Recently, much attention is imposed on the design of the fuel assemblies in the Pressurized Light Water Reactor (PWR). Spacer grid is one of the main structural components in a fuel assembly. It supports fuel rods, guides cooling water, and maintains a coolable geometry from the external impact loads. In this research, a new shape of the spacer grid is designed by the axiomatic approach. The Independence axiom is utilized for the design. For conceptual design, functional requirements (FRs) are defined and corresponding design parameters (DPs) are found to satisfy FRs in sequence. Overall configuration and shapes are determined in this process. Detail design is carried out based on the result of the axiomatic design. For the detail design, the system performances are evaluated by using linear and nonlinear finite element analysis. The dimensions are determined by optimization. Some commercial codes are utilized for the analysis and design.

In all Mathematics I Textbooks(Kim, S. H., 2010; Kim, H. K., 2010; Yang, S. K., 2010; Woo, M. H., 2010; Woo, J. H., 2010; You, H. C., 2010; Youn, J. H., 2010; Lee, K. S., 2010; Lee, D. W., 2010; Lee, M. K., 2010; Lee, J. Y., 2010; Jung, S. K., 2010; Choi, Y. J., 2010; Huang, S. K., 2010; Huang, S. W., 2010) in high schools in Korea these days, it is written and taught that for a positive real number $a$, $a^{\frac{m}{n}}$ is defined as $a^{\frac{m}{n}}={^n}\sqrt{a^m}$, where $m{\in}\mathbb{Z}$ and $n{\in}\mathbb{N}$ have common prime factors. For that situation, the author shows his opinion that the definition is not well-defined and $a^{\frac{m}{n}}$ must be defined as $a^{\frac{m}{n}}=({^n}\sqrt{a})^m$, whenever $^n\sqrt{a}$ is defined, based on the field axiom of the real number system including rational number system and natural number system. And he shows that the following laws of exponents for reals: $$\{a^{r+s}=a^r{\cdot}a^s\\(a^r)^s=a^{rs}\\(ab)^r=a^rb^r$$ for $a$, $b$>0 and $s{\in}\mathbb{R}$ hold by the completeness axiom of the real number system and the laws of exponents for natural numbers, integers, rational numbers and real numbers are logically equivalent.

The human species has been able to fly for about a century - with the help of aircraft of various kinds. Recently. air vehicles which are like an insect or a bird with flapping wings have been appeared, although many of them are experimental flight vehicle. However, the rubber-powered flapping vehicle is put to practical use such as toy, which flies for some seconds. In this paper, we analyze and evaluate above the rubber-powered flight vehicle using axiomatic design and will present new four flapping wing model.

The ideals of the rings of integers are used to induce rational number system as operators(=group homomorphisms). We modify this inducing method to be effective in teaching rational numbers in secondary school. Indeed, this modification provides a nice model for explaining the equality property to define addition and multiplication of rational numbers. Also this will give some explicit ideas for students to understand the concept of 'field' efficiently comparing with the integer number system.

Infinite decimals have an infinite number of digits, chosen arbitrary and independently, to the right side of the decimal point. Since infinite decimals are ambiguous numbers impossible to write them down completely, the infinite decimal representation accompanies unavoidable opaqueness. This article focused the transparent aspect of infinite decimal representation with respect to the completeness axiom of real numbers. Long before the formalization of real number concept in $19^{th}$ century, many mathematicians were able to deal with real numbers relying on this transparency of infinite decimal representations. This analysis will contribute to overcome the double discontinuity caused by the different conceptualizations of real numbers in school and academic mathematics.

Starting from a collection V as a model which satisfies the axioms of NBG, we call the elements of V as sets and the subcollections of V as classes. We reconstruct the G$\ddot{o}$del's proof of the consistency of GCH and AC with the axioms of Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory by using Mostowski-Shepherdson mapping theorem, reflection principles in Tarski-Vaught theorem and Montague-Levy theorem and the fact that NBG is a conservative extension of ZF.

소득분포에 관한 연구는 경제이론의 측면에서나 사회정의의 차원에서 많은 연구자들의 관심의 초점이 되어 왔다. 특히 경제 성장과 개발의 과정에서 그 과실의 분배효과가 장기적으로 공동체로서의 사회적 개발의식에 미치는 영향이 크다는 사실에 비추어 이 문제는 단순히 기능적인 측면에서의 고찰보다는 체제와 이념적인 차원으로서의 문제로 발전되고, 또한 이 차원에서 구명되는 주요과제로 남게 되었다. 이 논문은 RGKO 방정식을 소개하는 절은 서론뒤에 후속시켰고, 이에 따라 가설의 공리성을 그다음 절에서 밝히고 있으며, 그 뒤로는 구체적인 추정절차를 논술하고, 끝으로 결론과 부록을 첨부하였다.

Null steering and beam steering are known well as anti-jamming methods in GPS anti-jamming system. Null steering gets a noise attenuation effect for the direction of jamming and beam steering earns additional gain synthesis for the direction of satellite signals. According to the research in the article for signal processing, it expresses that the N array antenna is effective for N-1 number of jamming signal by math public interest, however, the two algorithms analysis is not unknown for the operating condition of the realistic vehicle. In this paper, we modeled anti-jamming system using 4 and 7 array antenna and showed the two algorithms performance (PM, LCMV) when considering the number of antenna array, jammers and vehicle position (horizontal, vertical). In result, we showed that the case of vertical position of the vehicle which has large tilt angle for the relative position of satellites and jammers, has about 10 dB gain more in comparison with one of vertical position in spite of same JSR condition.

The objective of this paper is to design teaching units to foster secondary pre-service teachers' mathematising abilities. In these teaching units we focus on generalizing area of a 2-dimensional triangle and volume of a 3-dimensional tetrahedron to n-volume of n-simplex In this process of generalizing, principle of the permanence of equivalent forms and Cavalieri's principle are applied. To find n-volume of n-simplex, we define n-orthogonal triangular prism, and inquire into n-volume of it. And we find n-volume of n-simplex by using vectors and determinants. Through these teaching units, secondary pre-service teachers can understand and inquire into n-simplex which is generalized from a triangle and a tetrahedron, and n-volume of n-simplex which is generalized from area of a triangle and volume of a tetrahedron. They can also promote natural connection between school mathematics and academic mathematics.
