A Comparison Study of the Retailer Managed and Vendor Managed Inventory Policies in the Inventory Routing Problems (재고 및 차량경로문제에서 소매점 주도와 공급자 주도 재고관리 정책에 대한 비교 연구)

  • 최근 소매점 공급사슬을 전체적인 관점에서 효율적으로 운영하기 위하여 공급자가 소매점의 재고를 관리하는 공급자 주도 재고관리(Vendor Managed Inventory; VMI)정책의 도입이 확산되고 있다. VMI 정책은 소매점에서 직접 수행하는 재고관리(Retailer Management Inventory; RMI)와는 달리 소매점의 재고수준에 대한 의사결정과 재고유지에 대한 재정적인 책임이 소매점으로부터 공급자에게 옮겨진다. 이에 따라 소매점은 공급자로부터 수시로 재고를 보충 받게 되고 주문절차는 사라진다. 또한 재고공간의 크기를 줄일 수 있게 된다. 공급자 또한 전체 소매점에 대한 효율적인 분배로써 비용절감의 효과를 기대할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구에서는 품절을 고려하며 소매점의 판매수요가 확정적인 상황에 대하여 RMI와 VMI에 대한 총비용을 최소화하는 수리모델을 통해 총비용 관점에서 RMI와 VMI정책을 비교하고자 한다. 계산실험을 통해 RMI와 VMI의 총비용 변화에 민감한 요인들을 분석하였고 VMI 적용으로 총비용을 절감시키기 위한 조건을 모색하였다. 실험결과, VMI의 적용은 항상 총비용 절감 효과를 나타내는 것이 아님을 확인 하였고 RMI에 대한 VMI의 총비용 증감효과는 RMI 정책의 소매점 주문비와 VMI정책의 소매점 재고공간의 크기 변화에 가장 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 간단한 소매점 공급사슬에 대해서 VMI의 총비용 감소조건을 제시하였다.

  • The significant of continuous welded rail (CWR) management is growing because KORAIL has the plan to convert the whole of conventional railway lines into CWRs through continuous activities since constructed the CWR track with 1.8km in Gyeongbu line in 1966. The CWR recently is needed a efficient management method because it is difficult to manage the CWR by the poor of technic and equipment, limited maintain labor force and shorted the maintain work time of CWR caused by industrialization, greenhouse effect and global warming In this point, The 70ton Tenser's which is using in the rail site has been analysised with no extra tenser's capacity in case of the under low temperature and exceed the length of 1km as a result of reviewing the CWR-related rules and standards, a series of records of safety accidents, operation obstacles, and the situation of broken rails published by KORAIL, existing rail temperature measurements, and CWR researches. Therefore avoid the excessive plan of the first set-up section, choice the proper time in the normal temperature that is possible to weld the rail, turning the difference of rail temperature and Installation temperature down is desirable.

Analysis of the acceleration measured on Korea and France high speed railways using UIC518 code (UIC518 방법에 의한 국내 및 프랑스 고속철도 차량 진동가속도 분석)

  • Track irregularities can be evaluated not only directly by track inspection but also indirectly by measurement of carbody accelerations and many researches are being conducted. Carbody accelerations were measured on the Kyeongbu high speed railway and France high speed line to investigate the situation of the track maintenance at Korea high speed line by using indirect method. Digital signal processing for the measured acceleration data were conducted according to UIC518 code. Since the vehicle speed affects the car body acceleration, the lateral and vertical acceleration of the car body were classified according to the vehicle speed and the distribution characteristics of these acceleration were investigated and evaluated by UIC518 criteria. Finally, the running behavior of KTX on Korea high speed railway were compared with that on France. Distribution characteristics of these acceleration were evaluated and discussed in terms of the track maintenance in Korea high speed line.

  • Concrete slab track was applied to the Gyeoungbu High Speed Railroad step 2 and the Honam High Speed Railroad. Concrete slab track incurs higher construction cost and lower maintenance cost than existing gravel track. For these reasons, the use of concrete slab track has increased in Korea. The biggest problem in the use of concrete slab track is repairing damage from settlement that can occur while trains are in service. High speed railroad design standards require allowable residual settlement of concrete slab track of less than 25mm. In order to satisfy the requirement of long term stability of concrete slab track, it is necessary to manage the secondary compression settlement within the allowable residual settlement. This study is to evaluate the secondary compression settlement with the variation of the secondary compression index, thickness of soft ground, and concrete slab track life. Statistical analysis is performed to determine the probability of distribution of areas where serious problems will be caused after the concrete slab track is constructed.

  • Externally, business environment in public institution has being changed as government business reference model(BRM) appeared and business management systems for transparency of a policy decision process are introduced. After Records Automation System started its operation, dissatisfaction grows because of inadequacy in system function and the problems about authenticity of electronic records. With these backgrounds, National Archives and Records Service had carried out 'Information Strategy Planning for Reform to Records Management System' for 5 months from September, 2005. As result, this project reengineers current records management processes and presents the world-class system model. After Records and Archives Management Act was made, the records management in public institution has propelled the concept that paper records are handled by means of the electric data management. In this reformed model, however, we concentrates on the electric records, which have gradually replaced the paper records and investigate on the management methodology considering attributes of electric records. According to this new paradigm, the electric records management raises a new issue in the records management territory. As the major contents of the models connecting with electric records management were analyzed and their significance and bounds were closely reviewed, the aim of this paper is the understanding of the future bearings of the management system. Before the analysis of the reformed models, issues in new business environments and their records management were reviewed. The government's BRM and Business management system prepared the general basis that can manage government's whole results on the online and classify them according to its function. In this points, the model is innovative. However considering the records management, problems such as division into Records Classification, definitions and capturing methods of records management objects, limitations of Records Automation System and so on was identified. For solving these problems, the reformed models that has a records classification system based on the business classification, extended electronic records filing system, added functions for strengthening electric records management and so on was proposed. As regards dramatically improving the role of records center in public institution, searching for the basic management methodology of the records management object from various agency and introducing the detail design to keep documents' authenticity, this model forms the basis of the electric records management system. In spite of these innovations, however, the proposed system for real electric records management era is still in its beginning. In near feature, when the studies is concentrated upon the progress of qualified classifications, records capturing plans for foreign records structures such like administration information system, the further study of the previous preservation technology, the developed prospective of electric records management system will be very bright.

Development of Pavement Condition Index for the Municipal Pavements (시단위 포장도로의 포장평가지수개발)

  • In Korea, Expressway and National Highway System has been continually managed by their own pavement management system. The pavement condition evaluation system has not been developed for the municipal roads except for Seoul city. Therefore, this study focuses on analyzing the characteristics of distress in major city's pavement and developing the pavement condition index for the municipal PMS. Panel rating and pavement condition survey for the selected pavement sections were conducted for developing pavement condition index. Municipal level pavement condition index(MPCI) was developed by statistical analysis. Also, a sensitivity analysis for each independent variable of the MPCI and comparison with other pavement condition indicies, such as SPI and HPCI, were performed.

Prediction of Jacking Force Loss for Serviced High Speed Railway PSC BOX Bridge Using Constant Deflection (상시처짐을 이용한 공용중인 고속철도 PSC BOX교의 긴장력 손실 예측)

  • Jacking force loss management inside the PSC Box girder of a common high-speed railway is a very important feature in girder performance, and requires detailed management during the maintenance of the girder. This study aimed to analyze the timing of re-tension prediction of PSC Box girder based on the reduction level of the packing force inside the girder and the results of the tension loss measured without the train load test. As a result of predicting the timing of re-tension according to the level of tension reduction of the PSC Box Girder, the Jacking Force Loss curve was gently analyzed before the structure reached 17 years after confirmed completion, and 17 years later, it was found that the jacking force loss curve progressed rapidly. The results confirmed that the tension of the structure decreases with the service life increase, but considerably decreases as the structure ages. Therefore, more data and research on tension loss of facilities over 20 years are much required.

  • 하도 안정성에 민감하게 반응하는 대표적 하천 구역은 본류와 지류의 합류부이다. 이와 같은 합류부에서는 흐름과 하상변동 양상이 상대적으로 복잡하다. 이는 본류 및 지류 간 유사이송량, 유황, 흐름, 하도경사 등 수리특성이 서로 다르기 때문이다. 지류 합류부에서는 지류 자체의 하상 변동 영향뿐만 아니라 본류의 하상변동으로부터도 직 간접적으로 영향을 받는다. 즉 본류에서 자연적이든 인위적이든 어떤 원인으로 말미암아 하상저하가 갑자기 일어나면 지류의 하도 종단경사 변화가 현저하게 일어나는, 이른 바 두부침식 현상이 발생하기도 한다. 한편 본류와 지천 사이 흐름특성 유사거동 특성이 서로 다르기 때문에 합류뷰 주위에 지속적인 국지퇴적이 야기되기도 한다. 합류부에서 이와 같은 침식 또는 퇴적 현상으로 말미암아 하천관리상 여러 문제점을 야기한다. 이에 따라 지류 합류부에서 하천경사를 일정하게 유지하기 위하여 하상유지공 설치 등 적절한 하도안정화 대책을 모색해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 하천정비기본계획에서 현안의 분석을 통해 개선 방안을 제시하였으며, 국가 및 지방 하천 3,836 개소에 대한 합류부 도상과 일부 현장 조사를 실시하였다. 조사?분석 결과를 바탕으로 합류부의 재해 유발 지표를 도출하고 전문가로부터 의견 수렴을 통해 가중치를 부가하여 합류부 재해 위험성 및 안정성 평가 기법을 정립하였다. 그 동안 관련 부처 및 지자체에서 하천계획을 수립하는 데, 중점 정비 및 관리가 필요로 하는 합류부를 선정 시 그 기준이 모호하였다. 그러나 본 연구에서 정량적으로 정립한 기준은 하천 합류부의 재해 위험성을 평가할 수 있어 고도의 하천관리를 지향할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였다.

  • As a modem urban train is getting complex in terms of high-technology in its systems and components, the failure management should be performed with scientific and systematic technique. FMEA is a technique to analyze the failure trends of component parts and influences to the higher level system in order to discover the design incompleteness and potential defects, which is for improving reliability. Especially, FMECA (Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is used in case that the criticality that has an immense influence to the system is important. In case of urban train, in its design and manufacturing steps, FMEA is frequently used as an analysis technique to meet the safety objectives and eliminate potential hazards/failures since the concepts of reliability of train is introduced these days. Though, FMEA technique in the maintenances steps lacks in its investigation and applications yet. FMEA is also not applied to the trains operated by Seoul metro in the design and manufacture steps excepts the newest trains. In this paper, through analyzing the failures/maintenance data of the belt-type door systems used in trains operated in Seoul metro Line 1, which is accumulated in RIMS (Rolling-stock Information Maintenance System), FMEA procedures to the belt-type door engines are proposed. Especially, an effort is made, to approach the detailed FMECA procedures to the door magnet valve and switch and door engine devices which vastly influences the customer safety and satisfaction.

Damage Status of Turnout System with Wooden Sleeper of Concrete Track on Urban Transit (도시철도 콘크리트궤도 목침목 분기기의 손상현황)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the damage status of wood sleepers on concrete track of urban transit at different locations and to analyze the causes of damages. In addition, the turnout maintenance history during the service period of about 24 years was analyzed in conjunction with the train passing tonnage and that was to compare the current repair history. The most frequent damage components were rail, tie plate, spike and wooden sleeper. And, the damage caused by the defect of the rail fastening system such as spike and tie plate according to the deformation of the wooden sleeper was analyzed as the main type of damage. As a result, the damage of track components of turnout system was on the increase because they are directly affected by the train passing tonnage. The supplementary points of the check sheet for current turnout maintenance were derived and the improvement proposal was suggested based on the research results.
