The aim of this study was to distinguish 3 concepts(capacity, capability, and performance) for the motor activities of children with cerebral palsy(CP) and examinate relation between capacity(can do in a standardized environment), capability(can do in daily environment), and performance(does do in daily environment). Cross-sectional analysis with a assessment record of children with CP (n=40; 19males, 21 females; mean age 6y 6mo, SD 3y 8mo) was performed. Levels of severity according to the Gross Motor Function Classification System(GMFCS) included level1(13%), level2(10%), level3(43%), level 4(33%), and level 5(3%). Motor activities capacity was assessed by the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM-66). Capability and performance were assessed using 2 scales(functional skill, caregiver assistance) of the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory(PEDI). Correlations between capacity and capability was 0.811(p < .05), and between capability and performance were high(r=0.711, p < .05). And the correlation between capacity and performance is the lowest(r=0.711, p < .05). Motor performance levels are only partly reflected by the motor capacity and motor capability levels in children with CP. Because performance is influenced by Contextual factors (particularly, social factors such as family function). This study suggests that it is necessary to distinguish and evaluate the capacity, capability, and performance in children with cerebral palsy.
The purpose of this study is to develop tool for the assessment of employment preparedness for people with visual impairments. First, we developed a draft assessment factors. Reckless use of the Internet by children is a barrier to daily life and has a negative impact on children's physical, psychological and relational aspects. But more and more children depend on the Internet. Thus, the study conducted a meta-analysis to examine the effectiveness of group programs that involve Internet addiction among elementary school students. The study analyzed 18 studies of a local Internet group counseling program. First, the overall effectiveness of Internet-dependent group programs that cause Internet addiction reduction in elementary school students is shown to be g=0.90, indicating that group counseling programs are effective in reducing Internet addiction and changing related variables. Second, as a result of verifying differences between groups, there were differences in effectiveness in voluntary participation motivations. Therefore, intervention by elementary school students requires preventive training for smart phones so that voluntary participation can occur, and education for parents to develop autonomy for children to use smartphones properly. And rather than making these efforts limited to smart phones, IT retriever education needs to be organized.
Objectives: The objective of this study was to provide clinical evidence to support the use of a herbal medicine (Cheonwangbosim-Dan/Tianwangbuxin-Pellet (TWBXP)) for insomnia. Methods: Randomized controlled trials that verified effects of Herbal Medicine (Cheonwangbosim-Dan, Tianwangbuxin-Pellet) treating primary insomnia were carried out. A literature search of English, Chinese, Korean databases was also performed. The selected literature were assessed by Risk of Bias (RoB). Results: The total number of selected trials was 13 RCTs. Among the 13 RCTs, 10 were meta-analyzed. The Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders-3 (CCMD-3) was frequently used as the diagnostic criteria for interventions during the analysis of the use of herbal medicine (Cheonwangbosim-Dan/Tianwangbuxin-Pellet) for management of primary insomnia. As for outcome measurement, the effective rate was used. From the Meta-analysis of the studies, it was established that the insomnia cure effective rate in the TWBXP group was higher than that in the Western Medicine (WM) group (RR: 1.15, 95% CI: 1.07 to 1.24, p<0.0001, $I^2=33%$). Also, the effective rate in the TWBXP+ACU group was significantly different compared to the WM group (RR: 1.32, 95% CI: 1.13 to 1.54, p=0.0004, $I^2=0%$). The quality of the selected RCTs was low. Conclusions: Herbal medicine (Cheonwangbosim-Dan/Tianwangbuxin-Pellet) is effective for treating primary insomnia. It is worth noting that this studies were of relatively poor quality. The sample sizes were also small. Therefore, further investigations into the diagnosis and treatment of insomnia are warranted.

Objective : This study aimed to analyze the effect of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on cognitive function recovery in patients with stroke. Methods : Data published in Korean and foreign academic journals from 2009 to 2019 were searched using the NDSL, RISS, PubMed, and CINAHL databases. A total of 11 experimental research articles were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A qualitative assessment was conducted, and a meta-analysis of nine results from seven of the stuides was performed using the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0 program. Results : Based on the results of the meta-analysis, the attention and memory effect sizes were 0.725 and 0.796, respectively, which were both considered a "medium effect size". Statistically significant changes were observed in both the areas (p<0.05). Conclusion : The results of this study confirmed that tDCS can be useful in the rehabilitation of patients with stroke with limited cognitive function. In addition, the application methods differed, indicating that a formalized tDCS protocol is required.

Currently, in the design process of civil structures such as bridges, it is common to make final products by repeating the process of redesigning, if the initial design is found to not meet the standards after a structural review. This iterative process extends the design time, and causes inefficient consumption of engineering manpower, which should be put into higher-level design, on simple repetitive mechanical work. This problem can be resolved by automating the design process, but the external analysis program used in the design process has been the biggest obstacle to such automation. In this study, we constructed an AI-based automation system for the bridge design process, including an interface that could control both a reinforcement learning algorithm, and an external analysis program, to replace the repetitive tasks in the current design process. The prototype of the system built in this study was developed for a 2-span RC Rahmen bridge, which is one of the simplest bridge systems. In the future, it is expected that the developed interface system can be utilized as a basic technology for linking the latest AI with other types of bridge designs.

In this paper, we proposed an active fault tolerant control (AFTC) method for the position control of a quadrotor with complete loss of effectiveness of one motor. We obtained the dynamics of a quadrotor using Lagrangian equation without small angle assumption. For detecting the fault on a motor, we designed a fault detection module, which consists of the fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) module and the fault detection and isolation (FDI) module. For the FDD module, we designed a nonlinear observer that observes the states of a quadrotor based on the obtained dynamics. Using the observed states of a quadrotor, we designed residual signals and set the appropriate threshold values of residual signals to detect the fault. Also, we designed an FDI module to identify the fault location using the designed additional conditions. To make a quadrotor track the desired path after detecting the fault of a motor, we designed a fault tolerant controller based on the multiple sliding surface control (MSSC) technique. Finally, through simulations, we verified the effectiveness of the proposed AFTC method for a quadrotor with complete loss of effectiveness of one motor.

Access to knowledge and information is a universal human right. However, even after the Marrakesh Treaty was adopted on June 27, 2013, only 1-7% of standard printed materials are accessible to people with reading disabilities, including the visually impaired, and library services are very weak. As a result, the book famine of people with reading disabilities continues. This study, focusing on such severe access gaps and inequalities, analyzes Learning Ally and Bookshare in the US, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) in the UK, Bibliothèque Numérique Francophone Accessible (BNFA) in France, and SAPIE in Japan, which are considered private organizations leading library services for the disabled in major developed countries. And based on the derived implications and the Marrakesh Treaty, a strategic plan was proposed to strengthen the services of the disabled in domestic libraries. It is urgent to enact the 'Act to Resolve Reading Barriers', amend the provisions related to the Copyright Act that restrict library services, strengthen the organizational capacity of the National Library for the Disabled, raise the service index for the disabled in library evaluation, and establish a library cooperation system centered on regional representative libraries and expand services, etc.

Chronic diseases have been increasing recently as the average life expectancy of humans has been extended, and this trend has caused problems such as the widespread demand for health and rehabilitation services and rising medical costs. In order to solve this problem, the community-based rehabilitation has been developed and strengthened in Korea and gradually promoted since 2019. It is important to secure access to clients who want to use services to revitalize community-based rehabilitation. So in this study, as part of the community-based rehabilitation, intends to devise smartphone applications designs and develop a prototype to secure access to community-based occupational therapy services based on occupation and activities. For Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF), International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), and Allen Diagnostic Module-2 (ADM-2) were used to devise and categorize occupation and activity based application content, and link OTPF, ICF, and ADM-2 through prior research analysis and expert meetings. The derived content was visualized through literature review and activity analysis, and was implemented to enable direct playback within the application using the YouTube API, and finally developed a prototype application. The Android Studio 3.5.2 for Windows 64-bit was used to build the application prototype. In further research, converging various digital technologies for user convenience and additionally researching community-based occupational therapy service providers opinions and service user satisfaction will improve accessibility to community-based occupational therapy services for clients who have difficulty occupational performance in the community.

The study aims to explore the rapidly changing university sports-related lecture environment from the perspective of professors and seek comprehensive and practical improvements in the online lecture environment for both professors and learners. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, six professors related to physical education at the university were selected as research participants, and in-depth interviews were used for about four months from September 2020 to December 2020. Examples of the problems, counterplans, and the improvement plans of professors who related to sports were shown as the results. First, the difficulties faced by professors have been divided into online and offline lecture problems, which are Internet and media possession, online lecture place amulet, professor-learner communication disorder, attendance verification and evaluation, COVID-19 infection, and face-to-face lecture place restriction since the outbreak of COVID-19. Second, professors' response to online and offline lecture problems was diversification of communication media, telecommuting, providing online learning videos, replacing and reinforcing practical classes, which were found to be somewhat lacking in government and school support systems. Finally, since the COVID-19 outbreak, Sports-related lecture's continuous problems and the professor's responses require the improvements such as government-level guidelines, university-level expansion of the venues for on- and off-line lecture, devising online lecture programs that enhance professor's convenience, and adjusting the number of participants for on- and off-line lecture.
