each analyzed region of Single-sided Linear Induction Motor was induced from Maxwell's electromagnetic equation. And the linear induction motor was analyzed by finite element method. for calculating inductance, energy perturbation method was applied.
