  • 2007 revised curriculum in primary schools by the educational programming should be carried out due to a number of practical constraints have been performed well. Elementary education program conducted by the EPL and Scratch Programming for haneunge was not long after the development of intuitive interface and blocks created using the syntax, contains multimedia elements, such as the benefits that can create artifacts due to the elementary education program is appropriate for. The researcher targeted the school for a semester, 4th year 12 weeks based on the results of scratch programming, programming by way of the Plan and the training and the results were analyzed. Scratch programming to increase student interest and enhance creativity and Formal help cultivate the scientific attitude can give you results. Scratch Programming for Elementary EPL Education is an effective lead of the students' prior knowledge or interest in sex by level of achievement because of the variation to allow individual learning needs to organize a program of study. And results in the production of sufficient thinking ahead and given time to discuss the purpose of education and programming will need to be alive.

  • Programming training in informatics education have the means that algorithm design and problem solving. However, Because learning and using programming tools that should be done first, elementary school students learning the programming tools that are interested in the process has been reduced. But programming with using an Educational Programming Language(EPL) can show results directly and coding with a drag & drop method that keeps the elementary students' interests for programming. Now that, the students are possible to enhance their creativity and reasoning skills. Therefore, through the result of this study show how to apply the EPL in the elementary information classes and comparing with before this study and after the study, we analyzed to applicate prosperity of EPL.

Analysis of Effect that Pair Programming Develope of Computational Thinking and Creativity in Elementary Software Education (초등학교 SW교육에서 동료 프로그래밍 교육 방법이 컴퓨팅 사고력과 창의성 신장에 미치는 효과 분석)

  • In this study, It analyzed the effect of pair programming teaching methods in elementary software education. At first, for the development of SW educational programs it surveyed 162 elementary students and 34 teachers in J area. As a result, developed SW educational programs based on geometry in elementary mathematics and it was applied. For application SW programs it was constructed 22 students experimental group, 22 students comparison group of 44 students in 3, 4, 5th grade the winter break of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university education donation application. First, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' computational thinking. Second, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' creativity. Test results, pair programming is to show a significant difference on the development of computational thinking and creativity in elementary software education.

  • In this paper, to instruct elementary programming concepts based on flowchart programming for elementary school students, we proposed sensor-based elementary robot programming PBL problems using line-tracer robots. Proposed PBL problems are designed to have various correct-answer algorithms. For this purpose, we present PBL-based robot programming instruction steps. Through applying the proposed sensor-based PBL problems using line-tracer robots, experimental results are analyzed in views of the problem-solving ability and suitability of allocating degrees of difficulties to the proposed elementary robot programming problems.

  • 프로그래밍 교육은 학습자의 창의적이고 논리적인 사고력을 함양시키고 문제해결능력을 신장시킬 수 있는 ICT 교육의 한 분야로서 많은 교육적 가치를 가지고 있다. 프로그래밍과 관련된 초등학교 교육내용은 7차 교육과정에서 누락되었지만 2005년 12월에 개정된 초 중등학교 정보통신기술 운영 지침에 따라 초등학교에도 프로그래밍 교육과정이 도입되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 5, 6학년 '정보처리의 이해' 영역의 프로그래밍에 관련된 학습내용을 학년별 연계성을 고려하여 재구성하고 학습 성취에 대한 피드백을 강화하는 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 웹 코스웨어를 설계 하였다. 웹을 기반으로 설계된 이 시스템은 학교나 가정에서의 프로그래밍 교육 기회를 확대시키는 역할을 하며, 학습자가 학습 성취도를 직접 확인하여 자신의 능력에 맞게 학습속도를 조절할 수 있어 자기 주도적 학습 능력이 향상될 것으로 기대된다. 또한 학습자에게 다양한 동기유발 자료와 학습 결과에 대한 적절한 피드백을 제공함으로써 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 흥미와 학습 성취도를 높일 것으로 기대된다.

  • The revised 7th education course of information implies that students use variety of information devices to solve the common problems and it also includes the programming education for improving problem-solving abilities. Not only improving problem-solving abilities but also developing thinking skill is expected in programming education. However, traditional programming education is teacher-oriented and focused on language syntax. Accordingly, students have heavy cognitive load and it decrease students' interest of programming. Therefore, in this paper, a instructional method of programming using educational robot is proposed to improve interest of elementary students in concretive operation stage for effectiveness of programming education. Additionally, results of experiments show that proposed robot programming instructional method can be applied in elementary education.

  • Recently, programming education is being actively performed in education field with development of educational programming language and teaching and learning methods for elementary students. However, programming education have limit to apply to the overall computer science curriculum, because it is performed by more than 5th grade and focused on the utilization of programming tools than problem-solving process. It is necessary to expand the range of students and educational content considered with problem-solving process for encouraging programming education in computer science. In this study, we suggest the easy-to-use programming tool for lower grade(1st grade) and robot programming task based on improvement of student's thinking ability. We use Tangible User Interface(TUI) for elementary student's(1st grade) convenience of programming and developed the robot programming task for improvement of logical thinking. As a result of this experiment, tangible programming tool can be used easily in elementary students(1st grade) and developed robot programming task is effective in improvement of logical thinking.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등 프로그래밍 교육에 관한 연구들의 동향을 파악하는 데 있다. 2000년부터 2015년 3월까지 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 통해 검색된 152편의 논문을 선정하였고, 연구 주제에 따른 논문의 현황을 분석하였다. 연구 주제로는 프로그래밍 교육 콘텐츠 및 교육과정 개발이 가장 많았고, 프로그래밍 교육의 학습 효과에 관한 연구가 그 다음을 이루었다. 그러나 교사 교육에 관한 연구는 이루어지고 있지 않고 있었다. 이러한 연구 자료를 바탕으로 초등 프로그래밍 교육에 관한 앞으로의 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

  • The software education to elementary students will be conducted from 2019. One of highlights of software education is a programming experience. It requires a higher level of programming education to students that are interested in programming. This problem can be solved by the club activities. But the materials for programming education for elementary students is not much. Therefore, we developed a programming material for club activities of the elementary school. We did not develop it as a programming manual. The students can understand a problem, can design through decomposition and abstraction processes, and can write a program when they are learning with this material. As a result, we expect that they can enhance their computational thinking abilities. We proved that our material is suitable for elementary students through a demonstration class. Therefore, we expect that our development methodologies for the material for programming education will contribute to develop a material for programming education.

  • 정보통신기술이 발달한 현대사회에 적응하려면 '정보처리능력'이 필요하다. 2005년 개정된 ICT 운영지침에도 이러한 사회 현상이 반영되어 '정보처리의 이해' 영역에서 초등학생부터 프로그래밍 교육을 할 것을 명시하고 있다. 그러나 교사들의 인식부족과 교수 학습 자료 부족으로 프로그래밍 교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 또한 프로그래밍 교육 내용이 단순한 언어의 소개 및 기능 위주의 내용으로 편성되어서 프로그래밍을 처음 접하는 초등학생에게 흥미를 주지 못하며 인지적 부담을 유발한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 풍부한 멀티미디어 환경과 쉽고 흥미로운 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하는 스크래치를 이용하는 프로그래밍 수업을 설계하였다. 기존 프로그래밍 교육의 단점을 해소할 수 있도록 학습자의 수준과 흥미를 고려하여 설계한 스크래치 교수 학습 방법을 이용한다면 프로그래밍 학습은 어렵고 복잡하다고 생각하는 학습자의 인식 변화와 더불어 학교 현장에서의 프로그래밍 교육을 활성화 하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
