  • Recently, the need of researches and developments about WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) technologies, which can be applied to services that require continuous monitoring or services to specific areas where accesses are limited, has gradually increased due to their expansion of application areas and the improvement of the efficiency. Especially, in the defense field, researches on the latest IT technologies including sensor network areas are actively conducted as an alternative to avoid the risk factors that can be occurred when personnel are put in, such as boundary and surveillance reconnaissance and to utilize personnel efficiently. In this paper, we analyze the conditions for increasing the life span of sensing nodes that make up sensor network by applying clustering and location-based techniques and derived the factors for extending the life span of them. The derived factors include CH(Cluster Head) election scheme and optimal path selection from CH to BS(Base Station). We proposed final scheme using derived factors and verified it through simulation experiments.

Development of a Simulator for the Intermediate Storage Hub Selection Modeling and Visualization of Carbon Dioxide Transport Using a Pipeline (파이프라인을 이용한 이산화탄소 수송에서 중간 저장 허브 선정 모델링 및 시각화를 위한 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage/Sequestration (CCS) technology has attracted attention as an ideal method for most carbon dioxide reduction needs. When the collected carbon dioxide is transported to storage via pipelines, the direct transport is made if the storage is close, otherwise it can also be transported via an intermediate storage hub. Determining the number and the location of the intermediate storage hubs is an important problem. A decision-making algorithm using a mathematical model for solving the problem requires considerably more variables and constraints to describe the multi-objective decision, but the computational complexity of the problem increases and it also does not guarantee the optimality. This research proposes an algorithm to determine the location and the number of the intermediate storage hub and develop a simulator for the connection network of the carbon dioxide emission site. The simulator also provides the course of transportation of the carbon dioxide. As a case study, this model is applied to Korea.

Designing Operational Effectiveness of Autonomously Decided Countermeasures (자율적으로 결정한 대응기법의 운용효과도 설계)

  • It is indispensable that aircrafts in electrical warfare settings endeavour to improve their survivability by selecting optimal countermeasures against threats. In this paper, we model the successful probabilities of aircraft survivability equipments that remove threats encountered, and also propose a framework for the aircrafts to autonomously decide their countermeasures. And then, we design the operational effectiveness of the aircraft survivability equipments, and quantitatively formulate the operational effectiveness into the form of reduction in lethality (RL). We actually show how the operational effectiveness can be computed in simulated example scenarios. To verify our framework proposed in this paper, we experimented with the successful probabilities of aircraft survivability equipments and the autonomous decision-making against threats in various electronic warfare settings. In the experiments, it turns out that our agents outperform the agents that randomly choose their countermeasures, which is 12% more efficient in their performance.

Effects of Entertainment and Economical Efficiency on the Mobile Advertising Value and Intention (모바일 광고가치와 접속의도에 유희성과 경제성 변수가 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore variables that affect users' perceived value of mobile advertising and actual response intention and to analyze causal relationships among variables. In order to verify the relational significance, we built new research model and hypotheses based on the Ducoffe's model(1996). And we found out four independent variables such as entertainment, information usefulness, convenience, economical efficiency, and advertising impact's value as a mediating variable. Especially, we classified into four multi-age groups to investigate properly moderating effects through SEM(path analysis) and difference test. Therefore, it is academical and practical worth that we developed our model to appropriate on mobile advertising's unique property and that we verified our hypotheses and variables focused on age group, whereas previous research did not. For this, we surveyed 345 samples for conducting structural equation modeling in empirical approach. The results of this study supported the statistical significance of all hypotheses except but convenience.

  • 기후변화는 자연적 요인보다는 인간의 활동으로부터 기인하는 것으로 알려진다. 지구 온난화의 영향으로 우리나라의 평균 기온은 상승하고 있으며, 강수량 또한 증가추세에 있다. 이러한 미래 기온의 상승과 강수량의 변화는 나아가 수문 순환에 영향을 미치며, 수자원의 효과적인 이용을 위하여 기후변화에 따른 수문 순환 특성을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국제 수문 프로그램의 대상 유역 중 하나로 장기간의 강우-유출 자료가 구축되어있는 청미천 유역을 대상으로, 기후변화에 따른 지표 유출량 변화를 살펴본다. 기후변화를 전망하기 위한 방법으로 인간 활동이 대기에 미치는 복사량으로 온실 가스 농도를 정의하는 시나리오인 대표농도경로(Reperentative Concentration Pathway, RCP)를 적용하였다. 기상청에서 제공되는 여러 RCP 시나리오 중 기후변화가 현재의 추세를 쫓아 상승 형태를 나타내는 RCP 8.5 시나리오와 저감 정책이 어느 정도 실현되어 형태가 안정된 RCP 4.5 시나리오 두 개를 선정하였다. 기후변화 시나리오는 근본적으로 불확실성을 포함하기 때문에, 특정 기후변화를 가정하기 보다는 특성이 대비되는 두 개 시나리오를 적용하여 기후변화의 발달 정도에 따른 유출량 변화를 살펴보고자 한다. 장기간의 수문 순환 특성을 모의하기 위하여 준 분포형 장기유출 모형인 Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)을 이용하며, SWAT에서 요구되는 방대한 양의 매개변수들은 매개변수의 최적값 산정 프로그램인 SWAT Calibration and Uncerntianty Programs (SWAT-CUP)을 통해 얻는다. 과거의 강우-유출 자료로부터 구축된 SWAT 모형에 기후변화 시나리오를 적용함으로써 기후변화 시나리오에 따른 지표유출량 변화를 살펴볼 수 있다. 구축된 SWAT 모형을 이용하여 모의를 한 결과, 두 개 시나리오 모두에서 청미천 유역의 지표유출량이 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며 RCP 4.5 시나리오보다 RCP 8.5 시나리오에서 더 많은 유출이 발생할 것으로 전망된다. 유출량의 증가와 함께 총 부유사량 또한 증가 추세에 있으며, RCP 8.5 시나리오에서 더 많은 유출이 계산된다. 이러한 유출량의 증가는 강수량, 기온, 일사량, 풍속, 습도와 같은 기후 특성의 변화가 고려된 결과로 판단된다. 기후변화에 따른 총 유사량의 증가는 범용토양 유실공식에서 강우 에너지의 증가로 인해 유출량과 동일한 양상을 띠는 것으로 판단된다.

  • It is necessary to grasp the characteristics of traffic flow passing through a specific road section and the topological structure of the road in advance in order to quickly prepare a movement management strategy in the event of a disaster or disaster. It is because it can be an essential basis for road managers to assess vulnerabilities by microscopic road units and then establish appropriate monitoring and management measures for disasters or disaster situations. Therefore, this study presented spatial density, time occupancy, and betweenness centrality index to evaluate vulnerabilities by road link in the city department and defined spatial-temporal and topological vulnerabilities by clustering analysis based on distance and density. From the results of this study, road administrators can manage vulnerabilities by characterizing each road link group. It is expected to be used as primary data for selecting priority control points and presenting optimal routes in the event of a disaster or disaster.

Design of kitchen cabinet using complex link mechanism (복합 링크기구를 이용한 주방 상부장 설계)

  • Kitchen cabinets are essential furniture for storing the kitchen tools, but their high installed location makes it difficult for users to access the upper of the cabinets. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new type of kitchen cabinet that allows users to easily take out or store items by adding new height adjustment features while maintaining the function of the existing cabinet. For convenience and safety, an appropriate complex link mechanism is designed so that the selected floor, not the entire cabinet, can come down to a desired height with one operation. Moreover, the optimal descent path is set to prevent the floor tilting or interfloor interference during descent, and appropriate link shapes, lengths, and joint types are selected to implement it. FEA analysis is performed to ensure that the stretched complex linkage can support the load of the stored items and the feasibility of the height adjustable kitchen cabinet is verified through fabrication.

Design of lift-down kitchen cabinet for elderly and disabled (고령자 및 장애인을 위한 승강형 주방 상부장 설계)

  • Kitchen cabinets are widely used for their spacious storage and efficient use of space, but their high installed location makes it difficult for the elderly and disabled to access. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new height-adjustable kitchen cabinet that can be used more easily and safely. The lift-down range of cabinet was set considering the installation location of cabinet for efficient use of kitchen space and the maximum height accessible to the elderly and disabled, and the link geometry and driving method of the complex link mechanism were determined through the mechanism design procedure to ensure that the selected floor come down safely along the optimal descend path. In addition, the appropriate motor and control algorithm were added to allow the user to descend to the desired height with a simple button operation. It was confirmed through actual production that the proposed linkage mechanism performs the desired lift-down motion.

Strength Analysis of 3D Concrete Printed Mortar Prism Samples (3D 콘크리트 프린팅된 모르타르 프리즘 시편의 강도 분석)

  • The 3D-printing technique is used for manufacturing objects by adding multiple layers, and it is relatively easy to manufacture objects with complex shapes. The 3D concrete printing technique, which incorporates 3D printing into the construction industry, does not use a formwork when placing concrete, and it requires less workload and labor, so economical construction is possible. However, 3D-printed concrete is expected to have a lower strength than that of molded concrete. In this study, the properties of 3D-printed concrete were analyzed. To fabricate the 3D-printed concrete samples, the extrusion path and shape of the samples were designed with Ultimaker Cura. Based on this, G-codes were generated to control the 3D printer. The optimal concrete mixing proportion was selected considering such factors as extrudability and buildability. Molded samples with the same dimensions were also fabricated for comparative analysis. The properties of each sample were measured through a three-point bending test and uniaxial compression test, and a comparative analysis was performed.

Simulation Analysis of GPS Reception Environment of Unified Control Points Using GIS (GIS를 이용한 통합기준점의 GPS 수신환경 모의 분석)

  • National Geographic Information Institute has established a plan that preoccupies UCPs (Unified Control Points) at 2~3km intervals in urban areas by considering the distance between existing UCPs by satellite images and aerial photographs in 2015. In this study, we discussed the method of selecting the locations of optimal UCPs by simulating GPS reception environment in candidate sites for UCPs using GIS. For this purpose, we selected new candidate sites for installing UCPs using satellite images and aerial photographs, and analyzed the GPS reception environment by calculating the visibility distance from buildings around UCPs using GIS skyline analysis. The number of and the arrangement of visible satellites that are capable of GPS satellite reception from the viewpoint of sky view were showed by GIS skyline analysis. Quality evaluation results of GPS observation data were compared with average PDOP calculated from hourly PDOP and TEQC in two points of Sungkyunkwan University during 8 hours. As a result of GPS reception environment using GIS, if the PDOP increases, the data acquisition rate is lowed, and the multipath error and the cycle slip are increased. Thus, this study verified that the quality of GPS observation data can be secured by constructing three-dimensional spatial information and simulating PDOP when preoccupying multiple UCPs using GIS.
