  • 건축전기설비 표준시방서는 건축설비의 안전 및 공사시행의 적정성과 품질확보 등을 위한 표준적인 시공기준으로서 발주자 또는 설계등의 용역업자가 공사 시방서를 작성하는 경우 활용하기 위한 시공기준이다. 이번에 개정된 건축전기설비공사 표준시방서는 국제규격(NEC)등의 내용을 참조하여 종전 시방서의 수변전설비, 조명설비, 동력설비, 방재전기설비, 예비전원설비, 정보설비 부분에 대한 대폭적인 개정이 이루어졌다.

Application Possibility of Folding Pre-fabricated Rebar Cage in Domestic Construction Fields (접이식 철근 선조립 공법의 적용 가능성 검토에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, construction companies have had difficulty in managing their business due to economic hardship domestically and abroad, decreased orders, and low profitability due to intensified competition. To address these issues, construction companies need to develop or introduce construction methods that improve productivity. The purpose of this study is to investigate a re-bar construction method that reduces the high expenses of transport by folding a pre-fabricated re-bar cage. It was concluded that the application of rebar pre-fabrication would be activated and the productivity of construction sites improved by adopting the folding rebar pre-fabrication method.

  • In this study, nonlinear finite element analysis procedures are presented for the seismic performance assessment of circular reinforced concrete bridge piers with confinement steel. This paper defines a damage index based on the predicted hysteretic behavior of a circular reinforced concrete bridge pier. Damage indices aim to provide a means of quantifying numerically the damage in circular reinforced concrete bridge piers sustained under earthquake loading. The proposed numerical method is applied to circular reinforced concrete bridge piers with confinement steel tested by the authors. The proposed numerical method gives a realistic prediction of seismic performance throughout the loading cycles for several test specimens investigated.

  • As the bearing wall structure, which has been widely applied to domestic apartment buildings since the 1980s, cause many problems during remodeling of buildings, the government encourages constructors to adopt flat plate or rahmen structure through legal incentives. In line with such a trend, the green frame, an eco-friendly rahmen structure that has removed the shortcomings of previous structures, was developed to enhance structural safety, constructability, and eco-friendliness. The construction of green frame can reduce the labor cost and facilitate the composition of iron bars to reduce rebar loss through calculating the quality and establishing the bar bending schedule automatically on the precast concrete member data collected over the design phase. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the algorithm to automate the calculation of iron bar volume for the green frame designed on composite precast concrete members. Automated algorithm to calculate concrete structural design information and design information. Practices through the application site should prove efficacy. The database established by the developed algorithm will automate the establishment of iron bar processing map and bar cutting list and the calculation of optimal composition and order volume to minimize the rebar loss. This will also reduce the expenses on management staff and overall construction cost through the minimization of rebar loss.

  • With labor shortage and high-wage, the construction cost is rising and the construction-business is dull, demanding the construction environment of Korea to raise profitability through major cost savings and rationalization of construction management. Therefore, in this study, to improve many problems found in calculating rebar quantity for capital expenditure programming which is considered the beginning stage of rebar work. and to improve problems such as no grasping of rebar loss due to lack of systematic management in order/purchase stage and construction management stage, a rebar information-management-system was found and preyed. The relation database was designed for the rebar information management system by analyzing work process of a rebar manufacturing plant, as the rebar information that is necessary in a rebar manufacturing plant if similar to that of a purchasing department of general construction company. The Proposed rebar information management system was implemented in two large rebar production plants. The implementation of the proposed system showed that the system increased work efficiency, reduced the management manpower, and improved the project-integrated management

  • The reinforcing steel process is composed of the development of placing drawing, cutting and bending, and the placement and fabrication of the reinforcement, and is participated in by reinforcement detailer, the fabricator and placer. Because the reinforcing steel process-from estimating and rebar detailing, to production, material tracking, billing, and general accounting-is conducted by many participant, reinforcement details based on building code and reinforcing bar detailing standards are essential. The process, however, holds some problems. Building code has been revised recently, and the utilization of placing drawings was proved to be low, and the reinforcement estimating in early stage of the process is below what is required for placement. Therefore, in this study, a survey was conducted to the reinforcement detailer, the fabricator and placer of domestic construction industry. According to the analysis of the survey, the reinforcement details on site was not standardized. The improvement in reinforcing steel detailing standards was sought by analyzing the results of the survey including reinforcement constructability.

Analysis of Crack characteristic on Concrete Cover for Subway Box Structure Due to Reinforcement Corrosion (철근부식으로 인한 지하철 박스구조물의 콘크리트 피복층 균열특성 분석)

  • Applying the calculated cross-sectional reduction due to the corroded rebar investigated in the field to the numerical analysis model, the damage pattern and delamination of concrete in the field showed a tendency relatively similar to the numerical analysis results. It was analyzed that when the expansion pressure due to corrosion of the reinforcing bar is greater than the tensile stress of the concrete, cracks are generated and the concrete cover can be fracture. As a result of this study, the correlation between the corrosion rate of reinforcing bars and the crack occurrence of the concrete cover of the subway box structure was verified based on the numerical analysis and field test results. To prevent rebar corrosion, the corrosion rate can be reduced by applying rust prevention to the reinforcing bar and changing the material. In the case of exposed to a corrosive environment, the tensile strength of the concrete is improved by adjusting the concrete compressive strength to secure durability against the expansion pressure caused by the corroded rebar.

A Study on the Actual Condition Survey of Apartment Rebar Work (공동주택 철근공사의 실태조사에 관한 연구)

  • The rebar work is very related to the safety and durability of the building. Recently, the rebar work is produced some serious problems due to the lack of skillful crafts-man and the rising cost of rebar materials. Many papers have dealt with the rebar work of the manufacturing system in plants with a view to improvement those problems. But, the research on the rebar work of the manufacturing system in field is in a insignificant condition. This study presents the following improvement schemes as a result. First, the education strengthening for evaluation on practical affairs, second, the reinforcement of drawing & management in shop drawing and finally the simplification of apartment rebar work in slab. Also, this paper aims at advancing apartment rebar work by the actual condition survey in slab work. The further research will be needed about the whole structure parts such as foundation, wall, girder and rebar truss-deck plate as one of the improvement methods.

  • This study aims at establishing JIT production management system to enable manage the resources input into from procurement through construction based on correct identification of the process, an analysis on the amount of input materials and information sharing. This study has focused on the process control and working process of rebar work in domestic apartment house construction where the overall scope of Process from the planning phase to the construction phase has been analyzed in this study. Also construction phase was selected for the application of a sample case. A basic model for JIT production was generated with these processes. Furthermore A questionnaire and the on-site survey with process, checklist and control data were prepared and performed for the application of JIT production management model into rebar work. The governing scopes of JIT production management system include process management, material management, yard loading and moving management and inventory control, and the operation of each control item

Priority Order of Reinforced Concrete Work for Inspection Applying 6 Sigma - Minimize time of additional correction work- (6시그마를 이용한 철근콘크리트 공사 검측항목 우선순위 선정 - 수정작업 시간 최소화를 중심으로 -)

  • The building construction industry of Korea was going through difficulties in improving productivity and competitiveness in international market. Therefore we expected to see the improvement in productivity by applying six-sigma based approach to general reinforced concrete construction work. As a result of applying DMAIC method, one of 6 sigma tools, we found that the most effective inspection items are 'Gap of forms' and 'status of clean'. We could see from this case study that the percentage of additional work days has decreased to 37.7% as a result of applying six-sigma based approach to reinforced concrete construction.
