2006년 국내 광산업시장은 전 세계적인 초고속인터넷망 및 FTTH 관련 서비스 확충에 따라 광통신 부품 업체의 호황과 아울러 휴대폰 부품시장, 반도체 광원(LED)분야의 전체적인 수출 및 내수시장규모가 증가한 것으로 조사됐다. 그러나 해외 원자재 구매 증가로 인해 수입 비율이 증가하고 반면 수출은 엔화, 달러 환율의 지속적인 하락에 영향을 받아 마이너스 성장한 분야도 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 광산업클러스터가 구성된 광주의 지역내 총생산은 2003년을 기준으로 하여 15조 7,229억 원으로 전국 비중은 2.2%를 차지하고 있을 정도로 열악하고 재정자립도도 6개 광역시 중에서 하위를 기록하고 있었으며 취업자 기준 산업구조도 서비스업이 80%정도를 차지할 정도로 구조적인 취약점을 안고 있었다. 이와 같은 광주경제의 어려운 상황을 근본적으로 타개하기 위하여 광주광역시가 21세기 최대의 유망산업인 광산업 육성 계획을 수립해 제시한 결과, 중앙정부 차원에서 광산업 육성 및 집적화 계획 1단계 사업(2000년~2003년)이 성공적으로 마무리 되고 현재는 2단계 사업(2004년~2008년)이 추진 중이다. 따라서 현시점에서 광산업 육성 성과를 판단할 수 있는 지표로 광주지역에 소재하고 있는 광산업체의 증가수와 매출액 등에 대하여 한국광산업진흥회에서 2006년 12월에 전수조사 하였다.

In general universal service in telecommunications means a regulatory tool to secure the availability of basic communication services like fixed telephony at an affordable price throughout a country. A re-evaluation of the scope of existing universal service, however, is becoming a core issue as the penetration and usage of broadband and mobile communications matures and a new ICT ecosystem emerges. This study examined whether the universal service polices in Korea need adapting and updating to include broadband and mobile telephony in the universal service, which is based on the necessary and sufficient conditions derived from previous research and foreign countries' experiences : geographical ubiquity of a certain service and the market's ability to provide the service. The result shows the nationwide ubiquity of broadband and mobile communications exists but the ultimate goal pursued by universal service polices trying to make them available and affordable for all is being fulfilled by market dynamics in Korea. Thus, the inclusion of both services in the scope of universal service is regarded as an unnecessary regulation at present time and the expansion of universal service could be addressed as a long-term issue depending on market conditions in the future.

광통신 기술의 발달과 인터넷 서비스 수요의 급격한 증가로 2000년대 초반부터 광가입자망 연구 및 상용화가 이루어졌다. 최근에는 스마트폰 등 모바일 단말의 확산과 IPTV의 수요 증대에 따른 폭발적 트래픽 증가에 대처하기 위하여 친환경, 에너지 절감형 차세대 초고속 대용량 광가입자망 기술에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 차세대 광가입자망은 국내뿐 아니라 국외에서도 다양한 프로젝트를 통해 전송 거리, 분기 수 및 전송 용량을 늘리는 방향으로 연구개발이 진행되고 있으며 기존의 TDM, WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 기술뿐만 아니라 무선 통신에서 사용되던 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) 등의 신호변조 기법들을 광가입망 기술에 접목하려는 시도들이 진행되고 있다. 이와 같은 광가입자망 기술들은 ITU-T, IEEE, IEC뿐만 아니라 FSAN(Full Service Access Network), BBF(Broadband Forum), MSF(Multi-service Forum) 등의 표준화 단체에서 활발히 국제표준화가 진행 중이다. 본고에서는 현재 진행되고 있는 차세대 광가입자망 기술에 대한 국내 외 기술개발 현황 및 표준화 현황을 살펴보고자 한다.

As the internet and I-commerce have been developing. a novel method for marketing is needed. A new advertisement using E-mail is becoming popular, because it has characteristics with low costs and relative efficiency. However. as the spam mails are increasing rapidly, mail service companies and users are deeply damaged in their mind and economically. In this paper, we design a hierarchical spam mail blocking policy through cooperation of all the participants-user, administrator, ISP to cut off the spam mail efficiently and Propose an efficient model to block and manage the spam mails based on the Policy. Also we prove the efficiencies and effectiveness of the proposed model through evaluation process .

In this paper, the high efficiency Doherty power amplifier using adaptive bias technique has been designed and realized for 2.3GHz Wibro applications. The RF performances of the Doherty power amplifier using adaptive bias technique have been compared with those of a class AB amplifier alone, and conventional Doherty amplifier. The Maximum PAE of designed Doherty power amplifier with adaptive bias technique has been 36.6% at 34.0dBm output power. The proposed Doherty power amplifier showed an improvement 1dB at output power and 7.6% PAE than a class AB amplifier alone.

In this paper, we propose a novel MHCOC (Mapped High Capacity Orthogonal Code) SS(Spread Spectrum) technique that reduces high PAPR (Peak power to Average Power Ratio) of HCOC SS system which was proposed to support high data rate transmission, and we compare to the conventional modulation technique such as MQAM SS that can transmit the same number of symbols at the same time. Moreover, we study on adaptation of this system to satisfy QoS (Quality of Service) that services the proper data rate according to the propagation channel quality information. We perform computer simulation to verify the performance of the proposed system and analyze its availability.

인터넷의 보급과 초고속 정보통신망의 급속도로 발전함에 따라 학습자와 교수의 상호작용이 가능하며 학술에 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 가상강의 저작도구가 절대적으로 요구되고 있으나 이 저작도구의 개발을 위해 현재는 교사와 학생간의 인터페이스 제공이 미약하고 표준화된 문서 환경과 플랫폼이 없이 서비스를 제공하는 웹 환경으로 인해 개발자들의 작업이 방대해지고 있는 있다. 따라서 최근 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법론의 대두로 가상강의 저작도구를 위한 교육용 컴포넌트에 관심이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 개발 방법론을 통해 웹 환경에서 구현할 때 적용가능한 강의 저작도구 컴포넌트를 요구 공학 생명주기를 통해서 분석, 설계한다. 요구공학에서 사용자 인터페이스 부분을 가상강의에서 교수, 학습자 측면을 고려하고 비즈니스 로직, 동영상과 슬라이드의 동기화, 오디오, 슬라이드 이미지 등을 요구공학 생명주기에서의 산출된 요구공학 명세서를 바탕으로 분석, 설계한다. 개발된 컴포넌트는 가상강의 저작도구를 지원가능하며. 각 컴포넌트는 교육영역의 애플리케이션에 쉽게 적응 가능함으로써 재사용성, 사용의 용이성과 이식성을 가질 수 있다.

In this thesis. we present the cyber lecture system based on XML that uses the communication network as the 100Mbps LAN. The system was designed to analysis the existing cyber lecture system and its details arid to examine web system architecture and XML 3-tier model The result of the study consists of he cyber lecture system based on XML developed on 100Mbps LAN to improve method of the cyber lecture system by using ma 3-tier model arid utilisation of web interface to offer handiness of the cyber lecture system.

This paper describes the personal video recorder-based approach to realise enhanced services for interactive programmes on digital television. So far it is very difficult that most of interactive programmes included the vast quantities of contents, whatsoever it is data-broadcasting or HD-ready, are broadcasted on digital television via the current set-top box. Furthermore it was not possible to envisage until IPTV has been appeared. Even though IPTV makes possible for streaming the interactive services via high-speed broadband, it is not easy to receive the tremendous contents with interactivity through the current set-top box in a single effort. In this paper it suggests the effective solution to resolve the download dilemma for providing the interactive services on digital television by employing the set-top box fitted with the personal video recorder.

It is necessary to devise the method for increasing bandwidth efficiency in order to provide the high speed mobile multi-media communication services with CDMA under the limited radio bandwidth resources. In this paper the structure for transmitting the high speed data at the half bandwidth of the required bandwidth using the symmetry property of the IFFT output of the binary input MC-CDMA, which enables the time scaling method utilized, is proposed. The processing gain is increased 4 times than the DS-CDMA and its performance is evaluated as better than DS-CDMA with rake receivers under the Rayleigh fading channel and same bandwidth per one channel.
