The purpose of this study is to develop STEAM program for gifted education by combining educational contents of humanities, arts, engineering, technology, and design into various subjects, focusing on mathematics-science curriculum of elementary school. The achievement standards and curriculum contents of elementary mathematics-science curriculum were analyzed while considering 2015 revised national curriculum. And then, a 16 class-hour convergence education program consisting of 3-hour block time was developed by applying the STEAM model with 4 steps. The validity of the program developed through this process was verified, and four educational experts evaluate whether the program can be applied to the elementary school. Based on the evaluation results, the convergence education program was finalized. As a result of implementing the gifted education program for mathematics-science, students achieved the objectives and values of convergence education such as creative design, self-directed participation, cooperative learning, and interest in class activities (game, making). If this convergence education program is applied to regular class, creative experiential class, or class for gifted children, students can promote their scientific creativity, artistic sensitivity, design sence, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to obtain a suggestion for writing, revising, and reorganizing for the current Korean Home Economics Textbook. To achieve this goal, the housing unit in the Home Economics curriculums from eight kinds of Japanese textbooks were analyzed. The subject of analysis was Technology Home Economics textbook Home Economics Part 2 volumes used in middle school 2009 and Home Economics Synthesis 6 volumes in high school. Contents of main text, terminology, reading material, tables and activities were analyzed. The suggestions of this analysis are as followings. First according to the increase of the level of school, if the field of housing is organized to be intensified systematically with relation to education, the goal of the subject would be clearly realized to the students. Thus, the middle school curriculum and textbook of housing field should be constructed with the consideration of education level according to the grade and the level of school. The method of intensive education in single point of time would result in low efficiency so the current curriculum should be re-considered. Second, perspective of resident, local community, terrain environment, housing culture should be included in housing education so that the learner may value the relationship between him and the society, think of the earth environment, succeed and advance the traditional culture. Third, the curriculum of the housing field should be organized with the consideration of understanding the level of middle, high school students. Middle school, with their student's low understanding, should include more experiential activity such as experiment and practice in their curriculum. On the other hand, curriculum which can enable student to research problems on their own and to apply them in their real life is required in high school course.

This study attempted to determine the relationship between college students' motivation for major selection (personal motivation, social motivation), academic performance, and career maturity, and to identify the influencing factors of career maturity in order to provide basic data for improving career maturity. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 199 university students in C city. As a result of examining the correlation between personal motivation for major selection, social motivation, academic achievement, and career maturity, career maturity showed a significant positive correlation with personal motivation for major selection (r=.417, p=.00) and no significant correlation with social motivation for major selection and academic achievement. The influencing factors of career maturity were personal motivation for major selection, economic activity, and major department, and the explanatory power was 24%. Therefore, it seems that university-level support is needed to enable students to engage in economic activities in fields related to their majors. Since personal motivation is important in major selection, we should focus on increasing personal motivation for major selection by providing high school students with a wide range of opportunities, such as career experience and future work experience.

Second, All design forms are the cases which the values based on the aesthetic expression system are subjected to Third, Thus All design forms are the modalities of the aesthetic expression based on the values. The certainty of this judgement, reasoning is the proof that the correspondence between the moving as the aesthetic expression and design form is the fact. That is to say, It is the proof that Users lively experience the aesthetic meaning, pleasure in fact as the aesthetic values are subjected to all design forms. The lived experience of each user in their daily life itself is the only method or assurance for this. The moving integrates the existence of a product and what should be of users into the aesthetic dimension and at the same time, is realized based on this. The emphasized theme in all cases of this study is not the product but the moving. So, The product design is changed into the action which structures the moving like above to a product.
This study has developed STEAM educational program designed to cultivate topophilia using Jeonbuk educational resources and applied the program to a science camp. Topophilia is a sense of attachment and nostalgia towards one's birth place and specific objects, which can create positive affection and act as motivations for learning to the students. We developed a 32-hour STEAM program which consisted of 8 experiential activities and 2 travel programs including Gochujang, Hanok Village, a reverse ice spikes in Mai Mountain, and art works by Choi Book. In particular, we emphasized the fun of class, voluntary learning, and process of attaching significance by providing aesthetic and emotional experience of synesthesia. As a result of application, the students' level of confidence(Likert scale level 4, 2.5 points) in science and the level of interests(3.3 points) have improved. The pleasant experience of voluntary learning and active participation in class provided meaningful memories through value recognition and significance ascription. 93.3% of the students participated said they would recommend the Topophilia science camp to their peers. The level of satisfaction overall was 3.8 points(Likert scale level 5) and the program received positive evaluations that the class was fun and interesting(4.1 points).

The purpose of this study is to explore needs and the direction for the development of localization data in the geological field of elementary school. Many studies show that geology-related learning is highly effective in the form of direct learning, and It is reported that this learning has a positive effect on students' scientific attitudes. As such, the first-hand experience of the geological learning is outdoor geology learning and is the basis and core of the development of localization materials. However, the analysis of this study shows that the development of outdoor geology learning site is mainly conducted in some regions. In addition, considering that geological sites are distributed evenly throughout Korea, it is necessary to actively develop geological-related localization materials to learn elementary school geology-related units. In addition, some areas where outdoor geological study grounds were developed are composed only of learning places and no specific learning materials have been developed. In this regard, not only geological researchers but also field teachers working in the area need much effort. Development of localization material in the geological field needs to be developed at the level of material presented in the geology unit of the textbook. And in the actual class, it is desirable to use the textbook data and the developed localization data at the same time. In addition, the development of the outdoor geology field should be developed in consideration of the pre-experience-post activities so that learners can have various geological experiences.

In recent years, universities are actively developing and applying regular start-up curriculum, comparisons and activities in order to revitalize various forms of business-oriented academic programs. In addition, the government has established various experiential entrepreneurship education programs such as "Student Entrepreneurship Team 300 (U-300)" to support professional entrepreneurship education such as entrepreneurship mentoring for entrepreneurship clubs in universities nationwide. Therefore, this study empirically verified the influence of participation motivation,, mentoring function, and mentor competence on entrepreneurship education satisfaction and entrepreneurship will for participants of experiential entrepreneurship programs centered on entrepreneurship mentoring. The results of the study were as follows: First, the motivation to participate in entrepreneurship education and mentoring capacity had a significant positive effect on the satisfaction of entrepreneurship education. It became. The findings of this study suggest that in order to more effectively promote entrepreneurship education in the university, which is now quantitatively expanded, it is necessary to improve various ways of creating qualitative effects such as expansion of experiential teaching methods and entrepreneurship mentoring. We believe this could provide policy implications for reinforcing the expertise of entrepreneurs who conduct mentoring.

This study investigates the satisfaction of students who participated in 'Disaster Safety and On-Site Emergency Management' weekend course, the high school-university affiliated program, to provide the basic data on university's major linked program developing and teaching methods. 98 high school students attended the courses at D General high school and B University in North Jeonlla Province. Among the participants, 52%(51 students) were sophomores, while 56.1%(55 students) were male and 43.9%(43 students) were female. The collected data was analyzed by using the SPSS statistics version 21.0 program. 80.6%(79 students) among the participants chose the weekend course program by themselves, 85.7%(84 students) were with clear motivation and goal, and 42.9%(42 students) answered "so interested studying Emergency at a college in the future" The most important reasons to choose this program are as follows: score 4.68 for 'the degree to which the useful program for youth', score 4.58 for 'the leader's expertise', and score 4.53 for 'reflecting the opinion of youth.' After the program's experience, the 'certificate for cardiopulmonary resuscitation' was the most important and the most satisfactory with score 4.78 and score 4.83 respectively. As the university career program using various job experience can be a meaningful experience that enhance the level of career status and career decisions of high school students, this program will strengthen the affiliation between high school and university curriculum and establish the sufficient national social system environment.
Traditional music not only reveals Korean culture to foreigners but also it enhances the pride of national identity for Koreans themselves. Objectives of this study are how can we encourage and appreciate traditional music to ordinary visitors (non-musicians). Music festivals could be a means to educate and captivate them towards the appreciation of Korean traditional music. For this purpose, this study checked the satisfaction level between local residents and domestic visitors(including foreigners) concerning music festival programs, and also proposed a practical implications to traditional music organizers. According to the result, local visitors' satisfaction level were higher than other domestic visitors. Visitors showed higher interest in the music instruments like a 'Gayageum' they are able to relate to, rather than with other traditional unfamiliar musical instruments. It is thus crucial to encourage students and ordinary citizens to interact with traditional music instruments so as to enhance the satisfaction levels of domestic visitors. Some practical implications for traditional music organizers are that it is recommendable to have more guides who have thorough knowledge of traditional Korean music and who is able to interpret festival programs in foreign languages for foreign visitors.

The purpose of this study is to figure out the place characteristics of preferable city tourist attractions through the contents analysis of non-academic literatures such as tourist guidebooks and web materials. The most preferable Seoul tourist attractions were selected by their frequency in literatures including Namsan and Hangang as 'natural' places, Dugsu Palace and Gyungbok Palace as 'historical' places, Itaewon and Daehak-ro as 'lively-cultural' places that were classified by their relativistic character. The main findings of the research are as follows. The essential place characteristics of tourist attractions were synthesized in urban, regional and place scale respectively. While 'contrast' was found to be the most distinguished character of the tourist attractions in the urban context, 'connectivity' was found to be the most distinguished character of the tourist attractions in the regional context. In addition, both 'visibility' and 'experience' were found to be the most distinguished characters of the tourist attractions in the place context. The characteristics of these places seem to be the universal fascination factors of city tourist attractions currently recognized by ordinary citizens. We expect to further strengthen the city identity and the city tourism effect by adopting those research results systematically to the urban environment. Therefore, it is needed to vitalize the urban tourist attractions that we make them to be more 'contrasting' with urban areas surrounding them, more 'connective' with vicinity areas and more 'visibly fascinating' and 'experienced actively and meaningfully' in each place of tourist attractions.
