정규학교에서의 정보보호교육 강화 방안

  • 최근 컴퓨터 및 정보통신기술 등의 급속한 발전과 국가 정책에 따른 세계 최고수준의 If 인프라 구축에 따라 인터넷 이용률 및 인터넷에 의한 범죄 등이 급증하고 있다. 특히, 가장 많은 인터넷 사용 연령층이 초등학교 고학년에서 대학생들로 그들의 인터넷 이용률은 90%이상을 차지하고 있으며 사이버 범죄의 절반정도가 이들에 의하여 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 이들 학생을 위한 정보보호관련 교육내용과 교육환경의 열악함은 학생들이 죄의식 없이 범죄를 저지르거나 그들 자신들이 피해자가 되는 사회로 방치되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 제8회 정보보호심포지움에서 발표하였던 '초중고 정보보호교육 강화'의 내용을 보완하여 대학교를 포함한 정규학교에서의 정보보호교육내용을 분석하고 정보보호교육환경의 현황을 파악하였다. 또한, 이에 관한 결론으로 정보보호교육 강화 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 초, 중, 고 정규 교육과정에 피지컬컴퓨팅 단원이 포함 되었고 교구 지향적인 특성을 갖는다. 피지컬 단원을 위해 매우 다양한 교구가 출시 되고 있으나 학생들의 창의적인 아이디어를 모두 수용 가능하며 저렴한 교구는 찾기 힘들다. 저렴하고 막강한 기능을 가진 아두이노가 최적의 보드이지만 어려운 하드웨어 세팅과 텍스트 코딩 기반이라 외면 받고 있다. 또한 블록코딩이 가능하긴 하나 단순한 디지털, 아날로그 센서 제어 명령만 제공하다 보니 다른 보드와 기능적인 차이는 없으면서 하드웨어 세팅만 어렵게 느껴진다. 아두이노가 가진 다양한 입, 출력 모듈을 제한 없이 사용 가능한 장점을 훼손하지 않으며, 코딩이 쉬우려면 센서 제한 없는 블록코딩이 되어야 한다. 만약 아두이노가 하드웨어 세팅이 쉬우면서 거의 모든 입출력장치를 블록명령으로 제어가능하다면 초중고 학생들이 자신의 아이디어를 제한 없이 구현하여 창의적인 작품을 만들 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 블록코딩으로 아두이노의 막강한 기능을 제한 없이 사용하기 위한 방법을 연구하고, 해결책을 찾아 제시한다.

Development of Information Competency Test Tool for Elementary and High School Students (초중등학생 정보 교과 역량 검사 도구 개발)

  • Under the influence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is a emphasis on capacity building based on computational thinking to foster talent for future. In Korea, SW education has been mandatory since 2018. Since 2017, research has been conducted on the definition of SW education capability and the development of diagnostic tools. At this time, the diagnostic tool for middle school has been revised and supplemented once in 2018 and is used so far. In response to the request from the field to expand the information diagnostic test for middle school to elementary school and high school, it began as one of the 2019 study on the effectiveness of SW leading schools. In this study, we develop a diagnostic tool for elementary and high school based on the diagnostic tool for middle school. Expert validity verification and preliminary inspections are carried out. Preliminary examinations will analyze the reliability, discrimination, and difficulty of the questions, and look forward to seeing the potential as a testing tool in the future.

A Survey on the Problems and Conditions of Educational Guidance and Counselling in the Gifted Education Programs (초중등 영재학급·교육원의 학생 생활지도 실태 및 과제 - 영재 담당교사들의 인식을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems and conditions of educational guidance and counselling of teachers in the gifted classes. For the study, 267 teachers were sampled from the Gifted Education Institutes of metropolitan and provincial offices of education and Gifted Classes of the school across Korea, and the questionnaire developed by the researchers were administered to them. The results of this study are as follows : First, the 82% of respondents reported that the guidance and counselling in the gifted education is needed. So it demands the active responsive strategies on it. Second, the respondents reported that the selfish or self-centered traits of the gifted students are the most problematic in the gifted classes. It shows the emphasis should be put on the basic life habits and moral education in the guidance and counselling of the gifted education. Third, they pointed out the case-based education is needed for the parents of the gifted to correct their misconceptions about their children. Fourth, to support the teachers of the gifted program, the administrative measures have to be taken, like operation of character education program, forming a consultative group with the experienced teachers, developing the case-based guideline for the guidance and counselling for the gifted education, etc. Fifth, we should develop the Korean model of the gifted education to promote social capital for our future society.

Case Study of Internet Ethics Lecture using Videos and Demonstration Practice (동영상 및 시범 실습을 활용한 인터넷윤리 수업 사례 연구)

  • With proliferation of the internet, the internet ethics in contrast to existing ethics has been recognized as one of the disciplines. Internet ethics is one of liberal arts courses in a college as well as a class in elementary, middle and high schools. We also have taught this subject for a number of years. In order to effectively communicate to students the internet ethics course as computer scientists, we gave some demonstration practice lectures by taking advantage of internet ethics related videos. Since the latest UCC presentation and its discussion were performed, it was helpful for students to recognize the internet ethical issues and concerns. We confirmed that classroom students' concentration and understanding for internet ethics increases by a survey of the regular attendees. This research presented a lecture practice case model to teach comprehensive internet ethics topics to college students effectively.

Factors of Students' Career Choice Related to Science (초.중.고 학생들의 과학 관련 진로 선택 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the students' career choice related to science. Important factors of career choice were identified through factor analysis. 'Perception of career related to science', 'preference for science learning' and 'participation in science-related activity' were three main factors of science-related career choice. Students' responses to the three main factors were compared according to their career choice, grade and gender using ANOVA. Regression analysis was adopted to find out the relative importance among the three main factors. The subjects were 947 grade 6, 9 and 11 students in Seoul. Numbers of boys and girls in each grade was almost same. The questionnaire was developed to know the factors of students' science-related career choice after preliminary research and literature survey. The ratio of science-related career choice was not high (26%). Students' responses to and the relative importance of the three main factors differed with the grade and gender. From the results, making students have preference for science and giving them more opportunities of science-related activity is more important than making them have positive perception of science-related career. It is required to make a material for science career education considering the differences of age and gender using this study results.

Kimchi Intake Patterns and Preferences among Elementary School, Middle School, and High School Students in Rural Areas - Focusing on the School in Chungbuk Province - (농촌지역 초중고 학생들의 김치 섭취실태 및 기호도 분석 - 충청북도에 위치한 학교를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the awareness and preference for a variety of Kimchi and Kimchi intake patterns among the students living in Chungbuk province. Four hundred samples, consisting of elementary, middle, and high school students, were surveyed; and a total of 366 usable, completed copies of the questionnaire were used for the research. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 10.0. The results of the analysis were as follows: First, Kimchi was considered traditional (24.3%), nutritious (20.5%), fermented (l9.2%), and healthy (16.1%). Second, the main reason Kimchi was preferred was its "hot taste" (25.4%), "chewy texture" (17.4%), and "sour taste" (14.0%). The students preferred their Kimchi a little hot, moderately salty, and properly fermented with a moderate amount of seasoning and did not care much about any particular parts of Kimchi. Third, 75.4% of the students ate Kimchi more than twice a day, and 78.0% of the students consumed more than 3 pieces($2.5{\times}3.0cm$) of Kimchi per meal. Fourth, elementary students wanted the school foodservice to develop bite-sized Kimchi while middle school students wanted to eat their favorite parts of Kimchi without the fishy smell. High school students wanted to eat cool and fresh Kimchi. Finally, the students wanted Kimchi to contain the following fruit and vegetables: pears (48.9%), apples (34.2%), and pineapples (30.0%), young radishes (44.9%), turnips (37.5%), and sesame leaves (34.9%). This study concludes that it is necessary to educate young students about traditional Korean food culture, serve them various types of Kimchi, change the service style, and develop new Kimchi recipes to increase Kimchi intake in school foodservices.

Development of Student Consulting Support System to Intervene Internet Addiction for teachers (교사의 인터넷 중독 개입을 위한 학생상담지원시스템 개발)

  • Recently Internet addiction problems of teenagers are so serious that the education to solve the problems are required in school. However, teachers are suffering difficulties to intervene students' Internet addiction because they do not have expert knowledge about student counselling and Internet addiction problems. In this study, in order that nonprofessional teachers in student counselling can consult easily a student who is addicted to Internet. we developed consulting contents consisted of twelve weeks consulting activities and the student consulting support system about Internet addiction problems. This system offers the consulting contents module for teachers and the information management module for students. For the experimental operation of the system and contents. we made a consocium of twenty primary and secondary schools. We selected a students who is most serious in Internet addiction problem in the school We made a class teacher counsel a student individually by applying the system. Thereafter, we analyzed the effects of consultation and presented the results.

A Study on Major Publishing and Learning Effects of College Student Authors (대학생 저자 전공서적 출판과 학습효과에 대한 연구)

  • In the case of book writing and publishing written by students, it has been implemented in the category of very few students. Even if it is limited to the minimum case, the detailed analysis of the effects will show that the education and learning effects are infinite, the maximum positive effect based on diversity and the effect of education and learning that can be extended to the continuation of sustainable capacity building. In this paper, I attempted to publish basic and intermediate major books on two occasions for first and second grade ordinary students majoring in IT. In addition to the basic satisfaction of education and learning, the book publishing performance of college student authors is excellent in various fields such as expansion of business based business, enlargement of major identity due to upward satisfaction, maximization of various late effects, securing sustainable development tendency. In the future, we plan to suggest ways to induce the general application of learning effect by conducting research that can achieve the same effect for middle and low level students.

Review of Concept of Abstraction of Computational Thinking (Computational Thinking에서의 추상화 개념에 대한 고찰)

  • Software Education will be implemented at elementary, middle and high schools starting in 2018. The goal of software education is to help students develop Computational thinking skills. Computational thinking is largely composed of abstraction and automation. However, the concepts related to abstraction are defined differently for each country, giving confusion to students and teachers. Therefore, in this paper several definitions of abstraction are compared and defined reasonably. And we proposed an abstraction teaching method and evaluation criteria in elementary school based on a reasonable definition. The definition of abstraction presented in this paper is expected to be able to present a solution to the problems encountered in the course of software education in the future.
