The purpose of this paper is to investigate Toegye's simhak in relation to spiritualism. In general, we call Chu Hsi's learning "lihak" (the learning of principle) while Wang Yangming's learning is described as "simhak" (the learning of mind). However, we sometimes call Toegye's learning "simhak" in spite of his respect for Chu Hsi's philosophy of li. Toegye's simhak is different from Wang Yangming's. Nonetheless, Toegye too, highlighted the existential meaning of truth. Toegye regarded simgyung (the book of mind) as one of the most important classics for self-cultivation. As is well known, Toegye's main concern was concentration on mind and heart cultivation. Toegye understood li as a spiritual being, which can actualize itself. The goal of simhak is to become a sage. For a sage, there is no contradiction between moral norm and human desire. To become a sage, Toegye developed the theory and practice of mind cultivation. Toegye's simhak has some common characteristics with Louis Lavelle's philosophy of spiritualism. Both Toegye and Louis Lavelle lay great emphasis on self reflection and spiritual life. In particular, Toegye developed the concrete method of mind cultivation. In the 21st century, human beings are confronted with spiritual crisis in many aspects. Toegye's simhak can be advanced as useful wisdom to keep one's mind in a peaceful and harmonious state.

This paper explores divination cultures of ancient China and how scriptures of the Zhou Yi had been interpreted in terms of Confucian ethics by the Confucian school focusing on Gan hexagram in the Shanghai Museum Zhou Yi manuscript. Gan hexagram shown on the Shanghai Museum Zhou Yi manuscript corresponds with Xian hexagram 咸卦 in the received text of the Zhou Yi, which means "gan 感," and the whole subjects of the hexagram are physical love and marriage between male and female. Such examples of divination for wedding between male and female are found frequently in ancient divination including Qinghuajian "Shifa" and these materials also demonstrates that Gan hexagram merely was a divination for love and marriage. However, Xunxi 荀子 "Dalue" 大略 and "Tuanzhuan" of the received text of the Zhou Yi had expanded to the dao 道 of husband and wife, and moreover, "erqi 二氣" philosophy of yin and yang by abstracting the theme of Gan hexagram, namely Xian hexagram, from love and marriage between male and female. Such expansion had stepped forward to a generative theory of all things that composes the world and cosmos in a way of natural philosophy and to a claim for peace under heaven in a way of human society through influences by shengren 聖人. "Xuguazhuan" also regards Xian hexagram 咸卦 as the dao of husband and wife and, based on it, expands to parents and children, sovereign and subject, superiors and inferiors, and the proprieties. The commentary of "Xuguazhuan" is concluded to human manners, starting with cosmic order. These statements interpreted scriptures of the Zhou Yi as Confucian ethics and show the aspects of how the Zhou Yi had become a Confucian classic.

In moral instruction, one of the important purposes is cultivate students' meaningful moral knowing. To obtain this purpose, generally systems approach has been adopted and used in moral instruction. Systems approach has emphasized efficient designs which do not occur incidental learning that does not contribute to obtain learning objectives. However, moral meaning may occur to the subject of knowing, then occurrence of coincidence can not be excluded. If we approach to moral instruction with operative and engineering ways, we may convey the learning object but it won't be received meaningfully. Because of such problem, moral instruction has been required an alternative perspective contrary to the systems approach. Above all we need to reconsider the logic of explanation based on the systems approach. Because the moral instruction is understood that it is a systematic and operative act according to the logic of explanation. According to the logic of explanation, education is an act that conveys the teachers' knowledge to students who have inferior knowledge to teachers'. During this process, students' interpretation has been overlooked. In moral instruction, the teachers' interpretation of moral meaning can occur and extend by students' interpretation. When we understand moral instruction as the course of alliance between interpretation, it could be stood out that teaching as a symbol, constitution of teaching text as a vacuum, learning as a coincidence. When we stand out these aspects, the moral instruction could be understand as a poetic act. And based on such understanding, we can abstract specific resemblances between the poetic act and the moral instruction. There are semantic invariants and semantic variants in the teaching text of moral instruction. The semantic variants premise uncertainty. The limitation, that is, semantic invariants and the openness which is possible within semantic variants are changed to the moral instruction by students' response. It is essential that a selective attention as esthetic transaction that could be changed from text to poet. Like this, we need to take notice of instructive aspects not to means for reaching learning objectives but to act for being possible disinterested experiential learning.

웹이 등장하면서 지금까지 인터넷 상에서 텍스트와 이미지를 이용하여 정보를 표현하고 전달하는 방법이 가장 많이 사용되어왔다. 그러나 웹 관련 기술의 비약적인 발달과 네트워크 속도의 증가 및 인터넷의 급속한 보급으로 단순한 텍스트와 이미지 중심의 HTML 문서를 이용한 정보의 전달이 아닌 멀티미디어 데이터를 이용한 정보의 표현과 전달이 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하기 위한 스트리밍 프로토콜도 등장하였다. 최근에는 컴퓨터의 성능 증가 및 네트워크 속도의 증가(초고속 통신 서비스의 보급)에 의해 멀티미디어 데이터의 전송이 가능하게 됨으로써 기존의 공중파나 CATV 방송국의 형태 지니고 인터넷 상에서 실시간 생방송 서비스와 VOD(Video On Demand) 서비스를 제공하는 인터넷 방송국이 급속하게 생겨나고 있다. In this paper, I review Pellegrino's Reader, The Philosophy of Medicine Reborn. Pellegrino has emphasized the humanities' reflection on the ethics of medicine. He insists that medical ethics should be re-established as modern society changes. This paper, based on Pellegrino's view, noted the problematic situation in literature and popular narrative texts. Indeed, I wanted to see what answer medical ethics could provide for us. Medical personnel had a philosophical dilemma or a conflict between reality and ethics. Pellegrino argues that medical personnel, above all, need to sympathize with the patient's pain and respond to their needs through interaction with them. This may seem like a very legitimate declaration. But a physician in literary texts and popular narrative texts is often exposed to this ethical dilemma. Through Lee Cheongjun's novel, we can reflect on how a medical personnel could lead a patient to a state of "goodness". And through medical dramas, we can grasp what ethical behaviors the public demands from a medical personnel. Now that the world is suffering from COVID-19, medical workers are in a great trouble, but at the same time, they are respected by the public and are also enhancing their value as ethical beings. Now that medical care has become an everyday narrative, medical ethics is becoming a prerequisite for living. This paper attempted to recognize the importance of medical ethics and to review the ethical issues embodied in medical narratives.

This paper examines the standard codes (Gangnyung: 綱領), basis of the study of Chunchu in Chunchuhak tradition during Chosun dynasty, through Park Sechae's Chunchubopyeon. The author aims to uncover the common awareness of, or an agreed view of, Chunchu among scholars of Chosun dynasty. Since Chunchubopyeon represents the Neo-Confucian understanding of Chunchu, it can be argued that the Gangnyung section of this book contained the standard codes which formed the basis of Chunchu studies. Of five key themes in Gangnyung, this paper addresses two in detail, and . The first argues that Chunchu is the grand principle of governing the world; a living law which drives the reality. The second theme, through a detailed recording of Chunchu, examines the grand principle of Chunchu. When studies after the present paper address the remaining themes in Gangnyung, it is expected that an access to the general characteristics or features of Chunchuhak during Chosun dynasty will be granted.

As a public institution, it is the duty and responsibility of a library to provide readers with information about books. To provide such information to readers, a librarian should have the ability to provide satisfactory consultation and advice. As interest in picture books grows, there is an increasing need for libraries and librarians to produce and release picture book reviews on a regular basis to inform readers of what makes a good picture book, and which among similar books should they choose. Other than summarizing the content of a picture book, a good picture book review should also provide additional information that will help readers understand the reviewed book such as the literary symbolism of a book's visual texts. To this end, a librarian is required to develop visual literacy, which would enable him/her to read into the deeper meaning of the images imbued with the writer's ideas and philosophy. In light of the above discussion, this study compares and analyzes two picture book versions of the story Little Red Riding Hood, with the purpose of helping librarians understand the visual texts that they need to refer to when writing picture book reviews.

Picture books, as a genre, are characterized by conveyance of ideas through linguistic texts, visual texts, and the complementary interactions between them. The writer of a picture book develops and delivers his or her ideas with textual contents written in a unique style, while the artist conveys the writer's ideas through pictures where things, objects, and figures are imbued with various emotions. Understanding a picture in a picture book requires an understanding of both the structure shown on the surface and the underlying structure that adapts and visualizes the philosophy and ideas of the writer. In light of the discussion above, this study proposes a method to help librarians improve their understanding of visual literacy for picture books, as visual literacy is required for the provision of readers' advisory services regarding picture books. This method, which is based on behavioral psychologist Rudolf Arnheim's theory of visual thinking, is expected to help librarians write picture book reviews or other secondary materials.

This was originally from the preceding research, '50 years of Sade's Studies,' and we have submitted this thesis by reorganizing it carefully in a paper format. To understand Sade, we had to go through and consider certain characteristics that the critics were reluctant to reveal. In other words, the revelation of the polythony throughout the work, the contradictory philosophical discourse of the characters, and the fact that Marquis' work is a situational text are factors to consider in this case. People have studied Sade disregarding these characteristics for a long period of time. Especially those groups of professional critics, has taken only a certain amount of Sade's work for their theoretical justification. As a result, the work of Sade became unreadable. Fortunately, researchers since 1990 have refused to continue the habitual of regarding Sade in the same light as his characters, and have instead focused on the process of researching the fundamentals based on the correct data, history and ideological context. We think that the research of those who have caused reverberations to the academic world would be the key point to the Studies of Sade in the future research.

This study collects social data and academic research data from portal sites and RISS, and analyzes TF-IDF, N-Gram, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis to analyze the social awareness and current aspects of 'AI Literacy' and 'AI Convergence Education'. Through this, we tried to understand the social awareness aspect and the current situation, and to suggest implications and directions. In the social data, the collection of 'AI Convergence Education' was more than twice that of 'AI Literacy', indicating that awareness of 'AI Literacy' was relatively low. In 'AI Literacy', the keyword 'human' in social data showed no cluster to which it belonged, indicating a lack of philosophical interest in and awareness of humanities and AI. In addition, the keyword 'Ministry of Education' showed high frequency, importance, and centrality of connection only in the social data of 'AI convergence education', confirming that 'AI convergence education' is closely related to government policy.
